Trapped in Ramadhan

Trapped in Ramadhan
Part 9 - United

...Unified...

4 Ramadan. Nightly.

Most Muslims in the city are performing the Tarawih Prayer in the mosque. Some stay at home, keeping from being the target of theft Ramadan specialists who come to the house that was empty because Tarawih left behind. How's my? I was in an abandoned house in the downtown area, watching the fight between two humans; january and Early. Besides me, there were also two other humans, friends of the two Youths who were witnesses of this fight; Dodo and Beni.

Although they used to be good friends, now January and Early represent small groups from each neighborhood. This battle was the end line for those who frequently clashed on the basis of hatred and grudges embedded even from the generations before them. The fight between the two youths had already lasted a few minutes, their bodies bruised, torn skin, and bloody knuckles. But they will keep attacking each other until one of them can't fight anymore. They won't end until that happens.

Now the superior beginning with his boxer style punch, attacking with Jab twice continued with the right Hook, right, then Hook left and a straight punch urged January, three steps away from the wall behind him. But when Awal strikes again with a right fist right into the face, January manages to dodge quickly while grabbing Awal's shoulder, pull it forward and slam the hoe into his stomach twice before turning and throwing it near the wall until their position is reversed.

January immediately attacked with a successful left fist held Early with his hand. The beginning strikes back with a left fist to the face of January, who dodged backward while setting his foot into the stomach Early to a step back. Then January took the attacking horses before jumping around and kicking Early to the wall behind him until he fell down. Without waiting for his opponent to get up, January lunged with one leg. But Awal managed to dodge by rolling to the side and quickly stood up while still holding his stomach. While January held his knee that was painful as a result of hitting the wall.

Dodo and Beni could only watch tensely. They fidget whenever their friend is hit by a direct attack. But they kept respecting the agreement and kept quiet in place. Wait and hope their friend wins at the end.

To me, none of them are right or wrong. It was true that both of their friends were being treated at the Clinic for their last two clashes being injured by the same person, a Two-wheeled Gang member who seemed to just want their group to beat each other up. But to assume that they are only victims of third-party sheepfighting is not true. Their clashes and resentment were already there long before their friend became a victim.

Both January and Early were enveloped in a black aura of hatred. And along with that, they also shared their memories, pieces of time where they were still good friends. It was in Junior High when they were in the same class for three years. They were in the same task group, playing at Warnet after school, when January and other classmates pelted flour and eggs on Early Birthday, when January introduced Awal to their underclassman—The glasses girl at the Clinic who was the cousin of the Youth who was treated there—after they helped her from the biker gang.

After graduation, January and Early went to the same SMK. They know about the disagreements between their neighborhoods, but they don't care and hope their friendship can change the thinking of their other friends. But all that changes one day when the two of them witness a clash between friends from their neighborhood. Due to a desire to protect their friends, they are forced to get involved in a fight that also includes Beni and Wanto, as well as Dodo and his bespectacled Young Girl cousin who is being treated at the Clinic named Boby. After that day, the resentment between January and Early began to appear and continued to grow until they became the leaders of each group. To this day.

The location of the fight tonight should only be known by January, Dodo, Awal, and Beni. But now can be heard the sound of motors that stop outside this house. And along with that also came the voices of some men. The four youths who were inside here immediately turned to each other with puzzled gazes.

"You told your friends!?" Accuse Beni of Dodo.

"not me! I didn't tell anyone! That's deal!" Dodo Denies.

"I didn't tell anyone either." Beni Saying.

January and Early who stood face to face threw serious gazes at each other to see which of them called for help. Then they all realized none of them had called their friend. The ones who came were another group. And those people were starting to be heard entering the house.

This building has many rooms with walls that are still sturdy even though they have long been abandoned. So when January, Dodo, Awal, and Beni in the middle room docked to one of the walls, they could not be seen by humans who just entered the front room. But from this position they could see anyone who had just entered. Five young men wearing jackets or T-shirts with the logo of the Two-wheeled Gang. And I recognized one of them, the young man I whispered to in the field and who stabbed Wanto this morning.

"That's Toni, Wal!" Bisik Beni who turned to Awal who nodded back.

"You know them?" Ask January suspiciously.

"The big man in the middle of it.." Preliminary Speech. "Name Toni. "He's the one who's playing Bobi on the field."

"So he's the one?" Said January in annoyance while looking at Toni who was gathered in the front room. Then he moved and was about to head there, but Dodo held him back.

"Wait a minute, Jan!" Dodo Briefs. "We still don't know what they want here. It would be bad if they met the other members." Reciprocity.

It was true what Dodo said. From outside, there was another motorbike.

"Now I'm conscious." He said in January, staring at Toni. "That guy stabbed your friend."

"Toni?" Ask Early not to believe.

"Don't lie!" Beni said.

January shakes. "His face was covered in scarf this morning, but it was him. I'm sure."

"We're playing with the Two-wheeled Gang." Tukas Dodo's.

That fact did not surprise me, but I was indeed surprised when I saw two young men entering while holding a Girl. The glasses girl is none other than Boby's cousin I met at the clinic.

"Dinda!?" January and Early Vote almost simultaneously.

"Do you want him here?" Ask Dodo who represents the curiosity of the others.

Whatever the reason, it will not end well if left alone. Because Toni and her six friends began to emit black aura from negative emotions.

"You're looking for me?" Ask Toni.

"You... Toni...?" Linda asked back. His voice sounded weak and his daze even though supported by two young men on his right-hand side.

