“Two please sit!” Frander had prepared another chair in line with the leaders of the plains. The atmosphere was a little awkward when he came, even the five of them no longer sent each other jokes and jokes made the event a quiet one.
Zhen Yuan was not bothered because he had been sitting in one of the guest chairs that was not too flashy after all he was a little suspicious of the elder and his five followers.
Frander immediately asked the dancers and music players to enter the room so as not to be too quiet. But before he could search for it, the elder had spoken which kept him from twitching.
“Zheng Cho, congratulations on becoming a Wise Cultivator, I hope that in the future we can work together to build the Bandit Desert Plains into the best plains among other Plains.”
Zheng Cho who was drinking wine choked with shock. He and Frander glanced at each other.
“He doesn't seem to want to let us go! What should we do now?” Frander's panicked.
“I am also confused, because our agreement to him has been completed after the existence of a True Wise cultivator in the Bandit” Desert Plains
Zheng Cho and Frander sent each other telepathic messages, they both looked for ways to keep the elder from being offended. Then Zheng Cho glanced at the middle-aged man closest to him among the 4 plain leaders present.
“Brother, can you help me to talk to the elder?” zheng Cho asked by telepathy. The man seemed to understand Zheng Cho's predicament, he then agreed to help.
“I thank the elder for still thinking about us even after our agreement is done” Zheng Cho said with a laugh.
“Truely, I am flattered by the actions of the elder, what a noble heart. We will never forget all the services that the elders rendered on the Bandit” Frander Desert plateau chimed in.
The look on the face of the elder changed hearing the words of the two. He then slammed the table in front of him and made a big noise. The performers and dancers inside the hall were shocked and stopped.
“What do you mean? It seems we never talked about this. After all I have no intention of leaving the Bandit” Desert plain the elder said slowly.
But the intense pressure immediately held him back and made him fall on the floor. “Who told you to go?!” the elder said quietly while playing the drink cup in his hand.
With that the atmosphere became tense, Frander even cold sweat felt that pressure. He was sure the elder could kill him easily on the spot.
“Tua really likes to joke! Frander, how could the elder forget our agreement! He must have remembered if our agreement would end after we get a Wise” cultivator Zheng Cho to try to calm down and laugh so that the atmosphere would not be too tense.
The elder squinted his eyes and looked at Zheng Cho sharply. Zheng Cho and Frander attempt to frame him and say the agreement is before the other 4 leaders of the plains.
With a smile he said. “Betul, I remember it clearly. After all it was just a normal agreement, where maybe I cut off the relationship that I have lived for many years just because of a letter”
But his years of experience have given him the ability to lick his tongue. He may be cornered and must admit some but not all.
“In addition the agreement has been very long, I am not sure if we still keep it” he said while showing a triumphant expression.
But at that moment, a scroll appeared in front of the table. “Quietly, we have saved it well” Zheng Cho gives a hard resistance. They wanted to know what else the elder would say to deny it.
The elder suddenly put on a sad face. “Do you really want this and get everything ready? We can exterminate the letter and make an eternal cooperation letter”
At this moment, a new voice sounded. “But to be a disciple of the Lieutenant, you must honor your word and promise. Now 2 of the 4 leaders present have said the same thing. The elder looked at him sharply, he did not expect the 4 leaders to cooperate and fight him today. He realized that if it wasn't for his teacher, a top-tier lieutenant and being the overseer of the 10 plains perhaps they wouldn't have bothered to visit him.
