Chapter 56

The graduation exam is over. Kirania has recently been very rarely seen at school and more often with Albert follows wherever the man goes, because his handsome father made Kirania an impromptu assistant. Moreover, this calm situation looked suspicious making the Athena Group higher-ups suspicious and sent Kirania with Ivanna to investigate.

Albert stared at Ivanna who successfully made the young man shiver disco. If Albert's gaze was like a laser, it was possible that Ivanna's head was hollow due to the sharp gaze directed by the handsome man. After their task was completed, Albert promised to freeze Ivanna and auction her off later if her beloved daughter's body was scratched just a little.

And here they are. Kirania and Ivanna went around downtown X to see some damaged buildings and some people were busy scavenging for the rest of the property that could still be saved.

Kirania saw a man on a stretcher by several nurses with an infusion containing a bag of blood stuck in one of his arms. Instantly the memories of the past revolved in his memories.

Flashbacks

The 3-year-old Kirania lay weakly with an infusion tube stuck in her arm with blood splattered on the floor. The blood belonged to Kirania who was a child back then. Her face looked extremely pale as the girl's blood was almost depleted on her body.

Once enough was felt, he saw Damian carrying 3 bags of blood and transfusing it to little Kirania. He also injected something into the arm of the dying little girl.

8-year-old Kirania is forced to kill a dying man by Damian. If it refuses then the middle-aged man will make it as an object of research. Inevitably little Kirania complied and killed the man.

"Now cut off his body." Damian's Word. With trembling hands Kirania did as her grandfather had told her to do.

Kirania is done with her job. His little body was filled with blood splashes. Suddenly Albert in disguise came carrying a package.

"This is what you asked for, sir." Albert said politely as he handed the parcel over.

"Get out." Damian's orders are cold.

Albert and his gaze unintentionally saw little Kirania covered in blood. Not wanting to get into trouble, Albert immediately came out leaving them.

"Now you're eating next to this corpse. Don't spit it out." Order's cold.

Want to not want little Kirania obey the very wishes of grandfather by being forced. A few minutes later little Kirania had finished eating and Damian immediately dragged little Kirania somewhere.

Damian took her to the lab. The old man immediately threw the little Kirania in the gurney and tied his own hands and feet. The man took a liquid and injected it into Kirania's arm.

Kirania screamed in pain as the liquid reacted on her body. Occasionally the girl vomited a mouthful of blood before ending up unconscious.

Upon regaining consciousness, Kirania saw Joshua looking at her anxiously. The man's face looked bruised and the corners of his lips were bleeding.

When he was 9 years old, Damian injected a liquid that made his body feel burned. I don't know what the liquid contained that made Kirania scream in pain for three whole days. During the time of suffering, Albert is in disguise and Joshua accompanies him even though they are both severely beaten by Damian.

Until the time Kirania was 12 years old, with the heart Damian injecting a high dose of aphrodisiacs made Kirania scream. He was tormented for a full day before Joshua managed to handle it. When he realized he saw the faces of Albert and Joshua were covered with injuries.

Yeah, Damian used to make it experimental. Countless times Kirania was almost picked up by death and ended up her uncle and father who were undercover saving lives from the brink of death.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Ivanna patted Kirania on the shoulder when she accidentally found the girl daydreaming with a trembling body.

"Ah, I'm fine." Answer's short. "We'd better get on with our work." Imbuh Kirania flat.

Ivanna just kept quiet and returned to the crowded streets and passed by vehicles and pedestrians. They headed for a park that looked deserted. Some people in special uniforms were taking some firearms out of a container truck. Immediately Ivanna reported to the Athena Group's top brass.

"We found weapons smuggling in the central park." The young man spoke through the earphones in his ears.

"We're leaving." Ivanna said after getting an answer.

"Attent." Said Kirania while paying attention to the situation. Today the park is very quiet and feels strange. Kirania looked around and saw some snipers hiding in some shophouses located some distance away from them standing.

"It looks like they're watching around." Ivanna chirps as her eyes catch a long barrel between the windows.

"They're watching you. Disguise yourself to be a stray couple." Ganymede and Scorpio's words compactly made Ivanna paled instantly while still remembering Albert's nagging gaze aimed at her.

"What can I do." Kirania sighed tiredly and dragged Ivanna away from there.

