Zhen Family
Meanwhile a dark shadow entered the white palace belonging to the Zhen family. Although not as grand as the royal palace of Blue Moon, but still it was designed so attractive because it has a dome and hundreds of large pillars supporting.
The shadow slipped between the huge poles avoiding the watchful eye of the guards. He then managed to infiltrate into a room of one of the existing officials. Before long, the official came out while tidying up his collar and walked towards the family palace hall.
Just like the separation between the kingdom and the family, the Zhen family was led by a man with a cruel face. His aura that reached the Mortal Second layer realm was not hidden away making the officials inside the hall gain pressure. His name was Zhen Heimo
“Zhen Yuwen salutes the Patriarch!” the official entered the hall in a respectful manner and bowed so low before the Zhen family leader.
The patriarch of the Zhen family only replied to him with a cold snort, and the official immediately stepped aside from before him. The other official lowered his head, no one dared to raise his head in the hall. This was because Patriarch Heimo was known for his dictatorial and ruthless nature.
As for Zhen Yuwen, he was one of the 3 great generals of the Blue Moon kingdom as well as being the grand elder of the Zhen family.
Amidst the silence of the meeting hall, Zhen Heimo asked curiously to Zhen Yuwen. “Hmph, does the kingdom still want to capture Zhen Yuan? The child has even injured many elders that we have”
Zhen Yuwen nodded small, “Almost everyone agrees to arrest him. He was very young and had many magical techniques up his sleeves, if we catch him and manage to get all the techniques he has then it is not impossible that glory will come for us” his tone is very convincing as if everything has been in his grasp.
“While we are centered on Zhen Yuan, the damned demons out there will easily seize the opportunity to invade and take our territory, did the king not consider that?” heimo sounded a little sarcastic.
“We think about it too, but calm down. Prince Zhen Tian had managed to make a deal with the demon nation hence they had currently become allies of the Zhen family!” Zhen Yuwen still sounded optimistic.
But everyone inside the hall looked at him in shock and disbelief. “Can't be trusted! Palace let that bad thing happen!” However Heimo immediately released his anger.
For years, be it the kingdoms of Shen, Blue Moon and Iron Sand had decided to stand alone without any status from the family side. Therefore it is not surprising that in the Blue Moon kingdom there will be 2 leaders from the Zhen family, they are Kings and Patriarchs.
The king governed the whole kingdom without touching the limits set by the great family, while the family should not have any interference in the kingdom as long as they were not appointed as royal officials. Of course within the family, their supreme leader was the Patriarch.
Over the years and over many generations of the king family kept the Blue Moon family completely separated from the Zhen family. It was as if the Zhen family had split in two - the royal family and the pure family. In the royal family, the king's descendants might no longer be the pure blood of the Zhen family as it had experienced many intermarriage between officials. Even so, a pure family should still support the royal family as long as the heir to the throne is still the direct descendant of the incumbent king.
“Patriark, I know you have a personal grudge with the royal family but the kingdom has taken that decision with great advantage! Just think about it, now that the other 2 empires have faced such a powerful demon army, they might not be able to survive! While us? we don't even bother fighting and getting a part of their territory without any meaningful effort!” Zhen Yuwen retaliated.
Patriarch Heimo smiled cynically, “Do you think 2 kingdoms are stupid? They would definitely be suspicious if knowing only the Blue Moon kingdom did not get an attack!”
“Patriark, you think too much! I will inform you that the forces that attacked the two kingdoms were led by the 10 strongest demons to ensure victory and slaughter were exhausted!”
Patriarch Heimo stood up and was astonished, he really did not expect the information. If it was another demon then patriarch Heimo still thought that the two kingdoms would survive the attack but hearing the 10 strongest demons seemed like what Yuwen said was true. Even if the Blue Moon kingdom were to get the attack, he was only 50% sure of being able to achieve victory with all the might of the kingdom.
Yuwen smiled sinisterly looking at Heimo's shock. He then continued, “But Zhen Yuan is different, our eyes have found that Zhen Yuan is in the territory of Shen kingdom. Therefore we ask the demon nation to send 2 of their strongest demons at once to ensure the death of Zhen Yuan.”
Heimo can feel a few things, “Then why did the kingdom ask some of the elders of the Zhen family to look for the child if we had made sure to kill him?”
