The commander of Starry Night gave Du Lian and Qing Hongyun a chance to challenge back. This time they challenged the 90th rank. Since his rank was higher, then it was likely that this fellow was much stronger than the previous man.
Unlike the previous fight, this time Du Lian and Qing Hongyun had a hard time dealing with it. This was because the weapon used by his opponent was also a grade-4 weapon. His opponent was the strongest young elder in the Eternal Flora Alliance, which was the rank 10 alliance as well as the weakest among the 10 alliances by rank.
Despite coming from the weakest alliance yet he still showed quality as the strongest there was. Du Lian along with Qing Hongyun faced him with great difficulty. Unfortunately even with the force of the law, their innate weapons and talents could only fight a series.
Zhen Yuan held on slowly, “Both can only win if they break through to the fourth layer or understand the law perfectly”
The fight went on until then the auras of Qing Hongyun and Du Lian changed. Both performed miracles in the middle of the fight. Du Lian looked at Qing Hongyun and could feel that his partner was about to break through first therefore he told Qing Hongyun to retreat first and immediately achieve a breakthrough.
Du Lian released hundreds of poisonous needles towards his opponent. Soon the green tendril wall came and held hundreds of small needles, dear the tendril soon withered and dried so that it opened its defenses once again.
His opponent also sensed the momentum of Du Lian and Qing Hongyun, he could sense if the two managed to achieve a breakthrough then he would lose. That way he threw his strongest technique towards Du Lian while running up to Qing Hongyun to thwart his breakthrough.
“Sial!” Du Lian was troubled by his opponent's technique, it contained such a powerful anti poison that Du Lian was unable to quickly neutralize it with poison.
It was only natural that the strongest geniuses of the Eternal Flora alliance mastered anti-poison technics since they were the strongest among the other 10 alliances in the matter of refining pills. The five lotuses as if they had souls immediately shot towards the opponent who was currently about to touch Qing Hongyun.
“Danger! Leave your plans” The leader of the Eternal Flora alliance shouted alerting his young elder.
Hearing the shout from the leader, he quickly drew an attack and retreated sideways for 5 meters. Just as he was retreating, 5 lotuses darted in front of him and crashed into the pillar. The crushed pillar was struck by the lotus and let out a hissing sound.
What happened next, the pillar melted even after it was coated by a grade-4 formation. Everyone hissed in fear even his opponent was no exception. The strength of Du Lian made him afraid to imagine if he did not retreat in time then he would replace the pole into the afterlife.
Just like that Qing Hongyun changed, he managed to break through and exuded a mighty layer 4. On the other hand Du Lian crossed her line and finally chose to retreat and hand it over to Qing Hongyun.
Although it was not yet stable, Qing Hongyun's cultivation easily brought pressure on the opponent. At the end of the day he still continued to put up a fight until Du Lian also managed to recuperate a little and push her limits until she got a breakthrough as well.
Finally it was back in a 2-on-1 confrontation, which eventually the opponent did not dwell on the improvement of the two. Du Lian and Qing Hongyun were satisfied in this position. Actually they wanted to challenge the elders of position 70 or 65 but were immediately pushed aside when getting telepathy from Zhen Yuan.
