Trapped in Brother Love

Alice stops the rampage on herself, when she sees Haris coming in and tells her that neither she nor Mike are at all guilty. Alice still does not understand what Haris said just now, because she considers if the relationship of love with Mike which is as a brother and father is a mistake.

Alice waited for an explanation from Haris, while the man chose to sit on a chair right next to the patient's bed. Alice hopes that Haris will not take Mike's side even though the man is her son, because Alice knows that Haris is her father too and Alice respects Haris very much.

"Let me explain everything to you today, after that it's up to you whether you want to believe in me or not. But I was hoping that you could forgive Mike and you wouldn't have to feel guilty about being in a relationship that nothing was wrong." Haris calmly began to tell Alice about what she had not known.

Haris did not tell Alice right away, but she wanted to explain slowly so that Alice could digest well that the misunderstanding between her and Mike had made her regret what had happened to them both.

"meaning?"Alice was still confused and waited for Haris' explanation.

"Your relationship and Mike's are not at all wrong, because you're neither my son nor Esme's. Since you're a baby Esme's taken you from the orphanage, so that between you and Mike don't flow the same blood. So you don't have to blame yourself for being in a relationship with Mike." Haris said what Alice should have known.

Alice's response was of course surprised, she looked shocked after hearing Haris' explanation of her status all along. Alice is not that easy to believe what Haris has just said, so Alice wants that the truth that has been hidden from her should she find out from others not just from Harris.

"No way, dad. I didn't believe it at all, I had to meet with Mama and ask for an explanation of all this. I'd believe it if Mama told me that herself." Alice shook her head, she really did not believe the truth that Haris had just revealed.

How could it be that she was not Esme and Haris's child, because from childhood Alice knew that her mother was Esme. Although Esme's treatment was not at all like the mother's treatment of her daughter, but Alice was very grateful to have a mother like Esme and she loved the woman sincerely and wholeheartedly.

"Father promised to meet you with Esme, once your condition is completely restored." Haris must make this decision so that her son does not feel bad and Alice can be happy with the man she loves.

Alice still does not believe Haris' story just now, let alone about his status which is not the real child of Esme. So, Alice only needs to meet with Esme and demand an explanation from the woman who had been considered by Alice as her mother.

"I'm sorry, Alice. I know that I was wrong and made you angry, but I swear that my love is not a lie at all. I love you with all my heart." Mike does not care that in the room there is Brandon and also his father, Mike only wants if Alice can forgive him and no longer act cold like he does not recognize Mike at all.

Alice does not respond to Mike's apology at all, even though she is no longer angry after listening to Brandon's explanation about the sincerity of Mike's love for her. It's just that Alice doesn't want to focus first when else, though, now Alice only wants to be able to meet with Esme immediately and hear direct information from the woman about her status which according to Haris' statement is not the real child of Esme and Haris.

Haris and Brandon both understand what Mike is feeling right now, but they can't do anything about it and just look at Alice's cold attitude toward Mike . Brandon, who has been with Mike for a long time, does not believe that the man is willing to apologize repeatedly to a woman. It turns out that love has changed the arrogance of Mike who has been known to be quite picky in women affairs, but the presence of Alice is able to change the ugliness that is in Mike.

"Please speak, Alice. Don't keep quiet like this and ignore me, because I feel so sad, you shut up as if you thought I wasn't here." Mike dared not approach the side of the patient bed where Alice was.

There was no other conversation between the four of them, Brandon felt he had done his job, which was to explain to Alice the feelings of Mike's love that was so sincere to Alice , meanwhile, Haris has explained to Alice about her who turns out to be not the real child of Esme and also Haris. Haris hopes are great that Alice will believe him and no longer need to feel guilty for having a relationship with Mike.

"Recover first, I'll arrange your meeting with Esme. Because now you won't be able to easily meet him, after what Esme has done to me and Mike." Haris disperse the daydreams of Alice, because Alice had just been silent and cold to Mike who kept trying to apologize.

Alice just nodded her head, right now she only wanted to meet Esme as soon as possible. It was only after she heard directly from the woman that Alice would decide what to take regarding her relationship with Mike .
