The Third Round of the Young Elders Tournament
The island leader was quite pleased with his representatives, out of the 150 elders they managed to gather 23 elders including Zhen Yuan, Du Lian and Qing Hongyun. They were once again the second most after the Main Island which gathered 40 people followed by the Hell Screams and Fire Gods of 20 elders while below there was the Slave King and Moon Palace who also gathered 15 elders. The rest remain divided between the 5 alliances and the puppet power of the main island.
On the other hand Miss Seven as well as Chu Xingtian easily defeated her opponent without breaking a sweat, they were also top participants this time around with strength matching layer 9.
“The elders this time have qualified talents and skills! Some are even only 6 layers but are able to match layer 9. I can't want to see how the ranking of the elders ends” The first vice-captain said proudly.
“True, look how the grandson of vice-captain Yun dominated the battleground, even his opponent had no chance to put up a fight before being kicked out” the commander who was in the appearance of a laudatory scholar
However they were surprised to find vice-captain Yun not paying attention to his own grandson instead observing a young man from the Heaven Group alliance.
“Who is he? Looks like vice-captain Yun is interested in him” Commander Staryy Night asked. The young man in question was none other than Zhen Yuan.
Vice-captain Yun shook his head slowly when Zhen Yuan managed to defeat his opponent without even having to display many of the techniques he had.
“It seems like Maple worshiped the boy was still holding back” Vice Captain Yun felt a bit of satisfaction, at least his grandson was not defeated by a person equal to him.
But what Vice-captain Yun did not know was that Zhen Yuan managed to use his Water and Fire lotus so powerfully this time around as he accompanied it with a hidden grade-4 formation. This formation was suitable for increasing the power of the lotus to match a layer 8 cultivator. However due to the rudimentary lotus foundation, it had only reached the limit there, otherwise it was impossible that the lotus would be able to defeat a layer 9 cultivator as well.
“Du Lian, you must defeat him in one move when I use the full strength of Innate Talent” Qing Hongyun gave telepathy to his opponent facing strategy.
“Let's end!” Qing Hongyun stepped up, he unleashed his strongest technique along with his Innate Talent other than that the power of the laws he comprehended was almost reaching perfect making his strength monstrous.
The commander who was his opponent did not dare to take Qing Hongyun's attack lightly. He moved to close the gap before Qing Hongyun attacked him. It was a pity that a palm strike stopped him.
Du Lian's palm was green along with a dense green mist filled his battle arena. The commander who had experienced the fight with Du Lian did not dare to take directly his attack containing poison, was forced to move back and let Qing Hongyun finish his attack.
Du Lian retreated again when the commander retreated, he also had to immediately make the ultimate attack that was the mainstay of both. Qing Hongyun's attack only served as an initial attack and a diversion when Du Lian's attack shot towards the Commander.
Qing Hongyun's attack met with the commander's attack, soon a hot wind formed as a result of the meeting of the two powerful attacks. Unfortunately the commander's face changed feeling an equally powerful and more dangerous attack flying towards him.
He could not do much because he was restrained by Qing Hongyun, Du Lian got the commander's back without any protection, his attack of a thousand deadly poisons managed to make the commander paralyzed for a moment.
Although just that moment was enough to make Qing Hongyun throw him to the sidelines. The two women hugged and became more familiar as a result of the fight, they finally managed to escape in the second round by running out of energy.
Because the second round is carried out simultaneously making the second round shorter. Although many elders had managed to defeat the commanders, not a few had failed. Most of them were layer 4 and 5 who had not managed to defeat the commander of Lapsan 7.
Now in the third round only Zhen Yuan remained in the fourth layer while Du Lian and Qing Hongyun counted one in the third layer. In total there were 115 elders who managed to qualify for the third round.
