Happy reading!
After finishing taking care of all the administration for the handling of Almira in this hospital, the nurse also told the doctor who handled my sister wanted to see me. Not wanting to waste time, I immediately followed the steps of the nurse to enter a room not far from the operating room.
A tall man in a white suit, a doctor, invited me to sit down as soon as I arrived in his presence. For a moment he looked at my face closely and a few seconds later he smiled kindly at me.
"Is the patient named Almira Mom's twin sister? You two are so similar, you know, after I noticed you didn't make any difference?" The doctor asked me that question to unravel my anxiety, and then he wrote something in a book.
"Yes, Doc. I'm Mira's twin sister. How's my sister doing, Doc?" It's undeniable that I really feel anxious. Of course I don't want to if Almira dies with the child in the womb. The thing from the beginning was not my goal because I only wanted to drop the contents that were often used as weapons by Almira to threaten me.
"Look, Mom. Your sister is bleeding. The contents cannot be saved. She had to be locked up immediately to clean her uterus. We need the consent of the patient's family." The doctor thrusts a piece of paper and shows the part that must be signed. "If you agree, please sign in this section!"
I read through the letter of approval. Without hesitation, I signed it. Then, I handed the paper back to the doctor who treated Almira.
"Do your best for my sister, Doc!" I pleaded before the Doctor with teary eyes. I'm not saddened by Almira's miscarriage, I'm sad to see her in such pain.
"Good, Mom. We will try our best. Then now please take care of the admistration first so that we can immediately take action on Ms. Almira."
"I finally succeeded. Now there will be nothing more that Mira can use as a weapon to threaten me. Oh my God, I'm sorry I did all this, but you should know, it's all her mother's fault, if she's willing to follow my orders and doesn't bid much for that child to be alive today." I continued muttering in my heart as I continued to step up, down the hospital corridor that was getting further and further away from the doctor's room.
I rushed back to the curettage room as directed by a nurse. Not long after, the flat object inside my bag rang. I immediately took it, saw the name Mas Denis listed there and had made me anxious.
"Did the driver tell Mas Denis what happened to Mira? That means, Mas Denis knows that I'm in the hospital right now. How'this? What if Mas Denis comes and he finds out that Mira is pregnant?" I felt anxious and hoped that Mas Denis would not come to the hospital to see Almira.
After a moment of silence and anxiety in my mind, I finally answered Mas Denis' call just before the last ringing.
"Hello, Mas," I said, beginning the conversation with Mas Denis, albeit hesitantly.
"Darling, said Mr. Gavin, you took Mira to the hospital? What's actually going on? And, how's he doing now?" ask Mas Denis who sounded very worried about Almira's condition.
"What the hell is this Denis? The one being asked was Mira instead of worrying about me. Is this the form of an inner relationship between Mas Denis and his future son?" my mind grumbled inwardly.
