“Patriark Nan, forgive me” said the grand elder Bei before he jumped towards the unfinished Heima.
“I'll drag you dead together!” the grand elder arrived near Heima then activated another forbidden move he had. Heima only realized when his opponent had turned into thousands of water balls the size of a football.
Thousands of balls hit Heima and began to hurt him severely until the last water ball, the horse received more than 100 wounds on his body.
Patriarch Nan let out a sad cry seeing the final ball explode, another layer 2 cultivator of the Ciao family was gone.
Heima was very angry to see the wounds on his body, but then he laughed loudly. “Hahaha... I didn't think he was so desperate and blew himself up. If he did it in front of human cultivators then it was certain they would be killed but I am the mighty Earth Horse, he said, he will not be able to kill me by blowing himself” Heima mocked the decision of grand elder Bei.
“Dark ape, I will attack the city first. You have fun with him while I will avenge hundreds of years ago” Heima said as he moved towards the increasingly ravaged city of Ciao.
Each step carries a vibration that is not inferior to small earthquakes. In one kick, the city's towering and sturdy main door shattered. The destruction of the main door signifies the slaughter commencing.
Meanwhile Patriarch Nan had no other choice, he destroyed the jade token that was on his waist then summoned the entire Soul cultivator that the Ciao clan possessed.
Originally, Patriarch Nan had everyone escape, only left behind soul cultivators inside the city to guard and defend their treasures and resources. But he knew that the entire Ciao family had not gone too far to escape and would definitely be captured and killed by Heima if found. By summoning the soul cultivators faster hoped that it would give the rest of the family a little more time to escape.
The Ciao family indeed deserves the name as the strongest city under the 5 kingdoms and Spring. Other than having former layer 3 soul cultivators, they had more than five lapsain 2 soul cultivators and dozens of early layer cultivators.
Other than Patriarch Nan, there were now 3 other layer 2 cultivators. Although they are weaker but the combined strength is enough to make Heima upset. The three managed to stop the destruction made by Heima and make the dark horse fight again.
“Let's combine our powers! we must help the patriarch to repel these two beasts” the elders who have arrived immediately unleashed their attacks helped to repel Da Yuan and Heima.
A great battle finally occurred, as many as dozens of soul cultivators attacked the 2 ferocious beasts with their full strength. Slowly, Heima and Da Yuan both got some injuries on their bodies which made the two of them even more cornered.
Eventually Da Yuan and Heima agreed to retreat before their manpower ran out, they had lived for hundreds of years and were very protective of their lives. Not wanting some accidents to happen, the two of them retreated and left Ciao town.
Some elders wanted to chase after them, but were immediately detained by Patriarch Nan. “No! You can die if you chase him. Better we recuperate before doing a more devastating battle than this”
Although Patriarch Nan was able to breathe smoothly for a while yet his heart was still very sick of the attack today. Making the two old monsters retreat, the Ciao family had to lose 20 soul cultivators, of which grand Elder Bei and 3 early layer cultivators entered. Such a loss would again weaken the strength of the Ciao family.
But yet they had no time to rest, 5 pieces of spirit carriage were seen from a distance, Patriarch Nan had a gloomy face looking at the 5 big city flags. None of them had a good relationship for the Ciao family.
“Prepare yourself, they have arrived earlier” said Patriarch Nan who has now stabilized his strength.
