The center of the island turned out to be a mountainous region. Zhen Yuan only caught a glimpse yet it was probably composed of thousands if not tens of thousands of high mountains. It was as if the area became a pillar and a peg to the power of the Heaven Group Island. The area was given the name as the Island Center.
The residence of Wang Jian was located in a mountain range that had 5 mountains surrounding a sizable white palace. Of the five mountains, each has a residence on the summit and hundreds of dwellings at each foot of the mountain.
Wang Jian's group immediately dispersed into the five mountains while Wang Jian guided Zhen Yuan and the Demon Emperor towards the white palace in the middle.
“My residence can be said to be quite simple as an Island Protector, and I am not good at entertaining guests” said Wang Jian.
Zhen Yuan shook his head slowly, “If brother Wang's residence is so simple then the number one beauty on our plains is not worth mentioning.”
“Alright, let's go inside. Let's tell a story, it's been a long time I didn't get a story friend. Y'all know? The protectors of the Island are very ambitious and full of competition, I can't stand talking to them”

Zhen Yuan, the Demon Emperor and Wang Jian told me all night. From there a lot of information was obtained by Zhen Yuan from the Island Protector. For example, Wang Jian turned out to be one of the top 10 Island Protectors precisely he was the Protector to the 7th Island Heaven Group.
Although Wang Jian did not mention his specific strength, Zhen Yuan had investigated him using subtle spiritual energy and proved that Wang Jian was a layer 5 Sage cultivator. To have such power, he becomes the top Major if he is on the main island.
In the morning, Wang Jian escorted them to the registration. Zhen Yuan and the Demon Emperor followed, as they did not know the way and were still unfamiliar with the Central Island area.
“Being an Island Protector is a noble task. As we call it, the protectors of the Island have the main task to be a protector because most of the missions that exist are to protect the island and other things.” said Wang Jian on the trip.
Upon his arrival at the enlistment, Wang Jian said goodbye as he had to report his mission to the Mission Hall. Of course Wang Jian had shown him the way and summoned an elder who was there to replace him.
“You are here to register as Island Protector?” The elder asked to be sure.
Zhen Yuan nodded, “That's right!”
“Then follow me, actually you guys are the first registrar after the last 10 years. Somehow the number of registrants for Protectors has dropped in recent years” the man said.
Zhen Yuan and the Demon Emperor stared at each other, clearly they knew why. “Actually yesterday we came but two guards told us to wait all day outside. If only we hadn't met protector Wang, then we probably wouldn't have been here” Zhen Yuan told the truth.
The man was startled, immediately turning to Zhen Yuan. “Are you telling the truth? Goddamnit! Those guards just kept messing around, aren't they afraid if this is known to the other protectors?”
“Alright, forget that for now. You two sign up there immediately and take the exam” The man points to the registration place.
Overnight, Wang Jian had mentioned that after they signed up, there would be a test to find out if they were worthy of being protectors or not. There was no limit to cultivation, everything would be fine if his strength was equivalent to Early Wisdom.
Registration is quite easy, just listing the name and some basic identities. There was not even a question regarding techniques nor cultivation level making everything convenient. Of course there are columns for the skills you have. Zhen Yuan decided to write down if he was an expert in Formations and Pill.
There will be guards escorting the exam room. There were many examination rooms there, so that the Demon Emperor and Zhen Yuan could do it together in different rooms.
