Happy reading!
The atmosphere in the restaurant began to be crowded because the sound of Almira moans was increasingly loud to attract the attention of some visitors to get closer.
"Sir, is that why his brother?" One of the visitors asked me.
"I don't know myself, but he was fine." I pretended not to know and turned back to look at Almira who continued to groan in pain.
"Almira, what's wrong with you?" I still continued acting while putting on a face full of shock over what had happened to Almira. Yeah, of course I don't seem to know what's going on with my sister right now.
Now I can see sweat start dripping from my twin sister's forehead. He was seen squeezing part of his stomach with his face starting to pale. "My stomach is suddenly cramped, brother. Oh, it hurts!" Almira groaned in pain until the green veins on her forehead began to stiffen, indicating that the pain she felt was truly overwhelming due to the effect of the medicine I deliberately put into her drink.
I quickly called the waiter and paid the bill of our order. After that, then, I asked a male servant to help me move Almira out of the restaurant and how surprised I was to find out that the driver who was driving me was still waiting right in front of his parked car in front of the restaurant entrance.
"It turns out he didn't go and wait for me," my mind still didn't expect.
"Why is it, Mom?" The driver approached me with an anxious face. He immediately took over Almira's body from my power and helped a male servant to get Almira into his car.
"Don't know why? But, it looks like he's food poisoning. We need to get to the hospital, sir."
After successfully laying Almira's body in the middle seat of the car and sitting in the front seat next to the steering wheel, the driver who until now still did not know his name was immediately forward his car. Leaving the lobby of the restaurant at a fast pace. I stared at Almira many times. He continued to moan in pain while holding his stomach and just then, somehow the guilt suddenly plagued my mind.
"Sir, can it be faster? This is my sister in pain." I tried to calm Almira down while asking the driver to drive the car faster.
"Yes, Mom. This I've been trying to speed. Have patience, Mom. Soon we reached the hospital," replied the driver who looked as panicked as I was hearing Almira's agonizing cry saying she could no longer bear the pain she felt.
"Mira, you're patient! You need to be strong, we'll be in the hospital soon."
"But I'm not strong, brother. I think I almost died. Help me, Brother …."
Almira's cry really freaked me out half to death and couldn't think quietly. Even when the car stopped due to the red light, I asked the driver to break through it. Seeing that Almira was in tremendous pain, I became heartless.
I stretched my hand back and grabbed Almira's hand, then grasped it tightly. That's all I can do to calm her down.
After traveling for almost 20 minutes, the car stopped right on the IGD page of a hospital.
"Sir, let's get down and help me get my sister inside!" I told you to get out of the car.
The driver and I immediately grabbed Almira's body. Our arrival was immediately greeted by a nurse who quickly laid Almira's body in a gurney and pushed her into the IGD room. There was a feeling of fear at that moment that started to ambush my heart. But I try to keep my heart firm that this is the best. At least I keep praying that Almira is okay, even though she had a miscarriage.
"I don't want to make my brother die. I beg God to save him. Anyway, she's my sister. So, I want him safe." I just said that in my heart as I kept staring at the departure of Almira's gurney until it was no longer visible to my eyes.
