Derrick and Emillia looked at Joshua and Kirania in shock then they normalized their expressions quickly.

"Sorry, we're late." Derrick diverted the mood and stole a glance at Kirania. The hair looked familiar but he forgot to look at it somewhere.

"Please sit down." Aretha told them to sit down, which was directly obeyed by Derrick and Emillia.

"Include me, I'm Aretha Arathena. Owner of Athena Group company and they are the higher-ups in my company." Aretha introduced herself.

"I'm Roy Keane, owner of the Eagle hotel that's working with this restaurant."

"I'm Arabella Octavia, secretary of Miss Aretha."

"Ren Kertapati, head of the security bureau under Athena Group."

"Joshua Alandero Mahardika, the head of the hospital under the auspices of the Athena Group."

"Albert Fernando Mahesa, owner of Draka restaurant under the auspices of Athena Group." Said Albert flat.

"Who are these two teenagers?" Derrick asked looking at them curiously and intensely.

"They're my kids." Albert answered briefly and glanced at them. "Include yourself." He told the two teenagers.

"I am Kirania Fernando Mahesa." Kirania said briefly with a flat expression.

"Ellios Dirgantara Mahesa." Ellios introduced herself briefly.

Emillia looked at Ellios with a look of disbelief, but as she glanced at Joshua, her eyes froze as if remembering the deceased uncle.

Emillia is not familiar with Joshua because of the background of the man who is limited to Helena's adoptive sister who is ignored by their family. Even his grandfather Damian used to curse the man more than to speak nicely with him.

As her gaze turned towards Kirania, she immediately recalled Ran whom she had tortured to death. The girl's hair was the same color as Ran's, yet Kirania looked extremely beautiful and elegant with an ideal body and that beautifully groomed hair that successfully made her feel envious and rivaled. Unlike Ran who is skinny unkempt.

Kirania smiled as she looked at Emillia's suddenly deathly pale face. He glanced at Derrick who was also pale-faced as he glanced towards Joshua and towards him but the man managed to regain his grip and cleared his throat.

"Ehem! My arrival here just wants to cooperate with Draka's restaurant." He said confidently.

"Formerly let's enjoy the dish as dinner before our main talk." Aretha broke off as a few servants entered the room carrying dishes and arranging them and left the room.

"Please enjoy the food." Aretha invited them and their guests to eat the dishes presented in front of them.

After finishing eating dinner, they now discussed their topic with a tense atmosphere enveloping the room.

"The restaurant is under the auspices of Athena Group and I leave this decision of cooperation to its owner, Albert Fernando Mahesa." Aretha's words firmly made the middle-aged man wrinkle his forehead.

"You should have arranged this cooperation, Miss. It's not your subordinates that look like a rookie." Said Derrick and looked down at Albert who was looking at him without interest. It seemed like the handsome man was getting bored from the look on his face.

"It seems you don't know clearly about this city, Mr. Anderson." Joshua was annoyed to look at his ex-sister-in-law. The man was very arrogant and often made people's companies suffer losses, so he could buy a bankrupt company to expand his business.

"If you have a business without the auspices of a giant company, then the company will experience destruction. This city is not like your city that was noticed by the government. The city is protected by powerful people who make the population want to avoid armed conflict and suffer losses on it, both financially and otherwise." Roy explained at length.

"If you object to the advice of Miss Aretha, you may leave now." Albert's cold speech made the middle-aged man annoyed.

Derrick tried to calm himself down and glanced at Emillia who was staring at Ellios and Albert without a blink. He thought back to their words and agreed.

"I guessed it." Inner Ellios and Kirania were compact then she glanced at Albert whose gaze seemed to want to freeze people.

"Cohahaha!! Look at the look of that girl who was like a fool, hahahaha!!" Suddenly Aulolis' laughter echoed in the red-spirited young man's head which instantly made him glance at Emillia who was fixated making Ellios goosebumps.

"Be quiet, you fucking lion! I am not going with the snake. He used to torture my beloved sister to death and now he wants to be my fiancee?! Not wanted!!" Shouting Ellios through telepathy made Aulolis laugh again.

"Well, whoa... He's so greedy. Looking at the 2 ugly men alone his eyes had already glared wanting to come out." Ganymede's voice echoed in Kirania's head making the girl snort.

"What's so good about that weathered bujang and that chatty guy? Even though they are handsome, but I'm sure he will kill himself after getting to know them, ahaha..." Kekeh Kirania through his telepathy.

"Pff... I wonder why the man who tortured you is not ashamed, ckck."

"Because the veins have broken off, maybe." Reply Kirania origin.

"Sorry, Sir. I don't want to get engaged and I already have 2 kids that I need to be happy with." Rejecting Albert raw while embracing Kirania and patting Ellios on the shoulder made Derrick and Emillia look at him in disbelief.

"Don't you need a wife to take care of your needs and a mother for them?" Derrick tried to persuade Albert.

"I don't need a wife to take care of my needs. My own daughter is already able to take care of the house well." Albert's reply was emphatic which left Derrick at a loss for words while Joshua held back his laughter.

"Aren't you young and unmarried?" Derrick asked when he saw the man's finger not pinned by the ring, making him feel like he was winning.

"It's none of your business."

"So they're just your foster kids? Too bad you turned down this match for their sake." Sinis Derrick then glanced at Ellios who was now staring at him flatly.

"What if you betrothed your adopted son to my daughter?"

"What about you, Ell? You want to accept this match?" Albert asked flatly and glanced at the red-haired youth at a glance.

"No. I don't like troublesome things." Flat reply. Derrick looked at Albert and Ellios with emotion.

"This cooperation can be done without matchmaking, sir." Aretha mediates those who are now in dispute. But Derrick looked at them angrily as his plea was rejected outright by Albert.

"If you make a match, then you can benefit more." Sinis Derrick did not accept while Emillia put on a hateful face addressed to Kirania which was immediately realized by them.

"Without any matchmaking you can work together, Mr. Anderson." Albert replied firmly.

Immediately Derrick got up and stood looking at them with overflowing anger. All this time he never failed to persuade his client, but this time he was rejected outright by a beginner? It's a shame, Derrick thought.

"Then I cancel the cooperation with you. Emillia, let's go." Derrick said as he held Emillia's hand and got out of there in a hurry. Confidently the middle-aged man thought that they would beg while chasing after him. But his hopes were dashed when he found out they were not chasing or calling him by pleading when the middle-aged man arrived at the restaurant parking lot.

"Damn it! They humiliated me!" Furious Derrick pissed.

"Dad, don't worry. I'll get them to work with us." Emillia confidently made Derrick turn to his only daughter.

"How do you do it?"

Emillia smiled obliquely and whispered something in her father's ear making the man sneer cunningly.

"Do it, Emillia."

"Of course, Dad. Trust me."
