Chapter 26: Broken Hearts?

City X, a special city filled with conflict between rulers, both from the government and from the businessmen.

Aaron stared at the cityscape of X district B from his apartment window with a flat gaze while occasionally shaking the wine glass in his hand. Lately the state of the city began to heat up with regard to the election of the mayor to be held in a few weeks.

The power struggle caused many casualties due to extreme competition. They do not hesitate to get rid of opponents by killing their targets.

A woman dressed quite sexy barged into her room without knocking on the door. Instantly the arousing fragrance of spring perfume filled this room.

"When are you gonna get rid of that loser?" His whine was spoiled as he hugged the man from behind.

"Why so long? I've been waiting for him for 2 years."

"Why do you want to get rid of that loser?" Ask Aaron curiously. During these 2 years the woman had always wanted to get rid of a man who lived in a simple apartment.

"I don't like him, that's all." His reply while putting on a sad face made the man snort and approach the woman.

"You know how much it pays, right?" His whisper with a hoarse voice that was immediately assailed by the woman.

"Three more weeks I'll do it for you." He said while grinning mysteriously.

Kirania walked down the hallway of the classroom with a sleepy face. Sometimes the girl yawns while covering her mouth with her hands.

"Relin-hoa..."

"You're fighting again?" Aqueera asked glanced at Kirania who was yawning for the umpteenth time.

"Hn. Last night I managed to beat my uncle in a game." He replied casually while yawning back.

'More precisely beat him in a duel. I can't wait to memorize the money to the end, nyuehehehe.' His mind is in the heart.

Aqueera and Kirania are now friends, rather Aqueera forces the girl to be her best friend. They have been close for 3 years and are always together.

"You look very familiar with your uncle."

A young man leaned against the walls of Kirania's classroom then stared intently at the girl. "You're 5 seconds late. Stay away from me." Ketus a young man with purplish black hair. His face is pretty good looking for a teenager his age.

The young man rushed to leave Kirania in annoyance, making the girl lower her head.

"Have it, don't think about it." Aqueera comforted Kirania with a mocking-sounding tone.

They continued their steps towards their class located in class IX B. They entered the classroom and headed for their respective seats, but Ganymede's voice echoed in his head.

"Why are you so stupid to keep them, Ran?" Ganymede began to chatter in his head as soon as Kirania entered the classroom.

"They didn't let me go. I can't stand it, but you know it's useless." Said Kirania through her mind as she stepped towards the seat located at the back.

"They really have no heart."

"That's it, I'm fine. Thank you for worrying about me. I'll get back to them later, nyuehehe..." Kirania's laughter is a sign of something bad.

"As far as you go."

As she was about to sit on her stool, Kirania saw the trash scattered on the table making the girl snort. Soon Kirania picked up the trash and cleaned her stool but a group of students came to her.

"Well, whoa. You're so diligent." Said one of the girls with a mocking look while her friend giggled.

Kirania silently ignored them and continued her activities, making the girl furious.

"How dare a disgusting poor kid like you ignore me?!" Jerk the girl while pushing the Kirania table. The rest of the class stopped their activities and looked at them with annoyance. However they did not dare to stop the group because they were the children of the influential people in X city.

Kirania's face darkened. The girl had already been unable to bear their treatment for these three months.

"What do you want?" Kirania asked coldly making them startled then returned laughing.

"Oh, he asked 'what do you want?' It's scary." Knock one of them while sneering. Then they laugh.

While the girl who pushed the table Kirania put on a slanted smile and pushed Kirania hard to cause herself to be a bit smug.

"You want? Of course your death. Because you don't deserve Steve!" His impact while pushing Kirania violently.

"You talk about death as if you were dead. Do you want to feel what it's like to die?" Kirania asked in a cold tone made the girl startled and slightly tremble. During this time Kirania never fought them despite being bullied.

'What's this?' Inner fear. Cold sweat was pouring down his forehead. At first glance the girl saw a blue light dancing in Kirania's eyes.

"Look at you!" His impact as it passed was followed by his friends. Kirania sighed in annoyance and continued cleaning her dirty table.

"You're so cool." Say one of the female students timidly. The girl's cheeks were flushed.

"Not really." Then Kirania rushed out of class to throw garbage leaving the student who was now blushing violently.

The break has come. Kirania rushes to tidy up her book and darts towards Steve's class and waits for him at the door.

"Why are you here?" Ketus Steve when he saw Kirania who was standing at the door and passed him just like that.

"Of course I'd like to take you to lunch." Kirania replied as she caught up with the young man and stood before him.

"I want to apologize anyway."

"God." Steve's cold speech made Kirania gasp in shock and unconsciously her body moved away from the young man's presence.

Steve just passed by leaving Kirania glued to the classroom. I don't know why Steve's behavior has changed lately.

"Why does it feel so painful? Does this feel like a broken heart?" Inner Kirania while squeezing her skirt tightly. He immediately shook his head and rushed off towards the canteen.

When he arrived at the cafeteria, his eyes went down the canteen and looked for an empty spot. But accidentally the girl's eyes saw 2 figures she knew sitting together laughing happily. Kirania decided to order food and sat not far from the 2 figures out of curiosity about what they were talking about.

'How to end this painful relationship. Gee whiz... I'm going crazy.' He sat in his heart while listening to their conversation.
