Trapped in Brother Love

Mike does all the work very hard and focused, so his mind is only on the files in front of him. Without Mike realizing if time was passing so quickly, he looked at the watch and apparently time had shown midnight. Mike let out a rough breath, then immediately rushed out of his study. The other employees have been home since two hours ago, so there is only security left and two hotel employees who are always there according to their working hours. 

Alice began to close her eyes, though her head continued to work rethinking the incident this afternoon. How the indifference of Mike who refused his arrival, even Mike told him to leave and do not bother the man again, of course it makes Alice speechless and do not know what to do.

"Are you asleep, Mike? Are you gonna worry about me knowing that tonight I'm not coming home?" Alice whispered with her eyes closed but she was not yet fully asleep.

While Mike just left his office and went home, the incident this afternoon still imprints Mike's memory. He was hoping that Alice would come back and persuade as she always did when Mike was sulking, asking for an explanation for what Mike said this afternoon if he did not want to be disturbed. Though all this time Mike was very happy when Alice came to him.

"Hopefully you haven't slept yet, and met me. With an adoring gaze while trying to seduce and ask for an explanation from me, then we'll see what I'll do next." Mike smiled mysteriously, not knowing what he wanted.

On the one hand, Mike likes to do a thing that will make the inner Alice tormented, then of course the woman will feel hurt. Seen from the look of his face that was slanted and desperate, as if helpless against Mike's stubborn attitude. But on the other hand, Mike's heart refused to do that. Until the satisfaction of his heart will end with a hope that is able to carve a sincere smile from Mike's lips.

Arriving home, Mike goes into his room, cleans up, after which he waits for Alice to arrive. But Alice did not go to her room, but Mike was sure that Alice had arrived home first. Because of the long wait, Mike finally decided to go to Alice's room, he saw Alice's closed room and the light died. And open the door.

"Where is he? Why is the phone inactive? Didn't she come home from two hours ago, but why wasn't she in her room?" Mike is upset that Alice is not in his room, and Mike tries to call Alice's phone number. But it can't.

Mike was already wearing casual clothes, so he headed straight to Alice's room which turned out to be empty. Then Mike closed the door to Alice's room, trying to find her elsewhere. Who knows, Alice is daydreaming because she can't sleep. But after Mike searched all the rooms upstairs, Alice was not there either.

"Did I ask Esme? No." Mike was about to step into his stepmother's room, but just one step he stopped and turned back his body.

Mike became anxious and also upset, wanting to feel like he asked Esme. About Alice's whereabouts, but Mike felt awkward if he had to greet his stepmother, who Mike hated. Finally Mike decided to go downstairs and wanted to ask the servants at his house.

But Mike did not find a single waiter who was still awake, Mike realized that it was late at night. They must have all gone to their rooms to rest.

"Damn! They've all slept. I forgot that it was late at night, it was appropriate that the servants had been lulled by the dream." Mike grumbled in annoyance when he didn't find any of the servants still awake.

Mike came out and only found the security guard outside, so he had no choice but to ask about Alice's whereabouts, which was not at home, but it was late at night. Mike walked quickly to the security guard who was seen talking to his partner.

"Good night, Mr. Mike. Can we help you?" ask one of the security guards as Mike approaches them.

"Good night, I'd like to ask you a question. Have you seen Alice? Because he's not home." Mike hopes that the two people in front of him can give answers or concerns to Alice.

The two security guards looked at each other with their comrades, nodding their heads. Because they knew about what his employer was asking, one of them answered Mike's question.

"Miss Alice doesn't come home, sir. The waiter said, Miss Alice called Ms. Esme earlier, if she's going to stay outside tonight." The reply from the security guard, shocked Mike.

Mike nodded his head, he became anxious as well. It's been this night but Alice isn't home, questions fill Mike's head. She was worried that something bad might happen to Alice, even though she hated the woman. But when the situation is like this, Mike still can not ignore the safety of Alice.

"Actually where did you go, Alice. What if something bad happens to you? Were you really angry with my outrageous attitude this afternoon?" Mike could only grumble while pacing around in the living room.

Esme instead behaved normally when she found out that her daughter did not come home, even worried that she would not. Esme doesn't care if Alice goes anywhere, because for Esme it doesn't matter to her. As a mother, Esme was able to fall asleep. Mike seemed worried about Alice.

Mike still hasn't got an idea what he's supposed to do now, where are you looking for Alice? He himself had no idea who the woman was going to stay at whose house, just the brief information Mike had received from the security guard. They also knew it from the waiter.

"What if you meet another guy out there? Are you going to forget me? And just turn away from me? Oh, my God, what do I do now?" Mike was desperate, he was really confused, upset and anxious, the panic he first felt when he heard the story if Alice did not come home and stay outside.

The rest are just bad thoughts about the woman, while he can only pacing unclear, without having a way out about how Mike's next action.