Afternoon has come and seen 5 high school students seen sitting in a cafe with drinks presented in front of them.

Ellios looked at Irene who was staring hungry at him with a puff not to mention the nagging gaze that was directed by Xeon made the red-haired young man want to chop them up and then give them to wild animals.

"They why?" Antares' whisper that just sniffed his shoulder was indifferent omen of not knowing. The initial intention of wanting to drink while waiting for Kirania to collapse as three loyal bullies followed suit. Inadvertently the green eyes of the young man staring at someone who was very familiar walking with a young man made him twitch in annoyance.

"Why is Kirania with that young man, damn it!! Where is the sweet smile again?!" He shouted in his heart while holding the glass containing his drink tightly until it cracked slightly.

While Kirania, pretending to be dating Ivanna, enters the cafe where Ellios is. Soon they sat down right next to Ellios' table and ordered food.

"It looks like they got a job." Suddenly the voice of Aulolis rang out in the head of the red-spirited youth.

"really. But I wouldn't be willing if my sister smiled sweetly with someone else." Whinek Ellios did not accept.

"That's it. After all, Albert always took him to a special place for striped men and showed how they behave. At least that way your beloved sister can be wary of the opposite sex." Aulolis' reply calmed Ellios down.

Ellios let out a breath. If he thinks he also feels guilty for limiting the association of his sister. He did not want his sister to be involved in free association in this lawless city. Occasionally those green eyes glanced at the little sister who had devoured three jumbo-sized bowls of ramen making Ivanna look at him in disbelief.

"I didn't expect your appetite to be so good." Ivanna's chirps were accidentally heard on their table.

"If you mean to make fun of me, it's best to be quiet or your tongue be the garnish of my food." The reply of Kirania made Ivanna silent for a moment. Ellios who saw the interaction of the two could only sigh.

"Wow, Ellis. His words were cruel." Antares' spell made Ellios look at him coldly.

"Wouldn't her mother teach her how to speak properly? He doesn't seem to have ethics." Sinis Irene made Ellios stare at the girl sharply.

"What is your business?" Cynic Ellios coldly made Irene glazed over.

"Ah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that." Irene said while bowed down full of regret.

"Alright, Honey. You don't have to feel guilty like that." Xeon's words calmed Irene down.

"What Irene said was true. His words are too cruel." Emillia defends Irene, making the girl moved.

"Are you not in Samperin?" The Antares chirps made his mood a little better.

Ellios decided to approach the sister and pat her back making Kirania who was eating turned fiercely towards her with cheeks bloated because it was filled with food. When he saw Ellios and Antares, his fierce gaze immediately turned into a flat gaze.

Kirania immediately swallowed her food and greeted the elder sister in annoyance.

"Hi, Brother."

"Can you join?" Ellios asked who was immediately replied with a nod. The two of them immediately sat down on the chair that was next to Kirania and Ivanna.

"You're out on a date?" Ellios asked to the point and stared fiercely at Ivanna. While Ivanna can only sigh in frustration, why should she be paired with Kirania, the owner of the Aquarius tattoo surrounded by psychopaths, anyway? He can only be in his heart

"No." Reply them in unison.

"We got a mission to investigate about Aaron." Ivanna raised her voice while sipping her drink.

"You're not in school, Ran?" Ask Antares to Kirania. At once Ellios snorted angrily at her friend.

"No. The exam ended a week ago." Kirania's reply made Antares nod.

"You've decided which school you're going to?"

"It has. And I haven't discussed it with papa." The reply was relaxed then glanced at Ivanna with the gaze of a kitten asking to be picked up which successfully made the young man anxious.

'Patience, Ellios... Patience... In front of you is Kirania.' His mind inwardly as he looked at the gaze of Cyria cast upon Ivanna. Ellios looked at Ivanna with a sharp look. Ivanna stared back at Ellios making Kirania bored.

"Because I forgot to bring money, please pay yes, Sister Ivanna~" Pinta Kirania made the blonde-haired young man almost choke when he saw four piles of empty jumbo bowls used to eat Kirania.

"All right."

'What's his stomach made of, anyway?' Ivanna in the heart.

"Together with mine too." Ellios added that Ivanna smiled sweetly but in her heart she cursed the red-haired young man.

'Looks like Mr. Albert and Mr. Joshua are keeping wild lions.'
