The old man served it at the dining table before going up and waking them all up. He said weakly and rusefully, “The meal is done! Please guests to taste it before cool”
Since the old man was also a true Mortal layer cultivator, he had been able to send telepathic messages at all of them. Hearing the word food, their stomachs immediately sounded. Maybe the effects of the soy sauce, they're all starving.
Zhen Yuan immediately got a telepathic message from the Little Lion and told him everything he saw to the young man. Hearing him, Zhen Yuan's appetite disappeared replaced by an increasingly strong sense of alert. He quickly sent a telepathic message not to eat the dish to all of them.

“Why? Don't you like this dish?” The old man was not happy to see that none of them had eaten his cooking.
“We thank you for your attention and for being troublesome. But we are still full and need to rest for now” Zhen Yuan immediately conveyed his refusal.
Hearing Zhen Yuan's refusal, the old man grew even more displeased. But he still begged to taste the cuisine a little to appreciate it that has been bothered to cook at night.
“From the beginning we never asked for dishes to be prepared, therefore we will return to rest” Zhen Yuan said firmly. He left the dining table with the others.
But before they went any further, a strong energy was felt and attempted to pull them back. Zhen Yuan immediately gave the order to use their full strength against the energy.
Six powerful energy explosions came and destroyed the energy that attracted them. Zhen Yuan and the others turned their heads, they found that the hunchback old man had turned into a middle-aged man with a sinister face.
All of them were shocked except for Zhen Yuan and the Little Lion, they even smiled faintly sensing the strength of the old man had risen drastically and touched the Mortal Peak realm. Panic was seen on the faces of the three Zhen Yuan followers, they had initially weakened the old man, but now they realized that the old man could kill them easily.
“Son, it seems that you two have known my true strength and intentions before this” The old man knew that Zhen Yuan was the one who reminded them all and he also knew his true intentions. Therefore he was very upset and angry at Zhen Yuan.
“You can even still insult me after seeing my strength, Mortal Peak?” the man frowned, he was astonished by the attitude of Zhen Yuan and the others.
“Only Mortal Peak? If you were a Saint sage of the initial layer then maybe we would be terrified to see you” this time Little Lion replied.
The man thought they were all unafraid because he thought he was just bluffing. After all the strength of Zhen Yuan was only a layer 5 cultivator whereas the Little Lion was only a layer 8. His strength was much higher than all of them.
“Hahaha then I will force you to eat the food I have painstakingly cooked!” The man let out his aura, he then charged towards Baisheng who was the weakest person there.
“It's not that easy!” Zhen Yuan immediately activated the teleportation formation that was on his body then moved in front of Baisheng. He immediately activated the power from the third floor of the heavenly pagoda which was a powerful defense. A wall of exposure appeared in front of Zhen Yuan and blocked the man from approaching.
His attack hit the transparent wall and shattered just like that when Zhen Yuan activated his formation. The man immediately jumped back in fear if the formation also attacked him.
Seeing that his attack was unsuccessful, the man tried to find a new target. This time he glanced at the Little Lion who was trying to protect the three elders, thus he obtained his new target.
“Most Hook Nail!” The man used the Mortal technique he had. The long hook came out from the ground and shot at full speed between the small lion's sidelines making him unprepared to dodge.
The three elders who were behind him immediately gave support, they fused together the strength and used their Mortal strength to help the Little Lion. Although unable to destroy the technique from the man, but the three managed to interfere and make the direction of the hook change a few centi.
The Little Lion made use of the gap to jump and make his body curl in the air avoiding the fishing line, so the attack from the man once again did not hit the target. He intended to retract his attack, but dear the Whispering Rhinoceros that was behind bit his fishing hook and pulled it with Heavenly power.
The man was immediately attracted and fell to his knees due to the heavenly power of the horned rhino. Not throwing away the golden opportunity, Elder Bai activated his strongest attack that was the illusionary world. The man fell into the illusionary world created by elder Bai.