As Toni approached and touched her hands to Dinda's face, the black aura of hers and her friends grew bigger and I began to be able to see the pieces of their memory. Dinda purposely meets two young men who are holding her to inquire about the whereabouts of Toni from the Two-wheeled Gang. The two young men promised to take Dinda to see Toni if they wanted to accompany them to drink. And Dinda took it. But his drink was given some kind of medicine by the two Youth which made him dazed like now. Then they contacted Toni who brought other friends to meet at this place. Because the environment around this house is always quiet when Tarawih time. They brought Dinda here to... You slave of Satan! They plan to harass him.

"Woy, shit!" January screamed as it lunged forward and kicked one of them right between his thighs until it fell in pain.

The other six members of the Two-wheeled Gang did not remain silent. One of them came forward while chiding, but January directly hit him. Yet another man came forward and ambushed in January. But the Dodo also stepped forward to help January by pulling the person apart from January and slamming him. But January and Dodo were immediately surrounded by the Two-wheeled Gang except for Toni who now holds Dinda.

"That gang is your enemy! Help them both!" My whisper to Awal and Beni who went straight ahead helped January and Dodo.

Early punching Youth who was about to beat January who detained two friends with a combination jab+jab+hook. Then help January break away. While Beni and Dodo fight each other back while taking turns attacking three people who fight them. They put up a fierce resistance with every fist and kick they hit. But they are still outnumbered. January and Awal were also exhausted and injured from their previous fight. In the end they will lose if this continues.

I have to do something to help January and the others. But even though I whisper techniques to attack, it won't help much because they've been very good. So I chose another way by whispering the Two-wheeled Gang. Not to help them, but to break their concentration.

I approached one of them and whispered, "Review on the right!" Which made him turn his head to the right and not realize the Early fist coming from the left hit him in the face.

"Review between the thighs!" My whisper to the young man who was hit by a powerful January kick on the side of his head because his hands were about to protect his head instead covered near his thigh.

I kept making spectacular whispers like:

"There's a mutant cockroach in your hull!"

"Watch the rain from the roof!"

"Your boyfriend asked for a break-up!"

"X squared plus eight x plus fifteen equals?"

"Your mother came in a rage!"

All of that managed to break the concentration of the Two-wheeled Gang until they were unable to dodge or withstand the crushing attacks from January and the others.

January kicked his opponent's right leg to his knees, then ended by kicking his opponent's head with his right leg.

Early punching his opponent's stomach, when bowed, Awal immediately floated an uppercut with his right hand.

Dodo held the opponent's punch to his stock, then gripped and slammed the opponent to the floor.

Beni strangled his opponent until limp just took it off.

The Six Two-wheeled Gang had been defeated. Toni is still holding Dinda's right arm. Four on one. Toni won't win against January and the others. But it doesn't seem to be necessary either.

With a gesture that shocked everyone, Dinda hugged Toni quickly, wrapping both of her arms around Toni's neck, then he pulled and smashed between the two thighs of the young man with his hanker twice until Toni fell to her knees shouting like a boy. Dinda continued to slap Toni's face several times violently before grabbing Toni's hair, then hit her face with a snore until her nose bled. Then Dinda retreated and ended with a right-footed kick that hit the left side of Toni's face until it fell down.

Dinda's movements, especially the last attack not only made the four Youths who witnessed it flabbergasted, I didn't even expect to see that.

"You taught me that, right?" Ask Early.

"It's not really." Reply January who advanced near Toni who tried to crawl and kick her back. Then January trampled his fingers until something broke. "Without guns, you fool!"

As of January, keep pressing Toni's right hand. Early occupied Toni's body while stepping on her left arm and began to beat her face to a pulp. "This is a reply to Wanto!"

Then in January, Awal, Dodo, and Beni stripped Toni's jacket, shirt, and scarf and his friends with the Two-wheeled Gang logo.

"Never roam our neighborhood with this logo again!" January warns before leaving Toni and her friends sprawled in this building.

--

"Your grandson is hurt, but he's fine. No need to worry." I said to old man visually impaired. "He was at the clinic visiting his friend. Now it's been allowed in by that girl named Dinda." I was at his house after following January and the others to the Clinic. It made me uncomfortable, so I came here.

"So, are they at peace?" Ask the old man.

"For now." My answer. "How long until."

"Hopefully it will last a long time." Said the old man. "Do you have a name?"

"You can call me, man." My solute. Because that's the name given to me by Ra-ul and Ri-val. Ah. I miss them. It reminds me of something.

"Thank you, Man."

"I'm not helping much, old man."

"You can also start calling my name. Joko."

"OKAY. Ah... I have something to ask you."

"What?"

This is my chance, "Have you ever met anyone like me?"

Joko did not answer. He looks hesitant.

...Hunters...

At one of the two-wheeled Gang hangouts, they were attacked by a group of people wearing masks. The group confiscated their jackets and belongings bearing the logo of the Two-wheeled Gang.

"Bad!" Maki was one of the members of the Two-wheeled Gang who was sitting limp with a bloody face. "Who dare you attack us? We're a Two-wheeled Gang!"

One of the attackers approached, he was a tall young man with hair as thick as a headscarf. "We're attacking you for this!" He said as he pointed at the Two-wheeled Gang logo that was on the jacket he was holding. "We're Two-wheeled Hunters!" His declaration before kicking the head of the Two-wheeled Gang down.

Then the Ijuk Youth turned around and stopped near the shorter Youth with curly flap hair. "Hunting their group one by one is a smart idea."

"Guerrilla tactics." Youth Curly Speech. "Effective for Two-wheeled Gangs scattered everywhere. Defeat them one after another before they attack us simultaneously." Evidently.

The Ijuk youth nodded in agreement. "Who's next?"

"A group of college kids who often hang out at Cafe Racing." Youth Curly Speech.

"Let's hunt!"
