...Collecting Differences...
17 Ramadan. Nightly.
Maybe this is the first time I'm confused where to start. A lot of things happened together tonight. Maybe I'll start where I am right now. Permata Hijau Clinic. The green painted buildings in the Eastern area of the city are quite large and have quite complete medical facilities. The ambulance that came to the Two Light residential complex was one of those facilities.
The ambulance came with an adult male driver in his thirties and two nurses; a young male and a young female in her early twenties. Upon arriving at home no.22, the male nurse immediately checked on Dwi while the female Nurse walked into the emergency room to see the situation inside. Shortly thereafter the two Nurses made the decision to take Dwi to the Clinic, while the female Nurse would stay to supervise the delivery process of the Security Guard Wife. Then after dropping off Dwi, the Ambulance will be back soon with a maternity doctor.
So there you have it, the Ambulance again brought Dwi, along with Aidah and the baby, and I too of course. Because if I wait any longer at the house of Aidah, I fear I can not control myself which will be controlled by curiosity and finally penetrate into the emergency room. So I better get away from that situation. Although I have to admit I'm really curious. So we were the first wave to arrive at the Green Gem Clinic of the Two Light housing complex. The situation became more and more complicated starting from this point.
Once Dwi was taken into the Emergency Unit room, it turned out that in the room there was a young man who was none other than Wawan and a beautiful curly-haired girl. Wawan who recognized Dwi, immediately approached his friend.
"You why?" Wawan asked worriedly.
"It's a long story.." Dwi replied with a sigh. "Why are you here yourself? Who's being treated?" He asked back.
"So meeting an accident man on the street." Sahut Girl with Wawan. This girl is none other than Wawan's girlfriend named Dara, who is also a good friend of Rossa and once had a complicated history with the Jungle.
"Accident?" Dwi Birthday.
"We have just separated from the other teams. On the road ahead of SMP II, there was a rickshaw of goods that crashed into a car stopped in the next lane in front of us." Wawan began to explain what happened before he got to the Permata Hijau Clinic. "Recommens upside down. The man who brought the rickshaw was sprawled, his head hit the asphalt." He continued. "Nobody there knows the father. Let's just come here." Close Wawan.
Dwi nodded in understanding. Then he turned to the bed whose curtains were closed to his left. "Which side?" Ask while pointing to the left.
"Yes." Yeah." Sahut Wawan's.
"The same question that Wawan asked earlier." Dara. "You why? It's not a small wound." With a worried expression.
Dwi grimaced for a moment before starting to speak. "It's..."
But his explanation had to be delayed due to the arrival of the Doctor who examined him. "Who gave the first treatment?" Ask the hijab doctor who is around the age of the late thirties.
"I!" Said Aidah while raising a little side of her hand that was carrying her baby.
"You?" Ask the Doctor who seems to be expecting one of his Nurses to respond to the previous question. Then the hijab doctor looked at Aidah seriously for a long while before his expression turned into surprise. "Tongue? You're Aida, right?"
"Yes, Doctor." Sahut Aidah with a smile.
At that moment a little information from their memory piece penetrated into me. When Aidah was still undergoing fieldwork. The hijab doctor named Iriana was the guide.
"That's your baby?" Ask Dr. Iriana.
Aida nodded her head, "Yes, Doc."
"So this..." Dr. Iriana pointed to Dwi, "Your husband?" Ask more of yourself.
This time Aidah shook his head slowly, "No, Doc."
"okay... So, luka sayat. Long enough, but not too deep." Said Doctor Iriana focusing again on the wound on Dwi's back. "It's got to be stitched, Mas." He spoke directly to Dwi.
"Yes, Doc." Said Dwi grimacing.
"Why is this wound?" Ask Dr. Iriana. "Followers?" Guess later.
"No, Doc." Dwi Sahut fast.
"So? A failed magic trick?"
"Backed Robbers?" Tanya Wawan demanded an explanation.
"I told you it was a long story." Dwi. Obviously still do not want to explain the details of the incident to his friend.
