The Return of the Mad Witch
The Peak of Rebellion

Valencia held out the corner of his lips. Rudolf had lit a huge fire wick that would devour himself. It is ironic that he has not given up and has not learned from his past mistakes. Now he has taken his own life to the gates of death.

"How dare you, Rudolf! Alright, I will not show you my mercy. Now split! Finish them off before they enter the palace!"

Valencia and the others scattered in all directions. Meanwhile, Valencia lunged straight in front of Rudolf. However, he is instead held back by a horde of magical creatures and witches.

"Haha. You won't be able to block my move to take over this palace."

Rudolf as fast as lightning passed from before Valencia. He was like a coward who left the girl to his subordinates. This brings a deep rage in the hearts of Valencia. However, he quickly got rid of these feelings because there are still more important things he has to do now.

"Bajing*n shit! You really make me sick!"

Valencia hastily bulldozed the enemy who was blocking his move. In the middle of it, involuntarily his sense of hearing caught the noise from the capital.

"Miss! There's something I need to report!"

Luana was in a bad condition to rush to Valencia using his horse. His feelings were uncertain after watching a major event hit the capital.

"What's up, Luana?"

"Sorry, Miss, you must immediately go to the capital because there are many monsters springing up from the portal and attacking the resident settlements. We were unable to solve it because the level of monsters that came out was very different from usual," Luana explained.

"What?" Both Valencia eyeballs are perfectly rounded. "I can't leave the palace now because—"

"Go, Valencia! I'll handle Rudolf myself" Rexid said.

"Alright, I leave Rudolf to you."

Valencia spurred his move towards the imperial capital. His footsteps paused for a moment watching the heartbreaking sight in the capital. There were many human corpses scattered and trampled by magic creatures. The smell of fresh blood is radiating to the sense of smell of Valencia.

Without lingering, he instantly launched a streak of attacks against the rampaging magical beasts. Their level was no longer the level of ordinary magical beasts but rather a deadly level that only high-level mages could complete.

"Looking at this whole matter happening, I'm getting curious as to who the person behind it is."

Rudolf had been inside the palace, he killed the servants and knights who were trying to hinder his pace. He was like a madman who continuously swung his sword incessantly. The inhabitants of the palace were terrified, they had no more strength to fight Rudolf.

"Your Majesty, please. Please leave the palace immediately!" shouted one of the knights.

Abraham and Linita were jolted from their sleep hearing a commotion from outside the room. Both of them jumped out of bed and intended to ask the situation to the knight.

"What the hell is going on?" ask Abraham.

"Prince Rudolf put up a rebellion and messed up the whole of istan—"

A sword suddenly pierced the heart of the knight. Abraham and Linita were surprised to see Rudolf coming to draw his sword. He looked different from the Rudolf they had known all along.

"Hello, Dad, Mom. How are you guys doing? It looks like you guys are looking very healthy and fine as long as I'm not around" Rudolf said as he rubbed the bloodstains on his face.

"Yes, I plan to destroy Alegra and rebuild Alegra as I see fit. I will become the Emperor and make the Alegra Empire the top of the Solvey continent!"

"Then why did you kill Stephen? Isn't he your sister? You shouldn't have done that. I believed you were a good boy from the beginning, but why? Why did you betray my trust as your mother?"

Linita finally spoke up with tears in her eyes and began to fall down her cheeks. There was an overwhelming sense of tightness that he was enduring as well as pain gnawing at his heart.

"Did you forget? You never thought of me as good as Stephen. Everyone liked him and wanted to make him the Crown Prince. Then what about me?! You guys aren't even looking at me one bit. So, I thought Stephen was just a pest blocking my way. And so, I thought of killing him."

Hard to believe, Rudolf was really out of control. He did not look at Abraham and Linita as his parents but rather as two people who were obstacles to his plan. He has been blinded by power, he has been taken aback by malevolence.

"Based on a brat!" Linita bellowed furiously, he stepped closer to Rudolf then clasped his collar. "Did you know? We planned from the beginning to make you Crown Prince, even Stephen never wanted to take your position. I can't believe I gave birth to a demon child like you. No heart and blind power."

Linita jerked at Rudolf's collar, his eyes no longer filled with warmth. No matter who Rudolf was to him, now he only saw Rudolf as a demon.

"Hahaha, that's bullshit! I don't trust you guys. What a ridiculous lie. Don't expect that saying something like that would make me undo my killing intent. Will I—"

THE PLAQUE!

Abraham slapped Rudolf's cheek. I don't know how much disappointment and anger he has. Though he had high hopes towards Rudolf becoming the leader of Alegra in the future. However, everything was lost, there was nothing left.

"I'm sorry you became my son. From today on you are no longer part of the Alegra Imperial family. Your name will be erased from the lineage, do not dream that you can bear the name of Alegra again" Abraham stared coldly at Rudolf.

"How dare you slap me! Do you think that it could be so easy just because I'm your flesh blood?! Goddamnit! Just die you!"

Rudolf swung his sword and pointed it towards Abraham's heart. However, his attack was successfully repelled by Abraham using a sword lying on the floor.

Rudolf put his sword back on, but again Abraham held his weapon.

"Linita, go out! I don't want you to be harmed by this dog*n! Go find Henzo, I'm sure he's in front of the palace" Abraham ordered.

"I can't leave—"

"Quick! I can't move if you're still here" Abraham said.

"All right, I'm going outside right now."

Linita left Abraham. Meanwhile, the husband still resisted Rudolf's sword attack.

"What a husband and wife love each other."

Rudolf smiled cunningly, he suppressed his attack and added strength from his sword. Just as Abraham was about to slash Rudolf's chest, he was late. A subordinate of Rudolf appeared from behind and a sharp weapon smeared with poison was unsheathed through Abraham's heart.

Abraham's body fell unconscious, he lost so much blood.

"DAD!"
