There is satisfaction in Mike's heart seeing Alice slumped, Mike's arrogant attitude makes Alice sad. Mike likes her, she prefers to hurt the woman rather than hurt her physique, regardless if her actions really make Alice start to feel no longer confident.

Mike's goal in doing so is nothing but to hurt Esme. Through Alice, because of what Mike knows as a mother, of course Esme will feel the sadness experienced by her daughter, without Mike knowing if his actions to Alice, completely ignored by Esme. Mike forgets that not all mothers can be as kind to their children as his late mother.

"It's not much, Alice. You'll get a shock that's far more painful than you're feeling right now, I won't let you smile, I'll make you suffer for daring to enter my family's life." Mike stared from a distance, how Alice's face was holding back the grief.

Mike's tantrums this morning left a mark on Alice's heart, even the man threw an oath of absorbency and words to Esme, saying if the woman was cheap and an ******. So that raises ridicule from hotel employees, and Alice who was affected by the action of Esme.

Mike was happy because with his attitude must have damaged Alice's heart, he was happy to have tortured the woman's mind. With his rude and arrogant attitude, it is clearly visible from Mike's face about the satisfaction of his actions.

"We'll just see what your mother will do when she sees her daughter suffering from her own actions." Mike smiled sinisterly, still clearly visible when he left the house and found Alice standing behind the wall with a gaze full of wounds.

Mike opened his laptop, he wanted to see the attitude of his hotel employees. Showing a response to Alice who today must have come to the hotel, Mike was curious to look at the CCTV footage when Alice arrived and immediately received unpleasant treatment from other hotel employees.

"Based on cheap women, daughters of women ******. Which is the cause of Raina's death. The woman is shameless, still dares to show her innocent face here. It should be a woman like you and your mother who should disappear from the face of this earth, not even Madame Raina who should accept punishment for the crimes of your mother." The scorn of the hotel staff, when Alice arrived and she was silent, did not have the courage to fight or defend.

Somehow, Mike was angry and did not accept the bullying done by the hotel employees to Alice. Didn't he want Alice to suffer for her mother? So, why does Mike's heart feel the pain of looking at the woman's teary eyes?. But Mike was silent, and let them sneer at Alice, thus adding to the woman's suffering.

Throughout work, there was not a single word that Alice said to the other employees. He was completely silent, trying his hardest so that his ears would not hear any scorn from them, he had to hold back and let them insult him to satisfaction, there was no point in Alice making a sound either, because they hate him.

"Give me strength, Lord." Alice, in silence. 

No one wanted to be close friends with her, not even a little sympathy Alice felt. Everyone in the hotel hated him. Until innuendo for satire continues to be heard in Alice's ears, all day she pretends to be deaf. Regardless of their treatment, silence was the last path Alice could take.

"Mother, may I speak? There's something I want to tell Mom, and I hope you can be mature, don't just be selfish." Alice stood in front of Esme distracting her from the magazine she was reading.

"What's wrong? Just say it." Esme waited, what Alice would have said. Because Esme knew that Alice had never dared to talk too much to her.

"I'm asking you to stop and don't bother anything that has to do with Mike's late mother. Appreciate him as the owner of this house, that's all." Alice tried to calm down, though she knew that what she had just said must have made her mother unhappy.

Esme looked at Alice angrily, she did not expect that her daughter would dare to do that. 

"Don't interfere, Alice. You should support whatever I do, not even hinder and blame me, after all Raina is gone." Esme is angry and says in a high voice, she assumes that Alice is not on her side who blames what Esme has done.

Alice was surprised to have provoked the anger of her mother, but she could not just remain silent constantly. Alice must awaken Esme, if she has acted rashly and messed up everything in this house, as if Esme had more power over everything.

"I didn't mean to fight Mom, I just reminded her to be sober and stop trying to stop bothering about everything that had to do with Mama Mike, all the mess that happened this morning. It was because of the actions of Mother herself, who had already crossed her limits. What you've done is wrong." Alice again dared to talk a lot to her mother, but all this time she just kept quiet to let anything done by her mother.

Hearing all Alice's words, it again added to Esme's anger. He assumes that if his daughter has dared to resist by blaming and meddling in his affairs, Esme throws the magazine on the table and he immediately stands with a dead red face filled with anger.

"Brazed kid! How dare you teach me how to be kind, you're just a snot kid who just yesterday afternoon and doesn't understand about life. I warn you once more so that you don't have to interfere in all my business. " Esme inflamed. He even slapped Alice until she grimaced in pain.

Alice felt that her cheeks were throbbing painfully, and even Alice saw that there was blood on her palms. As she held onto her left cheek that had just been slapped by her mother, there was not the slightest bit of regret in Esme's eyes for her actions just now, all Alice saw was a face full of anger. Alice held back from crying, sick not from the slap. But because Esme does not feel guilty because her actions have caused chaos in this house.