Right at that moment there was one more patient who entered the ER. And it looks like this patient is worse than Dwi. An adult male in his late thirties whose thighs were drenched in blood. He entered the room with a bed pushed by a male nurse and two policemen. The two policemen wore bulletproof vests that housed walkie talkies and firearms. Rumors of the gang riots are increasing lately and other criminal acts. Looks like the police became busier over the course of a few days I became a hermit.
"Please wait a minute." Said Doctor Iriana who rushed to check on the new patient.
"Wounds from sharp weapons." Said the older policeman. "We tried, Doc. But the bleeding hasn't stopped." Reveal it.
"Why get hit by a sharp weapon, sir?" Ask Dr. Iriana to the Police.
"The victim of assault." Answer the police.
"From who?" Ask Dr. Irina again.
Now the younger policeman replies, "From his friends!" He said while pointing at Wawan.
"Me?" Wawan asked with a puzzled face while pointing at himself.
"Yes. You!" Resolute Young cop.
"Is there evidence?" Ask Wawan with a defiant tone.
"Eyews say the assailant is a member of the Two-wheeled Gang." Said the young policeman as he walked closer to Wawan. "Your rich!" He said as he stopped a step in front of Wawan with his index finger pointed forward.
"Witnesses?" Reply Wawan with eyebrows linked. "That means no one got caught?" He concluded. "So you know where the culprit is my friend?"
In a stern voice the young policeman said, "Because you're both two wheels!" Then rather fieryly he added, "The most violent gang! You should all be arrested!"
Wawan reacted quite calmly in my opinion to someone accused by the security forces. He shook his head softly with a face that stated; he could not believe this was happening to him. Then look beyond the young Policeman, and speak directly to the older Police officer behind him.
"That Trijaya!" Call Wawan. "How many times do I have to explain? Two-wheeled gangs are many groups that are separated. So, if there's one that's making a mess. That's not necessarily my friends." Obviously long.
"As long as it's still called Two wheels. Then you're all in the same group." Urge young police.
Now Dara is retaliating with arguments that reverse the understanding earlier. "So you assume that if there is one police officer who is corrupt, it means that all the police are also corrupt? Then, it means you're also a corruptor."
"Get your manners, miss." Said the young policeman in a sharp tone.
"Don't care who it is..." Fizz Dara. "I'm just being polite to a decent person!" Follow up loudly.
I have to admit for human size, that Dara was quite brave. The girl stood up to the older man who had authority in the government structure and was clearly in possession of a firearm with official permission ready to use. And he obviously pissed this young cop off. But still undaunted. The friend of a human of Rossa's caliber must have been this brave. I have to admit, I'm starting to like Dara. And I'm ready to help her if something bad happens.
"It's Clinic!" Raung Doctor Iriana. "If you still want to make a fuss, continue somewhere else!" Speak with a high tone.
And along with that, the young police who began to realize his mistake for being less sensitive to the situation and conditions around him also apologized. Well, I don't blame the guy. Fatigue was clearly visible on his face. I myself have witnessed how brutal clashes can be between humans, on a large and small scale. Dwi and the new patient in the ER are the real evidence. And if the rumor that says the city is becoming more violent is indeed appropriate, the Police Force must be overwhelmed Physically and Mentally.
After stopping the spark between the other humans in this room. Dr. Iriana again gave instructions to the Nurses who helped her deal with the wounds of her Patient who was now around her bed covered with curtains. And Dwi is not simply ignored. There was a nurse who examined him based on orders from Doctor Iriana and also started to cover the curtains around him.
So gather the humans who deliver other humans who are currently being treated. Wawan, Dara, Aidah who was holding his sleeping baby, and the Two Police officers stood while watching the curtains closed in front of them. They come from different backgrounds with different problems, but in a unique way, they are all connected. Tonight they are living a different life to each other. But the situation they were in brought them to the same place at almost the same time. In the end, they were gathered in the same room. And although different, now there is one thing that is clearly visible from them. The feeling that arises... Anxiety.
