Trapped in Brother Love

Alice still holding her cheek that had just been slapped by her mother, she felt sick and tired of living in sadness and also the pressure of all the actions and actions of her mother. Esme never once cared for Alice as much as a mother would for her daughter, Esme always told Alice that all she did was for the happiness and survival of both of them. But Alice did not want and did not want what her mother had been doing.

"Mama is outrageous" said Alice, crying and staring at Esme, who threw her face in the other direction.

"Pondering your mistake, Alice. Mama did this because you've gone too far, get out of my sight. Before I got more angry and did something much worse than just slapping you," sizzled Esme, who sat back, looking like she had just committed a crime. 

Alice did not respond to her mother's words, she could only shake her head. It was as if he had not expected that Esme could act beyond the limits like this. Alice is heartbroken when a mother no longer cares about her own daughter's feelings. Women who are mothers, but have no conscience or compassion.

Esme was so ordinary after she slapped so hard on her daughter's cheek, without saying anything Elis decided to go to her room with tears and blood just kept coming out of the corner of her lips.

Sick, of course. But the wounds from the slap were not worth the wounds on the heart as well as the mental eyebrows because for the rest of his life he had never felt as happy as those of his age, there is no place to share even if it is just pouring out his heart.

"Who shall I tell the story, bringing out all the turmoil and the tightness that for years was like punishment? Not even one friend I have, no one wants to be friends with a child of a mistress like my mother." Alice wept, she could not bear all the selfishness of Esme, as if blocking all her dreams and desires.

"What is my sin, Lord? So to get a mother who is selfish and has no feelings, I was treated like a stepchild, even animals are able to protect their children from the safest of wild animals. But what you do does not reflect the figure of a mother." Alice muttered alone, crying over the fate of her life. No one wants to be in a position like Alice, but that is the way life must be lived.

Alice just wants to live a normal life like everyone else, with no shadows about Esme. There was no scorn or contempt about Esme who was famous as a mistress, no matter if Alice lived a simple life but she was happy and lived a quiet, peaceful life as well as serene.

"What should I do now? I can't possibly live like this on, and survive in this house." Alice thought for a moment, she had to immediately decide about her own life without having to be interfered with by her mother.

Finally, Alice decides to leave Mike's house. And he'll rent an apartment that if the rent is cheap, at least he no longer needs to see Esme's annoying attitude and behavior. And also did not get a look of wrath full of anger and hatred from Mike.

Alice immediately tidied all her belongings into the suitcase, before Esme found out. Not many items that Alice brought, at least enough for her to start a new life without any more rules and pressure from Esme.

"What are you doing, Alice? Don't tell me you packed all these clothes, 'cause you wanted to get out of this house? Answer." Esme yelled as she ruffled her waist, she looked wrathful at what her daughter was doing.

"If you dare to leave this house, then Mama will never regard and acknowledge you as my daughter again. You dare to fight me who has conceived and raised." Esme was angry, even though Alice said nothing. But Esme knew that Alice was about to leave the house.

But it seems that Esme's threat is working, as Alice stops her hand from putting the clothes in the suitcase. Then putting her back in the closet, Esme smiled because Alice was afraid of her threat. Then Esme exited Alice's room, closing the door tightly, causing a loud bang.

Alice's body fell to the floor, she was helpless. He has no relatives, so Esme's threat weakens him. Alice is not ready to live alone, far from the only family she has, Esme.

"Oh my God, how much longer do I have to live like this? I'm tired, I can't take it anymore." Alice cried, she covered her face with both palms.

Alice's shoulders were shaken, she should be able to accept such a bitter and difficult way of life. Not because of financial difficulties, but the absence of love and affection that Alice got from her mother. If other children will enjoy spending time together with their mother, go to the salon, shopping, cooking and so on along with their mother. Not with Alice. Esme always reasoned busy and let Alice grow alone, unaccompanied during her growth period.

In her grief, only one person was Alice. Remember, he is Mike. Alice longed for the man, and wanted to tell him many things. Alice stands up, searches for her phone and attempts to contact Mike. But not responded.

"Do you hate me too, Mike? Are you the same as Mama, who doesn't care about me?" Lirih Alice, staring at the phone she still held.

Alice still has not forgotten what Mike's hateful face looked like when the man left the house, after being angry that his late mother's room was occupied by Esme, until all of Raina's belongings are replaced by Esme's, Mike throws everything into disrepair and disarray.

An expression is also an act of anger for a child, when all his mother's property is replaced by the presence of another woman in the house. So it's only natural that Mike's angry, but Esme doesn't care at all. Although Alice had tried to resuscitate also reminded her mother, not to act as she pleased and interfere with everything related to the late Raina. But still Esme does not feel guilty, which is there she blames Alice and considers if Alice has been rude to him.
