Charly insists on continuing their engagement, in contrast to Valencia who looks unconcerned by the engagement. Valencia brushed off Charly's hand that was coiled around his wrist. Valencia looked very angry, he almost hit Charly from before him.

A burly man carried Valencia's body back and separated Charly's hand from her. Charly was stunned to see the arrival of a figure who was no stranger to him, the man was Reibert. He came to visit the mansion to pick up Valencia on the invitation to have lunch at his residence later. “Reibert! Have you come yet? What a coincidence.” Valencia greeted the friendly Reibert, a smile emanating from his lips.

Reibert's expression looked extremely cold looking at Charly, but when he switched his gaze to Valencia, his cold countenance instantly faded. Unknowingly he continued to react like this, rather Reibert looked like someone who was in love. His heart flowered for a moment to meet Valencia, even he invited Valencia directly to his pavilion to be taken to his residence to fulfill his promise that previously wanted to invite Valencia to lunch as a form of gratitude.

“Commander knight! Why can you be here? Then do you know my potential fiancee?” Charly's voice rang out, clearly Charly was afraid of Reibert.

“I know him well, now I want to pick up Valencia because we have an important appointment today. You better go home now, Young Master, before I get you battered here.” Reibert slipped a subtle, eerie bluff between his sentences that left Charly unable to do much.

Reibert drew Valencia's hand leaving Charly still dumbfounded in the living room. Valencia flashed a slanted smile as he waved to Charly, hoping to never see the man again.

‘Why do the two of them get to know each other? And they look good too. Could it be that they had a special relationship without my knowledge? No, I can't let that happen. Valencia is mine, she can't belong to anyone else, I have to do something to break their relationship, Charly's inner’.

“Do you plan to cancel your engagement plan with Young Master Nerio?” Reibert finally asked and opened a voice breaking the silence between the two of them.

“I did plan to cancel it, it's just that the man was very stubborn. He was shameless about forcing me to continue this engagement, even though he had cheated on me before. Inexcusable, I will make him aware as soon as possible,” grumbled Valencia growled.

“Actually you could have asked the Emperor to help cancel your engagement, the Emperor will definitely help you. However, the Emperor's order is absolute, if he gives an order to cancel the engagement between two noble families, then inevitably they must obey it.”
