Chapter 17

It had been three months since Cyria and Ellios had settled in the city of X. Those who were once emaciated have now been contained and they have grown into tough and intelligent teenagers thanks to the upbringing of Albert and Joshua.

The two men trained their physical, mental and mindset in solving problems like a professional killer. In fact, not infrequently they both trained the physical and mental 2 teenagers in the forest located not far from their apartment.

Kirania and Ellios also attended Junior High School in City X. During these three months they have only studied and practiced with Albert and Joshua and the soul of their zodiac tattoo.

Kirania and Ellios were walking leisurely while carrying a bag of groceries. They had just returned home from school and were planning to do the exercises after they finished their assignments.

Suddenly someone bumped into Kirania causing the girl to slightly whine. A girl dressed in the same uniform looked at him with a condescending look and left Kiranua and Ellios with astonished looks.

"You're finally back" Joshua said in a rueful tone as a pair of teenagers entered the apartment, making the two teenagers roll their lazy eyes. "I thought you were lost." Follow that guy again.

"Stop that mocking tone, you pervert!" The Kiranian sarcasm immediately struck Joshua in the heart.

"Hey, I'm not a pervert, you know!" Joshua did not accept.

"Yes, you're not a pervert considering your room is full of adult magazines." Kirania's ejek that immediately made Joshua's head twitch irritated.

"At least I'm handsome and a lot of money."

"Ah... Why don't you just shop. Are you getting senile?" Sindir Ellios who immediately upset Joshua.

If these two teenagers were not his nieces, Joshua would happily throw them out of the apartment window or throw them into the river.

Before Joshua could reply to his nephew's sweet words, there was the sound of a distant bullet whirring through the silence of a beautiful afternoon.

"They never make me rest." Joshua then turned to the two teenagers in the kitchen and said, "You take care of the house, I'll be out for a while." Which is only answered with a frown. Joshua immediately rushed to the door and closed it, leaving Kirania and Ellios who were now busy arranging the groceries in the kitchen.

"I'd better make dinner." The girl's guman.

Albert hides in one of the alleyways while clasping the hand of a 9-year-old boy. Occasionally the man peeked at a group of black-clothed people with covered faces who kept firing bullets.

The man wore a dragon mask that covered almost part of his face, an all-black outfit covered with a black robe, as well as a hood that hid his hair.

"Stay with me. If they let their guard down, you should leave immediately. You know your parents' place, right?" Ask Albert while paying attention to the situation.

"Hu'um." Answer the boy with certainty.

"Good." Albert immediately came out of his hiding place followed by a 9-year-old boy.

"D–dia the assassin with the Dragon tattoo!" One of the men was dressed in black.

"Heh, he's alone. We can beat him in one shot." His partner underestimated.

"Wait for me. Whatever happens, never look back and don't stop. You know the route, right?"

"Yes." Yeah." The boy firmly.

"Give the boy over!" Shouted one of the group of people in black uniforms covered.

"Now!"

The boy immediately ran away from the area, while Albert ran towards the group of people dressed in black to distract them.

"Foot!"

The whirring of the bullet sounded disheveled, throwing hot lead at high speed towards Albert. Albert nimbly dodged the bullet while taking out his samurai and dispelling the bullet attack.

'Kling.kling'

Albert looked back to make sure the boy had left safely, but a bullet managed to hit his shoulder. A strange symbol on Albert's shoulder that reflected the bullet made him cluck in annoyance.

"You shot me while I was off guard. This time I'll be serious!" Then Albert immediately slashed one of the men in black.

'Duakh' 'Brukh'

One had fallen down making the group of black-clothed people involuntarily flinch backwards. Albert stood up casually and attacked them until they were left.

Kirania had finished arranging dinner at the dining table when someone pressed the bell of her apartment.

'Ting tong'

Alert Kirania immediately picked up a gun located on the table and peeked at the telekom screen. Seen a handsome man with brown hair, bluish-gray eyes with resolute jaws smiling widely on the telecom screen which made the girl snort.

"Kiran~ don't you want to open the door for your handsome uncle this ~?" Kirania immediately put her gun back down and stepped her foot toward the apartment door reluctantly.

Kirania reluctantly opens the door to her apartment. There were 2 handsome men standing at the door and letting them in. Not forgetting that the girl closed the door to her apartment.

Joshua and Albert sat down on a long sofa in the living room. They open 3 shirt buttons revealing their field chests that look sturdy and muscular.

"You didn't say hello to your handsome uncle?" Tempting Joshua while raising his eyebrows which made Kirania upset.

"You look so old, Uncle." Kirania ejeked at the sight of Joshua's highly random appearance. The girl immediately walked towards the kitchen to make a drink.

"Basic niece of curse." Joshua grumbled softly and got a sharp look from Albert.

"I heard it, you pervert!" Kirania exclaimed from the direction of the kitchen that managed to make Joshua twitch annoyed.

"I'll take a shower first." Albert got off the sofa and walked to his room.

Albert came out with a much fresher appearance. The man flicked his black hair with a few slightly wet blue strands making anyone melt upon seeing it. The man was dressed in casual clothes and immediately headed for the dining room which had apparently been awaited by Joshua and Kirania who were busy arguing with Ellios as his mediator.

"He why?" Albert asked Ellios when he saw his daughter was busy nagging Joshua.

"As usual. He teased Kiran until she got angry." Ellios replied with a laugh while watching Kirania and Joshua who were busy arguing.

"Ehem! You can continue your discussion later. Now let's eat first." Albert said that successfully stopped the dispute between a pair of people of different gender and age.

"Good thing you came at the right time. Otherwise, my ears will explode at the babbling of your daughter." Joshua's murmur was annoyed as he looked at Kirania with a sharp look.

"Why is Uncle looking at me like that? Uncle likes me?" Kirania asked in a mocking tone while raising her eyebrows made Joshua sigh in frustration.

"Kiran, stop teasing your Uncle. After eating you can freeze it as you please." Albert's reply was with a look of disbelief by Joshua and a happy gaze from Kirania.

The four of them were relaxing in the living room which served as a family room. Albert looked at Kirania who was busy watching action films while leaning on the boat Ellios who was busy reading books, not forgetting the company of his favorite snack.

"How's your school?" Albert asked, observing his two children.

"As usual, Pa." They answered in unison and looked at Albert with a warm gaze.

"Uhh... Sweetness~ If only his mouth was not spicy." The two men's minds are at the same time.

Feeling no response, Kirania cleared the banquet of 2 handsome men who were in front of her.

"There's no need to look at us that way until you forget to blink. I know we're so handsome that your eyes bulge almost out of their cavities." Kirania's confident speech made the two men roll her eyes lazily.

'Based on the accursed boy!Did he forget that he was female?'' They can only curse in the heart.
