Trapped in Ramadhan

Trapped in Ramadhan
Part 30 - The Inevitable

...Inevitable...

18 Ramadan. Morning time.

After performing the Fajr Prayer Service at Al-Alim Mosque, Wawan and Rian returned to the Brothers motorbike to gather with Dara and Aidah. Bella was also there, and was holding the Princess, the baby girl of Aidah with anxiety. Wawan invites Rian to the front room, away from the Women and starts to tell about the problems involving them.

Rian shook his head in disbelief after hearing Wawan's story. "Cheating yourself is bad." Said Rian. "But it's aggravated because your friend cheated on you with the wife of the White Mafia boss." Further. "Did your friend have no brain?"

"He doesn't know." Wawan said defending Dwi who is not here.

"Don't know or he thinks there's no need to bother finding out the husband of his affair because it doesn't matter?" Said Rian.

"Can you not use that word?" Pinta Wawan while rubbing his chin. "It looks like a gossip host..."

"Yes. My tongue is also starting to feel uncomfortable." Rian. "But your friend is fucked!"

"Their relationship is complicated." Wawan said after choosing a word that felt suitable.

"What complicated?" Asked Rian indifferently.

"I met Dwi about a year before I got married." The words of Aida suddenly appeared from the back room.

It surprised Wawan and Rian and made them become clumsy.

"At the hospital when I was a nurse." Continue Aidah. "He's a good guy. From there we got close. The more days are closer." He paused for a moment before saying, "But there is trouble coming... The problem the White Mafia solved."

From their expressions it seems that Rian and Wawan really listen to the story of Aidah.

"My family has a lot of debt they can't afford." Aidah. "When they are in trouble... The White Mafia paid off their debts. So my family married me to that man. Panca Hartono, the man I don't love at all." Clearly further away.

Then with watery eyes and a quivering voice Aida continued, "He is good, but unstable. And it got worse after my son was born... She wants a boy, but my baby's a girl... So, he doesn't care anymore... Her good qualities are completely gone..."

"Sorry..." Rian. "I don't think the situation..."

"Synchronous resemblance?" Ask Aida with a forced smile. "Meet at work, get into a relationship, there's debt problems, be forced to marry the Mafia, get into a messy marriage, and then try to get back to your previous relationship..." He told his life story. "Indeed similar soap opera story... But the pain and hate I feel... It's real!" It's full of sadness. His life is similar to a soap opera story, but less melodramatic and darker, much worse.

"I'm sorry if my problems get to you, too..." Alawah.

"Fighting with that person is inevitable." Wawan calmly. "He may wait until he has a good enough reason to attack us."

"Yes. We also have a history with that person who made us walking targets." Tympano Rian.

"What makes me wonder, is the White Mafia still active?" Ask Dara who appeared from the back room with Bella who was holding the Princess. "If you still..." This curly-haired girl continued, "There must be a lot of news on the streets, right?"

"She is sometimes unstable at home. But he's smart... Full of calculations too." Said Aidah who took the baby from Bella's sling. "Maybe he's waiting for something..."

"But what?" Ask Dara. Who get no answer from others.

But Wawan and Rian exchanged looks that I found rather suspicious. Then Wawan grabbed Rian by the shoulder and said, "Most importantly, we should be ready if he starts moving. Yeah, no, buddy?"

"I did agree to help, but not to help fight the White Mafia." Obviously Rian.

"You said we were walking targets." Wawan.

Rian ignored that and began to discuss something else, "You still haven't told me your plan to change the way other people see two wheels."

"First step." Wawan. "We're catching the owner of this bike." He pointed at the motor in the middle of the room. "So you said the characteristics of the culprit were the same as those who read out Dwi."

"Male, tall.."

"Survy voice!" Sambar Aidah cuts Rian's words.

“Yapc. The other one is big.”

"match it." Wawan. "What age is that person?"

"I'm not sure.. Maybe the end of twenty.." Guess Rian.

"When do you want to take this bike?" It was Dara's turn to ask.

"Later tonight." Answer Rian.

"What time?"

"He didn't say."

"When it's late afternoon I come straight here to work, wait till the guy comes." Wawan.

"If you want revenge, I won't help." Firmly Rian.

"This is part of the first step." Wawan. "Capture the culprit, leave it quietly to Iptu Trijaya."

"Team Garuda?" Ask Bella. "Why them? Why not go to the police station?"

"They're trustworthy cops." Reply Wawan. "There's something upsetting, but they're good cops. Those who are the busiest in street time are getting rich now. We need their trust."

"Iptu Trijaya also said this case would be investigated by himself." Aidah added.

"Okay, I'll help you until the case is over." Rian.

"Sip, Dude!" Wawan was excited. "If so now I go home first, come back later that afternoon."

"One more..." Said Rian. He looked around, looking for signs of me.

To show my existence, I held onto Rian's shoulder, which made him squeak.

"What's? You why?" Ask Wawan who is staring confused. Then Rian approached her and whispered asking what I had asked her to ask.

Somehow it was necessary, but the look on Wawan's face turned unpredictable as he replied without whispering, "Last time I heard he was living out of town. But I don't know where exactly."

I had hoped to be able to answer the existence of the Chairman of the Two-wheeled Gang from Wawan, the Leader of the Eastern Division who still carries the name of the Gang. But I still haven't got the answer I'm looking for.

