S3 - Shadow Thief Headquarters
Zheng Cho said, under his guidance, they arrived at the original Bandit Desert plains after going through a large formation controlled by Shadow Thieves.
They arrived at a very dark cave mouth. In front of him were only the remains of a burning torch. Of course when they appeared on the formation altar, five people wearing black robes covering their faces came and surrounded Zhen Yuan. Their aura was on par with a True Mortal cultivator.
It was only when they saw Zheng Cho that all five bowed respectfully and the suppressing aura between them immediately disappeared. “We salute Shadow” Chairman they said in unison.
Zheng Cho raised his hand, “I have a guest for some business, you guys back on guard”
After getting the orders from their chief, all five of them shot towards the grand formation which a second later they disappeared towards the small world.
Zheng Cho led them into the dark cave, Zhen Yuan and the Little Lion were at the front while the Big Dipper was at the back, they were keeping the three elders and Baisheng in the middle. Although Zheng Cho had them defeated and admitted to giving up but that did not mean they had to lower their guard. Moreover, they now entered into his territory.
“Is this the headquarters of one of the strongest forces of the Bandit Desert plains? You guys are really short of money or how?” Little Lion commented. Usually those who are the strongest power will use the vast and best land and build palaces or barracks to become their main headquarters.
“We live as thieves, how could we build a main headquarters in such an open place?” Zheng Cho replied.
“Alibi the nice” Little Lion was certainly not satisfied with the answer from Zheng Cho, his opinion the man was just looking for the right reason to cover their shortcomings. Zhen Yuan sent a telepathy to the Little Lion to stop arguing and told him to remain silent.
The Little Lion chuckled and apologized, he immediately closed his mouth and Zheng Cho also did not reply to the Little Lion's words so they walked back in silence.
Although the cave was extremely dark, they were all Mortal cultivators who no longer needed illumination in the dark places. They walked for quite a while until they found a branching road.
Zheng Cho explained that the two branched roads were just a diversion. “You mustn't approach the area because they are filled with trap formations even a Mortal Peak cultivator like me would be severely injured there”
Zheng Cho drained his Mortal energy then sent out several energy balls at the top corner of the cave. Immediately the energy was swallowed by the cave and caused the previously dark cave to now begin to glow brightly. Fireflies that can live for a thousand years just appear to bring beauty in the cave.
“You select one of the fireflies and then kill them with the energy you have. After that there will be a strong pull from the bottom of the cave, do not try to fight and feel it because it will take you to the original headquarters of the Shadow Thief.”
Soon Zhen Yuan and the others did as Zheng Cho mentioned. Sure enough when they killed the fireflies, all of them felt a super strong attraction from the bottom of the cave. Their bodies were swallowed up in the cave and disappeared as if they had never existed.
A second later, the attraction disappeared and they went back to being normal. Once they realized, they were no longer in the cave but in a vast plain filled with tall buildings. Many people were passing by around them and his strength was not weak either, even several times they found Mortal cultivators of layer 5 and 6.
This made the three elders dumbfounded, on the plains of the Origin Mortal cultivators did not even reach 100 people and those reaching layer 5 and above could be counted fingers. But here they can see him roaming freely like a commoner.
As for Zhen Yuan and the Little Lion, they had other concerns. The two looked at each other and communicated through telepathy.

“Not all small worlds will be used as teleportation places with other plains or islands. They will use other small worlds for their own world, just like the small world I have.” Zhen Yuan replied.
Usually they would make their personal small world for a secret power base other than that because it was obtained from heaven's reply for the failure of a Mortal cultivator to face the heavenly lightning making the resources contained within it unable to compared to the small world that comes from the blessings of heaven.
Moreover to make resources or enhancements from the independent magical world was to increase the strength of its owner like the way Zhen Yuan did.
