The Return of the Mad Witch

The Return of the Mad Witch
The First Prince

The longer Valencia's gaze sharpened, the slower Linnea's legs moved backward reflexively. Linita was increasingly unhappy with Linnea, this time outraged by Linnea's behavior of wanting to dominate Valencia without her realizing who she really was and where she came from. In this palace no one sided with Linnea, not even the servants had ever placed any admiration or sympathy on Linnea. Although they knew how good Linnea's reputation was in the midst of the society of the Alegra Empire.

“I've been patient enough to face you, Miss, do you not know that I realized from the beginning that you are trying to make Valencia look low before me and the Emperor? You're trying to show yourself that you're better and trying to get my attention. But, it was useless, from the beginning my husband and I never liked your arrival to this palace,” Linita said looking down at Linnea.

Linita gestured for the knight standing at the door to rush inside. Linita's horror could no longer be contained, now he would remove Linnea from the face of Valencia.

“Your Majesty, it's not so! Please forgive me, I don't mean to be presumptuous to you. It's just me—”

“I don't want to see your face again, as a nobleman with no effect you should be better able to put yourself and be kind before high-ranking nobles. You might think I'm just like the Grand Duke who easily gasps at your innocent face, but it's a pity that I'll side with Valencia no matter what. From infidelity to you trying to dominate Valencia, I will never forgive you!”

Valencia smiled triumphantly, from the beginning he knew how much Linita and Abraham hated Linnea so Valencia took advantage of this moment to make Linnea increasingly looked down upon by the two imperial leaders. In addition to making him embarrassed, now Valencia also managed to make Linita angry with him. The Queen's anger meant the Emperor's anger as well, it meant that Linnea was igniting the most frightening anger.

“You guys take Miss Linnea out of the palace right now! Never allow him to enter this palace again! Sassy woman like her did not deserve to face off against the Emperor and Empress,” orders Linita firmly.

The knights directly obeyed Linita's orders, they dragged Linnea forcibly out of the dress storage room. At first Linnea refused to get out of there, but due to the coercion of the knights she was finally dragged out of the palace.

‘How does it feel, Linnea? You tried to bring me down, but it backfired for yourself. I don't feel so sorry, quite the contrary, I'm so happy to see you being dragged around with a pitiful face. Let's see what else you're going to do, but I'm sure this matter will circulate into the wider community, the inner’ of Valencia.

After Linnea's expulsion, Valencia and Linita re-enjoyed the two of them in their leisure time. They were having fun in the palace, it seemed that Linita was very happy because she had never spent time with her daughter all this time. So, Linita considered that Valencia was his daughter who spent time with him.

After being satisfied, Valencia said goodbye to Linita and Abraham because he had to do some things before he officially announced the formation of a group of female knights. Thanks to Abraham's permission, no one can stand in his way.

As Valencia was walking down the hallway of the palace, he stumbled across a young man who looked very much like Abraham. The young man stared intensely at Valencia, and vice versa, without being told Valencia already knew that the young man was the son of Abraham and Linita. However, there was something that made Valencia dumbfounded here, he felt the presence of an unpleasant aura covering the man's body.

“Valencia Allerick salutes His Highness the first Prince, Rudolf Alegra.” Valencia bowed in greeting to the Prince named Rudolf.

“Gosh, it was you apparently Miss Valencia, how long have we not met? You changed a lot after that suicide attempt incident.” Rudolf greeted Valencia back with a false expression of sumringah, he was hiding his cold nose before Valencia.

Valencia smiled in annoyance, he was very dislikeful of Rudolf even though this was their first meeting after Valencia entered this body.

“That's right, Your Majesty, I have changed a lot thanks to the incident,” Valencia replied.

Rudolf still did not let go of his smile, he had a certain intent behind that smile. Valencia acted like an innocent girl so Rudolf could lower the slight gaze that was trying to scan him.

“Consider this as my change towards a better self.”

“Oh, that? I hear you've been doing a lot lately, too. I appreciate you taking the courage to save this empire from harm. As a Prince, I am very grateful to you,” Rudolf said.

“You need not thank me, this is my duty as a citizen of the Alegra Empire.”

Valencia glanced at Rudolf's subordinates walking behind him, something inexplicable and something was in the way for Valencia to look further into the two of them.

‘This prince has a gela aura, as well as the man who became his subordinate. I don't like them as if they are a great threat to the peace of this country. I have to investigate them secretly,’ Valencia thought.

When they finished talking to each other, Valencia left and left Rudolf. Rudolf's smiling countenance turned subtly cold.

“Valencia Allerick, I had a hunch that she would be an obstacle to my plan. Elkin, you investigate him, put spies around him, if he does anything that threatens my plans, then eliminate him at all costs,” Rudolf told his subordinates.

“Good, Your Majesty, I can also feel it there is another air in the body of the girl,” Elkin said – personal assistant Rudolf.

“That means we should not underestimate the girl, she can overcome the red portal easily. Seeing and hearing his strength alone made me instantly convinced that he was not the Valencia Allerick I used to know.”

Valencian stepping outside the palace, Luana as the knight who accompanied Valencia realized that something was troubling Valencia's mind after meeting Rudolf.

“Nona, is there anything that bothers your mind?” ask Luana.

“Nothing, I was just thinking about something else,” call Valencia.

He entered the horse carriage with a myriad of questions netting in his head. Valencia was clearly distracted by Rudolf, he could read Rudolf's countenance trying to investigate him.
