The Meeting of Elders II
Two days earlier, elder Huang had given an invitation to a meeting to Zhen Yuan. He said at the meeting of elders was a meeting held by the Main elders and High elders.
Since most of the pill production came from the elder factions made them the ones in charge of managing the pill and its expenditure. For this reason, the discussion of pill management will be discussed through elder meetings held 3 to 5 times a year.
Zhen Yuan initially did not want to attend the meeting but considering that he was still not long ago a High elder then he had to show a bit of courtesy to the other elders.
The meeting was conducted on a large hall with many chairs forming a circular line complete with the names and ranks of the elders. When Zhen Yuan entered the room, there were already dozens of seats filled.
Zhen Yuan moved towards his position of being the 98th elder, being at the very back. He was quite surprised to find that elder Sazi and Patriarch Yiqian had come first and occupied the 99th and 100th positions.
“Zhen Yuan, I did not expect you would come today.” Patriarch Yiqian smiled cunningly.
“Abviously I can't come? Why does patriarch Yiqian look so happy to see me here, not as usual”
“Of course I am happy, with you attending the elders meeting then it means that the original Soul Essence Pill recipe will soon be owned by everyone” this time patriarch Yiqian laughed out loud.
Zhen Yuan's eyes narrowed, he glanced at Elder Sazi who was smiling faintly. “Oh so this special meeting was held because of me? Haha... I am very flattered, I look forward to it happening” But Zhen Yuan's attitude turned relaxed as if not afraid of Yiqian's words.
“Laugh! Because soon your advantage as a High elder will end” Yiqian scoffed. Zhen Yuan did not take it lightly, he waited for the other high elders to arrive.
“Thank you for coming to the elders meeting this time. Unlike the previous meeting, this time we will discuss about the recipe of the Soul Essence Pill.” said the leader of the main elder.
“As we know that the Soul Essence Pill recipe has been proven by Master Dan Jian the truth has also been made directly by master Zhen Yuan. Yet when everyone tried to refine it, none of them could successfully create a Soul Essence Pill except the master Zhen Yuan.”
“Because master Zhen Yuan is here, then we should ask directly whether the recipe of the Soul Essence Pill is true or there are some incomplete parts and cause our failure to purify it!”
Thanks to the Main elder's words, all gazes were now fixed on the figure of the purple-robed young man. Getting such a view, Zhen Yuan smiled faintly then said “That's right, the recipe is not at all wrong”
“But why can't we purify the Soul Essence Pill while you can?” reply one of the main elders.
Zhen Yuan shrugged his shoulders indifferently, “Pill Soul Essence is not an indiscriminate pill that can be made by careless people let alone those who do not have competence in the field of alchemists. It is possible that your failure in purifying the pill is caused by your own mistakes or indeed you do not have the ability to do so.”
The elder was furious at Zhen Yuan's words. “You said you have more expertise in alchemists than I do? Bullshit!”
The leader of the main elders again spoke, “Master Zhen, you are currently the high elder of the pill palace. It would be nice if you shared some information regarding the Soul Essence Pill with us right now. This is for the sake of the pill palace you serve!”
