Chapter 46: When Caterpillars Act

"What?! Kiran humiliated you?!" Said Steve.

"really. He's been cheating on me all this time. I am his best friend, hiks..." Aqueera complained to Steve while letting out crocodile tears to make the young man pity him.

"He tricked you? Has he not considered you a friend? You don't know yourself." Maki Steve was upset then looked at Aqueera softly, "Don't worry, after this incident she must have regretted and cried begging you."

"I'm fine, Steve." He replied with a hiccup while wiping away the tears flowing down his cheeks.

"You're very kind, Aqueera. He's lucky to have a best friend like you, but unfortunately he doesn't appreciate your kindness."

"I'm also sorry I wanted to be his best friend." Aqueera's reply with a persecuted look made Steve look at the girl sadly.

"That's it. I'll decide right now. Dating him makes me sick." Steve's words growled making Aqueera smile happily on the sidelines of her bombay cries.

Steve picks up his phone and searches for Kirania's contact, then he sends a message and blocks the girl's contact. After that he put his phone in his pants pocket.

"I loved you a long time ago, Aqueera. Will you be my girlfriend?" Steve asked as he looked at the girl deeply.

Aqueera nodded happily while smiling sweetly making Steve flowery instantly. The two of them forgot about the annoyance at Kirania without noticing the pair of eyes looking at her in disdain.

"Look at the couple, Petra. They seek to profit from a relationship. Moreover, the woman is the type who is not loyal and looks like a caterpillar. Don't get close to him." Say a voice in Petra's head.

"I know. He looks like a poisonous snake. The son of a money-hungry couple with a meddling family is disgusting." Reply Petra.

"It looks like the girl who was the victim was the ice man's container. If I see you again, I can't wait to laugh at him." The scream of the voice made Petra exasperated.

"Just celebrate later. You're making my head goosebumps." Ketus Petra is irritated and settles down on a lush mango tree.

"I heard he was suspended by that paplang-moustached teacher. I want to go out there and laugh at Ganymede as much as I can. Ahhaha!"

"Shut up." Petra growled while closing her eyes.

"I bet if that guy's gonna send you a breaking statement message." Ganymede's words suddenly caused the concentration of Kirania to collapse.

"Just have to break up, anyway. Do you want to get hurt and go crazy for it? Remember, heartache has no cure and you're sorry you cried for it." Omel Ganymede with a pushy tone made Kirania smile. If his words are true then he will be free to do whatever he wants.

Kirania was watching the anime on her phone while lying in the room before a message from Steve was plastered on her phone screen.

"We broke up." Such was the sound of the message that instantly made Kirania squeal happily.

"Finally he has decided on me!! I'm finally free!!" His roar that made 2 adult men busy talking in the living room distract him.

"Looks like he's happy. Did someone break up with their boyfriend like that?" Albert asked, sipping his drink.

"Eitherway. Usually they will turn into fools who are more stupid than fools." Joshua's reply made Albert glance at the dark brunette man.

Kirania appeared to her room with an excited look on her face making the 2 men furrow their eyebrows. Did the incident make the girl's brain shift?

"Today you look happy. Did you just have a girlfriend?" Temptation Joshua.

"No, tuh. I just broke up with him." Her speech is flowery.

"Usually a heartbroken woman will cry for days in her room and do things crazier than crazy." Joshua's lips that pissed Kirania off.

"So I had to cry and wail and come up to him and beg him not to end his relationship with me? Come on Uncle, I'd better go out with you guys then." His successful relaxed reply made the 2 adult men spout his drink.

Kirania immediately headed to the refrigerator located in the kitchen to pick up her favorite drinks and snacks and returned to the room to read a book.

"Who dares to dump you?" Albert asked in a murderous tone as soon as his daughter walked past them. Albert's words made Kirania stop her steps and look at the father who seemed to want to beat people up.

"From Papa's tone it looks like you want to slam him." Kirania was on target and continued, "His name is Steve, son of the CEO's assistant, Pa. I didn't like him and he forced me to be his girlfriend. For pity, I accept it. Thanks to that I received valuable information from him." Kirania continued to relax without burden making them sweatdrop.

Meanwhile, 2 adult men exchanged glances and exhaled simultaneously.

"I'm Emillia Anjelina Anderson." Say a pretty girl with honey brown hair. Those brown eyes looked at Ellios and Antares alternately as he extended his hand.

"Eh." Ellios replied indifferently and ignored Emillia while Antares just kept quiet and welcomed the girl's helping hand without saying anything making Emillia awkward.

Ellios and Antares observed the streets that were suddenly quieter than usual. Not a single vehicle passed by on this beautiful afternoon making them suspicious.

"I'm sorry for their behavior, Emillia. They're a little shy." Reply to a woman wearing a tight dress sepaha red with a low cleavage and heels 5 inches while approaching the girl.

"Did you not introduce yourself?" Xeon asked while embracing the woman who had always been attached to her, none other than Irene making them both careless.

"Hey, Ell it looks like there's something interesting in there." Antares said, pointing somewhere. He saw a bicycle lying there.

"And end up chasing the masses? Don't joke, asshole." Ketus Elliott. Because of that young man he was chased by a group of thugs and ended up cleaning the house overnight.

"Not that, you fool!" Antares said angrily as he shook Ellios' red head which immediately got an upset sigh. "Look, there's a man in uniform with a firearm approaching us." He said as he watched the men in uniform walk closer to them.

"About? I'm tired of fighting with them. Can I just take a break?" Ellios' frustration made the three of them look at them in surprise.

"Darling, how is this. I'm scared." Irene's pampered whine makes Antares and Ellios squawk her lazy eyes.

"Anyway or do you want to fight with them?" Sinis Antares is upset.

"Can you guys be nice to Irene just once?!" Jerking Xeon at the 2 men made them upset.

"You guys always follow me and it's sickening." Cynical Ellios reply.

"We're just running, Irene." Xeon said softly.

"But what if you get caught?" Whimper Irene spoiled.

"Who are they?" Emillia asked as soon as she saw a group of people dressed specifically with firearms approaching towards them.

"Run fast!" Shouted Ellios and ran away from them. The four of them followed Ellios who had run first and now they were chased by a group of gunmen.

"Dear wait for me." Irene cried out in panic and tripped on her own legs so that her body fell down.

"Yeah!"

Xeon stopped her running and approached Irene who was grimacing in pain.

"You okay?" He asked worriedly while helping her stand up.

"My feet hurt a lot." Ringice. While the men in uniform were getting closer to their whereabouts and Xeon immediately carried Irene and ran after her friends.

Emillia who was not used to running decided to stop to catch her breath. He who has only lived 6 months in this lawless city is still adapting to the atmosphere of this city.

While Ellios and Antares stopped and looked at the people in uniform standing in front of him while holding a firearm. Apparently this place has been surrounded.

The two of them immediately put up the horses and turned their backs, taking out their beloved weapons. Ellios with her whip and Antares with her boomerang.

"You won't be able to escape. Prepare to die!" Call one of them while holding a firearm.

"Are you sure?" Ellios asked grinning while playing her thorny whip.

"Hey, motherfucker! Let's get them!" Antares with spirit.

"Yes!"