I'll stay on the Brothers Motorcycle for the rest of the day. Just in case the owner of this bike comes ahead of schedule. Rian deliberately did not replace the damaged motor parts at the request of Aidah so that this motorbike could be evidence that strengthens their explanation later. And on the side of serving other customers who come to the workshop, Rian always took the time to communicate with me through the letters on the paper. He often asked and I answered. I don't mind at all because it makes me feel bored. And it seems like Rian also likes the communication between us.

Nightly.

Wawan came to the Motor Brothers along with his two friends, wide-ear Youth and round-legged fat Youth, their names are Pion and Banda. The three of them brought food and drinks to break their fast with Rian on the motorcycle Brothers. The four of them then prayed Maghrib in Masjid Al-Alim. I saw Rian whispering something to Adam. After performing their Worship, the Four Youths rode their motorcycles back towards the Brothers Motorcycle.

"So you got a new conversation partner?" Adam opened the conversation.

"It's still better than not being able to communicate at all, right?" Adam Say.

"Yes." Yeah." My solute.

"So... Is Rian in trouble again?" Adam asked half a guess.

"It can be considered so." Reply carefully. "He's not the center of the problem." I tried to make it clear, "But now He's starting to get involved in it."

"OKAY.." Said Adam while nodding. "This issue... Bigger than the previous problem?"

"Yes." Yeah." I'm nodding. "It seems to involve troublesome humans."

"Not a human being by name if it's not a hassle." Adam said.

"I agree with that." My speech.

"But you're still gonna help Rian, right?"

"Until this is over."

"So you put aside your big quest?"

What Adam meant was My search for the whereabouts of the other Jinn who for the past few days had been known to man as the Invisible Hero.

"It can wait." Saying later. "After all, I should be able to prevent the problems that Rian is now involved in. So, I feel responsible to help solve this problem."

"Haha..." Adam suddenly laughed. "Regarding personal goals to help others is not called a sense of responsibility." Her speech. Then he waved his hand at me and added, "Beyond the pitiful look like a mummy failed to dress this..."

"Oi!" I warned.

But Adam ignored the resentment that had arisen from me and continued, "Turn this... Within it... There's a reason you're willing to help people, it's called kindness."

I absorbed and thought about what Marbot had just said beside me. "Maybe you're right... If there wasn't any good in me, I would've strangled you to the point of peeing in your pants because words sucked you."

Adam covered his mouth as he put on an obviously contrived look of surprise and said, "You sound like I'm the villain!"

"You're overreacting!" My serge.

"You were the one who overdone people who had problems with Rian." Reply Adam. "Just make sure it doesn't happen again this time."

"Ah... You're such a bitch.."

"Making a friend upset is not a bitch to his name... But friendship." Adam said as he left me.

Back to the Motor Brothers. Rian and Wawan are discussing about the next steps of Wawan's plan.

Wawan began, "After we got the trust of Iptu Trijaya and his team..."

"It can be turned around." Sambar Rian's. "Thu Trijaya can blame you for withholding important information."

"Wouldn't." Sahut Wawan confident. "Later we will also hand over the culprit to Iptu Trijaya. Once we can trust him, we'll just start the next step."

"And what is it?"

"Night patrol." Wawan replied quickly. "Like the Garuda Team."

"You're serious?"

"Yes. Just think, man. Every night there are riots in many places. But how many Garuda Team members?... About twenty people? That's not enough."

"So you want to be the second team to patrol the night?"

"If there is a riot, we arrest the men, then report to Iptu Trijaya for processing. The beginning is only in the East, our home. But it could ease the task of the Garuda Team, right?"

"depends." Said Rian. "If you guys are trying to put down the riots, it could even get worse."

"Don't demean it, man." Wawan said slowly.

"sorry. But if that's your plan... You'll often clash with the other two-wheeler group."

"The Jungle's flock." Hiss Wawan. "The worst of us. The recent riots, he's the one who started!"

"I know that expression." Said Rian while pointing at Wawan's face which now began to appear a black aura from him. "Personal issues, right?"

With an outpouring of emotion, Wawan recounted the problems involving the Jungle, the Black Gem, and Dara.

"Cockfighting!" Raung Rian while kicking the front tire of the broken motor in the middle of the room.

"Now you understand the trigger, right?" Wawan. "It starts from the day the two wheels split." Continue with a grim expression. "Among the three of us, Rimba is the most senior. So when you came out, most chose to follow him instead of being part of my group."

For a moment there was a pressure-filled silence between them.

"If I take this path..." Wawan. "A clash with the Jungle and Herds is inevitable."

Rian looked at Wawan and stated, "I'll help you. I'm trying to get my friends together for a night patrol out west here."

“Good, man!” wawan said with a smile. His two friends, Pion and Banda who were listening to their conversation also looked excited.

“Out there must also be a group of Two wheels that do not like the way of the Wildlife Flocks.” Said Banda. “But they dare not take action.”

“If they knew there were two former Division Leaders who were opponents of the Jungle way, they might follow our steps.” Pion.

“There are likely also many other groups who do not like our way.” Rian warned. “Groups called Hunters may also be targeting you because you still use the logo Two wheels.”

“Yah..” Wawan said with a grin. “Clashes with Hunters are also inevitable!”

“Why are you even excited?” Rian suspected.

“I'm excited because of our Alliance, man!” wawan said as he clenched his fist towards Rian.

“Alliances yes..” reload Rian while welcoming fist wawan. “Good too!”

Looks like I just witnessed the formation of an Alliance that will be the opponent of the Jungle and Southern Flock. The alliance of the remnants of the Two Divisions, the increasingly savage Southern Flocks, the ever-growing Hunters, the Garuda Team of the Police, and even the rising White Mafia once again. A big clash is coming, and it's... The inevitable!
