Chapter 20: The Tweet of a Parrot

Ellios and Kirania have arrived in front of a 3-storey building that stands tall behind a 2-meter-high gate, which is nothing but a junior high school. Many students entered the school area. Some are escorted by private drivers, some are taking public transportation. Some even walk. Suddenly the sound of women screaming made them snort annoyed as soon as they stepped foot into the school gate for being the center of attention.

"The count!! Wait akuu!!" The cry of a 13-year-old girl while running up to her made a pair of teenagers of different gender and the hair turned to the origin of the voice lazily.

"Ran, I go first, yeah." Ellios immediately entered the school gate leaving Kirania in front of the gate.

"Yes, Brother." His legs were short while waiting for a beautiful black-haired girl who was now regulating her breath that was boring.

"You look familiar with that red-haired young man earlier. Who her? Is she your boyfriend?" Ask her curiously.

"He's my brother." His leg was short while walking towards the school area followed by the girl.

"Hee~ He's your brother? It can't be!" The exclamation did not accept making Kirania wrinkle her forehead. "Where could you look like this have such a handsome brother." His lips recalled the appearance of Kirania who looked geeky. Glasses as thick as a rhinoceros butt and short hair cepak style men black. Doesn't look like Ellios at all.

Kirania stopped her steps and looked at the girl with a sharp look.

"What do you care. You don't know anything about me." He spoke sharply and then continued on his way to class ignoring the girl. Instantly the girl's head was buzzing with Ganymede's voice chirping filled her head.

"Look at that parrot who was unceasingly following you. Why would you want to be friends with a noisy girl like that?"

"Who would be friends with him. According to my observations, he's talented at destroying relationships. Moreover, he has a certain intent with me." Kirania's speech through telepathy made Ganymede snort amusedly.

"You better be careful with him." Ganymede's advice made the corners of Kirania's lips slightly raised.

"of course. Thanks for warning me."

"of course. I want the best for you. You've been suffering for too long, Ran." Ganymede answered and cut off contact with the girl.

"But I'm your best friend. I know a lot about you, Kiran." The girl's words did not accept with a tone up an octave disperse Kirania's seagrass. Suddenly all the students stopped their steps and gazed at him with questionable gazes made Kirania hold back emotions.

"Oh, huh? Really true?" Kirania asked in a disdainful tone making the girl speechless. Now their debate is the center of attention because they are in the hallway of the class.

"If you're my best friend, you should know your limits, Aqueera." Kirania said in a cold tone and leaving the girl made Aqueera silently clench her hands restraining her emotions.

Ellios watched her foster sister arguing with a beautiful black-haired girl. A single smile was imprinted on his face when he saw Kirania successfully making the girl shut up.

"It seems you're worried about your foster sister. Why do you care so much about her that there's no blood ties?" A male voice echoed in Ellios' head.

"I just want to have a little sister. Especially when she was a child she suffered too much to make me want to protect her." Ellios answered through her mind.

"An interesting answer. Is it because of the man you think of as the father?" Ask that voice again.

"No. Not because of Uncle Albert. But because of my own desire."

"so. You better not show your concern in a flashy way. Fearing he was targeted for bullying because of his appearance." The voice commemorates.

"I know. Thank you for reminding me, Aulolis." Then Ellios headed for her class.

Kirania and Ellios attended a city X public school located not far from their apartment. It only takes 20 minutes to walk through a large intersection located on the edge of the city.

This public school is one of the elite schools that is famous for a qualified education and affordable costs. The school facilities are complete and modern, not inferior to other schools.

And students who are selected at this school will get a promotion from a prestigious High School, where the school is financed by the government until graduation.

Of course they both managed to enter this school thanks to their intelligence above average without the intervention of Albert and Joshua who successfully made 2 adult men silent instantly.

Albert arrived at a housing estate located in the F district of city X with a travel time of only 3 hours at a speed of 100km/h. He parked his bike and opened the full face helmet that covered his face making some women who passed by there look at him with a blushing face.

Albert ignored the adoring gazes directed at him and immediately looked for a 2-story house adjacent to the beautiful forest and landscape. He plans to open a cafe and resign from his place of work. Although the looting money given by Joshua some time ago was enough to support himself and the 2 teenagers for several years, but he did not want to depend on the money.

After searching for some time, Albert finally found a 2-story house that was about to be sold by the owner, a leaflet attached to the gate of the house showed the house was indeed wanted to be sold by the owner.

Albert called the number on the sheet attached to the gate and spoke to the owner of the number. Shortly after, a middle-aged man in his late thirties approached Albert.

"I own this house, son." The middle-aged man replied as he approached Albert who was in front of the gate of his house in a hurry. "Do you want to buy my house?" Ask him expectantly.

"I'd like to take a look at this house, can you sir?"

"Of course, Son. Let's go in." The middle-aged man opened the gate and invited Albert into the house. The two of them surrounded to take a look around and make sure this house was safe from intruders who were harassing her lately.

"Why do you want to sell this house, sir?" Ask Albet curious. He did need a house, but he wanted to know the reason for the middle-aged man.

"This house is full of memories from my wife. Because of my mistake, he left me for good." The man replied with a laugh that made Albert silently listen to the middle-aged man's story.

"I'm going to buy this house. Can you see the certificate or letter of this house?"

"Surely Nak." Then the middle-aged man immediately took the certificate and the key to the house and handed it to Albert. Albert checked the letter and nodded.

"I paid for this house, sir. Please take care of this ownership with my name. I want the day after tomorrow this ownership letter is already in my hands." Said Albert in an intimidating tone and handed him his business card.

"Good, Son. I'll finish it soon." Said the middle-aged man. Albert then took a check and wrote down the nominal listed there and handed it to the middle-aged man who received it with trembling hands.

The middle-aged man thanked him many times and soon left Albert alone. The handsome man like a god looked at the building that is now his while remembering his conversation with 2 teenagers who are now his children.

Flashbacks.

"Pa, lately a lot of intruders are breaking into the apartment night and night and it's disturbing my sleep." Adu Kirania while eating her dinner in a doldrums.

"Does Uncle have a problem with them?" Ask Ellios full of questions.

"none. I don't have a problem with anyone." Answer's calm.

"Is it possible because of your work?" What Ellios is referring to is her job as a hitman.

"No. I never showed my identity to anyone else."

"Isn't Papa a hit man?" Chirania who succeeded made the 2 men look at her with a suspicious look.

"Then?" Ask Albert curiously. He wanted to know what this chili mouth kid would say.

"Your pay should be higher than the income of a bartender. Why don't you just use it to buy a house away from this shitty frenzy? Moreover, Papa also managed to break the finances of the 2 families. That should be enough to buy a new house and open a business, right? No way Papa broke just buying a house." His mouth lightly made the 2 men gawk in shock.
