Chapter 16: About Joshua

Joshua Alandero Mahardika, a handsome 26-year-old man was standing under the shower soaking all over his perfectly sculpted body. His mind drifted into the past upon seeing that pair of strange couples.

He punched the wall before him powerfully to channel the hurt and disappointment of remembering the times he most wanted to forget.

Flashbacks

3 Years ago when he was betrothed to a red-haired woman. Who would have guessed that day was his day of misfortune for the rest of his life.

He disguised himself as a geeky man and became the woman's lover for three months. The man who first had a romance had to be willing to destroy his future because of the incident, where he was trapped by his own fiancee in a hotel room.

He saw his fiancee making out with a man right in his eyes, displaying perverted scenes while he was tied up with a naked body. Not only that, they injected something into his body while laughing mockingly causing him to be permanently impotent.

Joshua desperately mourns his life, he cannot get married and have children because of his circumstances. When he wanted to finish his life, Albert came to give him a bogeman who immediately made him aware.

"Don't be stupid, Joshua! Remember Ran, your favorite nephew! If you don't exist how is his life?! He who has been suffering all this time can still smile and you are desperate because of this?!"

"You know what, huh?! You don't understand what I'm going through and how I feel!" Joshua snapped in despair while gripping Albert's neck.

"I'm just like you!! I can't be with my daughter! And I also have no life after that." Slowly flowed.

Joshua let go of his grip and sat down to accept his destiny. The man was crying in silence.

Until one day he accidentally heard the conversation of his stepfather when he wanted to talk about something that made his life change that very second.

"The youngest daughter Helena is a suitable candidate for this experiment. He looks so much like that boy. I've also changed her DNA to resemble that of the man Diana found."

"When he was twelve, he had to undergo this experiment. I don't care if he lives or dies."

"You have castrated Joshua? Goody. I didn't put anything on the boy even though he had the power. What I want him and his friend to be is a great weapon for my ambition and I'll get rid of him once he's useless to me."

'Deg's'

Joshua's body shook violently. He did not expect the man he thought father would be cruel for his ambition. As he wanted to turn around, he saw Albert looking at him with an indecipherable expression.

"So we're just tools, huh? Real nice. I want to see Kirania for a minute." Albert said turning around and leaving just made Joshua inevitably follow the young man.

Flashback.

Joshua immersed himself in his dark room with the moon as his source of light.

Slowly his eyes felt heavy until the man was lulled in a dream.

Albert approached two boys who were sleeping in a sofa. The bodies of the two teenagers looked emaciated and lacking in nutrients.

The man stroked Kirania's head fondly and kissed her forehead gently and looked at Ellios who was sleeping in her dream.

A sincere smile rose on the man's face, inwardly he promised to take full care of them.

Albert went into Kirania's room to pick up a pillow and a blanket and took her to the living room. He slipped a pillow in Kirania's head slowly so as not to disturb her daughter's sleep.

And he put a pillow on the floor wrapped in a warm carpet and moved Ellios' thin body. Not forgetting to cover the bodies of the two.

The man entered his room to pick up his pillows and blankets and walked back to the living room. He immediately put his pillow next to Ellios and went to lay down there. Slowly drowsiness approached him and participated in exploring the dreamland.

"Well...Huh.. Damn the dream again." Annoyed while glancing at the working hours he was in the office which showed at 6 am.

Soon the man went to clean his apartment, after which he immediately headed to the bathroom to clean himself.

Moments later he came out of the bathroom fresher and immediately headed to the closet to pick up his clothes.

As usual, a gray suit became his favorite, a plain shirt with dark gray color combined with black cargo pants with a shirt that matches his pants. Not to forget the sneakers are black and sunglasses perched sweet in the nose that is a little sharp.

When finished, Joshua immediately left his apartment on the 9th floor and walked casually to the elevator and pressed the 6th button.

"I can't wait to meet those two demons. I hope they're okay." The gum is in the heart.

Slowly the elevator door closed and moved down towards the 6th floor.

'TING'

The elevator doors opened and the handsome brunette immediately set foot into Albert's apartment unit located in unit 566. Soon he pressed down on a number of numbers and opened the door of Albert's apartment which was like a second home to him. The man stepped inside Albert's apartment and chirped.

"My sweet niece's kiran~!! This handsome uncle–" His chirp stopped instantly when he saw three bodies lying on the floor covered in fur rugs hugging each other.

Albert became the second pillow of the boy. Ellios's head was on Albert's belly with her legs resting on a pillow on the left side while Kirania's head was on Albert's chest with her legs on the couch on the right side. While the black-haired man with a few strands of bright blue ornaments was sleeping on his back with both arms hugging the bodies of the two boys.

With no sin Joshua took his cellphone and immortalized the rare moment and then returned to save his cellphone.

Albert opened his eyes and looked at Joshua who had been standing before him.

"What's wrong?" Albert asked in a distinctive hoarse voice waking up while rubbing his eyes that still felt a bit. The man felt his body heavy and was immediately startled when he saw the two boys sleeping soundly on his body.

"I just want to eat breakfast. You know, today I'm lazy to cook." Joshua's voice relaxed without burden making Albert snort.

"Can you wake these two boys? I can't move."

"Of course." Then Joshua immediately approached the two boys who were still sleeping on the body of his best friend.

Unexpectedly the brown-haired man immediately showered Kirania's face with a successful light kiss that made Albert fiercely glare.

"Hey! Don't kiss people's children!" Albert exclaimed furiously, but Joshua seemed deaf and continued his action.

"You've been considered my brother and your adorable son I've looked upon as my niece." His mouth lightly while continuing the action made Albert's head twitch annoyed. Yet...

'Plak'

Joshua halted his actions immediately and kept his face away from Kirania while holding his sore cheek as someone slapped him.

Albert shook his head because he wasn't the culprit.

"Papa, why are there so many mosquitoes here." Erang Kirania who felt his sleep disturbed with a distinctive hoarse voice woke up. He immediately sat down while rubbing his eyes and then stretched his body.

"The mosquito is right in front of you." Albert said while pointing at Joshua who was still faithfully holding his cheek.

"Morning, Uncle. Hoaam." Sapa Kirania as she looked at Joshua who was looking at her pouting.

"Morning, Kiran. Quickly wake your brother and get ready. I have some good news for you." Joshua said with a five-fingered smile, ignoring the numbness that was still felt on his cheeks.

"Damn, the power is very strong." Inner Joshua was horrified.
