Chapter 5: The Mother's Torture

Ellios sees Kirania busy playing with her beloved red-and-black teddy bear in the backyard, while all the Anderson family is gathered in the living room to wait for Damian and Joshua to arrive.

"Ran, aren't you welcome for the arrival of master Damian and master Joshua?" Ask Ellios curiously.

Kirania who heard Ellios question turned for a moment towards the 9-year-old boy then shook her head.

"They didn't tell me. I'd better stay here." Kirania plain that made 2 adults who stood not far from her grimace.

Ever since her head hit a few days ago, the attitude of the little girl changed slowly. His mouth began to spit out spicy words as well as his thoughts were more mature than his age. Kirania also became stubborn and bar-barous for the size of the daughter of a wealthy businessman.

Frankie and Albert disguised as Alex are only able to be moved and cry in the heart to see the change of Kirania. While Ellios could only look at the little girl who was like her biological sister with pity.

"There's no need to look at me with that kind of look." He said as he looked back at Ellios. He does not like to be pitied.

"You'd better join your family." Pinta Ellios while pulling the head of Kirania's favorite teddy bear, while Kirania who did not want her doll in snatched pulled the body of the red-black doll. There was an interesting attraction between 2 different gender children.

"I don't want to! Don't pull my doll!" Screeched Kirania while pulling the body of the puppet with all her might.

Ellios, who did not want to lose, pulled the doll's head as hard as she could and insisted, "Just meet or Mr. Derrick will be furious."

"No way!" Reject Kirania stubbornly while trying to pull her doll body.

"I beg you." Pinta Ellios while pulling the doll's head.

"No!"

'BRREEET!'

'Brukh' 'Brukh'

There was a terrible sound coming from the doll. They fell backward while holding the body part of the doll that had been separated. Ellios held onto the head of the doll and Kirania held onto the headless body of her doll, they both stared at the doll whose head had been separated from her body with different gazes.

Ellios stared with a guilty look and Kirania looked at her doll with a sad expression then looked at Ellios with a murderous gaze that managed to make the boy shudder in fear.

"I'm sorry, Ran. I didn't mean it." Tweet Ellios while standing with trembling legs. For the first time the boy saw Kirania was angry and it turned out to be very scary.

Ellios immediately ran when she saw Kirania chasing her with a duster from a maid there.

"Thank me, Ran!! I didn't mean it!!" Shouted Ellios while running away avoiding the tantrum of Kirania. The boy unconsciously stepped his small foot towards the living room.

"Sister Elli, stop!! Give me back my doll!!" Shouted Kirania as she chased after Ellios, one hand holding a bell.

Alex who saw the quarrel of the two boys just sighed resignedly while following them towards the living room. Alex accidentally saw the Anderson family welcoming Mr. Damian makes the young man feel like killing the married couple. But right now he wanted to stop the two boys who gave him a headache.

"Miss!! Ellie!! Please stop! Mr Damian is visiting! Please don't fight here!" Alex cried, but unfortunately the two boys seemed deaf and still running.

"I don't know him, uncle! My doll is more important than a man named Damian!" Said Kirania lightly without stopping the chase event made Alex twitch annoyed.

Without warning Alex immediately caught the two boys and held their back collars like carrying the nape of a cat caught stealing fish.

"Down us, uncle!" Shouted Ellios while thrashing.

"Don't treat us like cats, uncle! Lower us!" Maki Kirania while crossing her arms made Alex exhale in frustration.

Joshua and Damian could only cengo see Alex's behavior towards the two boys and said, "Her partner Ran is very familiar with the maroon-haired boy."

"That's right, Old Man. They're like dogs and cats." Joshua chuckled while looking at the scene.

The night came so fast, Damian and Joshua had left the Anderson residence a few hours ago.

Kirania was eating dry bread when she saw Helena entering her room with a cold look. The boy's thin body trembled in fear when he saw the arrival of the woman who was none other than his own biological mother.

The woman did not expect the birth of the little girl because of her past mistakes, she once raped a minor boy until the child was nearly dying from her torment. Especially when she found out she was pregnant and intended to abort her, but was prevented by Damian. When Kirania was born, her face was so similar to that of a teenage boy that the Anderson family began to ignore her for thinking the little girl was a disgrace since she was four years old.

Helena's little heart feels guilty for Ran and the teenager, but the ego trumps everything. Moreover, the public only knows he has 2 children.

Her in-laws also often told them to take her to the orphanage, but they both refused and were more than happy to torture the little girl who knew nothing.

Cigarette shavings, punches, kicks, even other violence have been a daily meal for Ran since the little girl was 4 years old.

No one wanted to help her, even Emillia also often bullied the little girl who was her own biological sister.

Helena saw Ran curled up in fear only to be able to smile humbly and then walked over to her.

"You shouldn't have much behavior, son of a bitch! I should have aborted you back then if my father hadn't prevented me!" Bump Helena while pushing Ran's frail body to fall down.

Helena then grabbed Ran's hair and smashed it to the floor making the poor little girl's head bruised reddishly. Kirania could only cry in pain.

After being satisfied to vent her frustration, Helena immediately came out leaving Ran crying in pain without realizing anyone was paying attention to her actions.

Ellios who had noticed Helena's actions from the door decided to approach Ran and embrace him.

"Ran, brother is here. Don't cry anymore, brother please..." Shrill the boy while stroking Ran's back gently. Hope his actions can ease Ran's cry.

Ellios doesn't understand why Ram is being treated like a life partner by his own family. The boy did not dare to stop the Anderson family's actions to the poor little girl considering that his mother had lost her life while trying to stop the Anderson family's crazy actions a year ago.

When Ellios was about to approach Ran to apologize, she saw Helena entering Ran's room. Out of curiosity he decided to peek out from the front door and his eyes widened in shock upon seeing the woman's behavior.

Ellios decides to go into hiding and calls Alex who happens to be walking towards her and asks for help to treat Ran after telling her what she saw earlier.

Ran's slow crying stopped to coincide with the arrival of Alex who was carrying a basin of warm water and a small towel. Quickly the young man took Ran who was asleep in Ellios' arms and carried the frail body of the 7-year-old little girl towards the small bed that only fit one adult.

Patently the young man with the face of the sangar compressed a bruise on Ran's forehead. Albert's whole life had never seen the insanity of the Anderson family. The young man could only pray that the bad life that befell Kirania would soon end.

Ellios could only watch Alex's activities in silence. He did not understand the reason the Anderson family treated Kirania so badly. In his heart the boy promised to protect the little girl.
