Chapter 14: Getting Attacks

A handsome-looking man looked at the night city scene with a flat gaze while holding a glass of wine. Behind him stood a handsome 19-year-old man with a dog collar wrapped around his neck who was now bowing respectfully towards the man.

"What information did you get?" Asked the man without taking his eyes off.

"In recent days many large companies have promised the welfare of the population. While some people start holding campaigns." Obviously the young man.

"Heh, apparently they were impatient as well. We'll celebrate it during the campaign." He spoke indifferently and turned to look at the young man coldly.

"Good Sir. Then I'll step down." The young man soon passed from there leaving the man alone.

Soon a beautiful woman in sexy clothes came to the man with a frown.

"Why is your face pouting so, hmm?" Ask the man in a soft tone.

"I met that loser. You know he's insulting me which means he's insulting you too." His sister while writhing spoiled in the man's arm.

"You're always looking for trouble with people. Aren't you bored?" The man grumbled in annoyance. I don't know how many times the woman has been looking for trouble with people with low economies for trivial reasons.

"Those who like to find trouble with me. You don't love me anymore?" His whimper spoiled making the man sigh tired with his female behavior.

"alright. I want my men to investigate before I step in." Said the man while fondling the woman.

On the roof of the building, two men in dark clothes were watching a hotel room. A man wearing a dragon mask that covered almost half of his face was watching something from his telescope.

"How's it?" Asked the man looking at his companion who was wearing a bird mask. The bird-masked man, who covered almost half of his face, was busy typing something on his laptop.

"Situation safe. Target entered the room." The bird masked man said with a grin printed on his face.

The dragon-masked man smiled faintly and returned busy with his telescope observing their target. Then the man took out a long-barreled rifle and put up a silencer. After that he pulled the trigger of his rifle and shot his target.

'DOR'S'

Two middle-aged men in a hotel room collapsed instantly.

"Mission is done." Said the dragon-masked man while removing the silencer and packing his equipment.

"I can finally sleep tonight." Said the bird masked man while stretching his slightly stiff body.

They immediately left the place by teleportation, leaving sparks and ice chips on a roof of the building.

Kirania is seen busy choosing a DVD cassette belonging to the father while Ellios is lying on the living room sofa after the departure of two adult men a moment ago.

"Sister, we're watching this movie, okay?" His ink with a sparkling view, next to his hand holding an action movie DVD cassette.

A bored Ellios stared at the DVD cassette held by Kirania. I don't know why his adoptive sister has loved action movies since childhood.

"alright. The movie isn't boring." The answer was relaxed while taking the DVD cassette in Kirania's hands and putting it on DVD.

'Tok.. Geck.. Geck..'

As the two were watching, suddenly the sound of knocking on the door made them turn towards the door. Maybe Albert went home thinking it was late now.

"This is papa's apartment. It's impossible for papa to come home to his own door." Kirania was a little suspicious.

"Of course considering it's almost midnight. I'll open the door, you just wait here." Reply Ellios while rushing towards the door.

Ellios unsuspectingly walked towards the door and opened it, but how shocked was the fourteen-year-old young man when he saw some people dressed in black pointing their weapons at him making the young man sweat coldly. Their faces were covered with a completely plain mask.

Ellios grimaced in pain while trying to stand up. Seeing that, Kirania immediately approached the older brother and looked at the people with a confused look. Moreover, one of them began to tear apart the entire apartment of his father.

"Who and what do you want?" Kirania asked a little scared. Ellios hid the girl behind her body.

One of them pointed at his gun and said coldly, "If you want to survive, answer my question. Where's Gilbert Antonio?"

A frown appeared on the foreheads of the two boys making the masked man emotional and was about to raise his gun to hit the two children. One of his friends stopped him.

"Don't hurt them. If that loser isn't here, we can sell them at a high price." He said in a mocking tone.

"I agree, moreover there are two decent-looking boys. We can get a bonus." The other speech made the man who was about to hit her scorn and lower his weapon.

"What are you doing in my apartment?" The words of a man with a cold tone made them turn their head to the origin of the voice.

The sight of a handsome man with scars on his face, black-haired with some blue strands staring intently at a number of people who were surrounding his two children made Albert emotional. His dark blue eyes stared intently at the group of masked people.

Since some time ago, city X has experienced problems in government and the economy. Where many wealthy businessmen are vying to raise their industries in city X, the government that only spread promises and blunt laws makes this city collapse.

As a result many criminals from outside the city fled and hid in city X, making their citizens anxious considering the law in this city is so blunt. Even some young women were kidnapped and made slaves by those in power.

"Follow with us, then these children will be saved." Said one of the plain masked men as he floated a kick towards Ellios, making the boy curl up in pain.

Albert entered his apartment quietly making the group of intruders laugh mockingly. "Little men like you deserve a loser. I don't know why our lady wants this trashy guy so much."

'Sring'

One of the plain masked men who was near two children who were soon teenagers collapsed with a deep slash wound in his vitals to make the man die instantly. While his partner looked at Albert who was casually wagging his samurai with a murderous look.

"Bad!! Finish him!!" Exclaimed the plain masked man and showered him with gunfire. A gunfight happened in his apartment.

A strange symbol appeared on Albert's body as several bullets were several inches away from his body and making the bullet bounce sent the men into a panic.

"No way." Said one of them with an incredulous look.

"Just shoot him!" The leader orders with emotion.

The sound of bullets reverberating in his apartment unit. Albert casually stood up as a shield for the two boys behind him.

"Lad..." Kirania's great-grandson frightened Ellios made Albert turn to two children who soon grew up with a thin smile engraved on his god face.

Several bullet shells fell down with a loud clanking sound making them stop their fire.

"Hey, hey, can't you guys shoot properly?" Albert said casually by putting on a mocking face making them angry.

"Have finished? Then it's my turn." Albert swiftly slid and slashed at the few intruders it made the remaining two tremble in fear.

"S–who are you?" Asked one of the plain masked men in a trembling tone before collapsing from a punch landing by having the two men bend.

"This ant is a real hassle." Albert complained then he remembered the two children behind him. The man turned around and looked at the two children with an anxious look.

"You guys okay?"

They nodded compactly then hugged the man tightly.

"Is uncle okay?" Ellios asked anxiously while letting go of her embrace.

"I'm fine. You guys don't worry. It's become common for me." His relaxed reply made the at ease Kirania hug her papa loosening her embrace and looked at Albert with a questioning look.
