Ranking Determination

Meanwhile Zhen Yuan's rank was right at 80 and Du Lian's rank with Qing Hongyun was in line with everyone's estimation, being at the last rank.

Du Lian and Qing Hongyun looked at each other for a moment before moving, as his opponent gave them a chance first then they would take the initiative. Just like when facing the commander in the second round Qing Hongyun and Du Lian were attacking each other from different directions in turn.
They would cooperate like that to have a clear strength and estimate of their opponent. It is very important to know the strength of the opponent before really attacking.
Even so the two did not just attack because their respective strengths were on par with a layer 6 cultivator making the opponent also not consider them casually.
His opponent was an expert in melee combat, he used fists and kicks to crush Qing Hongyun and Du Lian's attacks.
