Trapped in Ramadhan
Part 7 - Two Victims

...Two Victims...

4 Ramadan. Morning time.

White Cotton Clinic. The clinic in this downtown area is the second most crowded medical facility after Ambrosia Hospital. I am currently on the front page of the clinic which also serves as a parking lot. I came to this place because I was following a group of humans who were carrying their friends who were stabbed during a clash in an empty house. Currently, a human named Wanto is in the ER room. While his friends - eleven teenage boys - gather in the front yard. Some of them sat on parked bikes, their clothes smudged and almost all had bruises on their faces from previous fights. Together with them was a well-built adult man with a plontos head, his father Wanto who asked for clarity of what happened to his son.

"Wanto versus January in the back room. None of us saw it. By the time I got back, Wanto had already fallen near January, a knife in his stomach." Clearly the curly haired young man who was the leader of his group. Name Early.

"This January that stabbed Wanto?" Ask Mr. Wanto.

"I'm not sure, um." Early Sahut. "So far in January I have never used a knife."

"When it was young, like the other friends, your fathers, we never used guns! Our opponents from their territory also do not use weapons. That's an unwritten rule." Bright Mr. Wanto. "But you broke that rule when the brawl was in the field!"

"That's not us, om!" Deny any one of them. The young man whose lower lip was torn apart slightly. If it's not wrong, it's Beni.

Mr. Wanto's forehead was furrowed as he asked, "So who?"

"The transfer boy." Answer Beni. "Name's Toni."

"Members Two wheels." Early Tymbal.

"The gang that often makes the noise?"

"Yes, um." Beni nods. "We can't touch her then."

"Indeed it looks like the Two-wheeled Gang is split apart. But if one of the groups needs help, the others will come. They're too many, too brutal." Clear Beginning.

Mr. Wanto rubbed his face agitatedly. "It's no small matter if the Two-wheeled Gang gets in the way."

Without them noticing, there was someone eavesdropping on their conversation. Wasn't... I wasn't. I'm an uninvited guest who listens to them, but I'm not human. What I meant was a bespectacled girl who came to the Clinic with her matic motor that was not too far from Awal and the others. The girl deliberately lingered on her motorbike while occasionally glancing at the Early group. Then as if the information she needed was enough, the glasses girl stepped quickly into the Clinic. No one noticed it except me.

"This is your problem.." Mr. Wanto began, "The problem that has existed for a long time, from before the era of om. Now there is no point in continuing. The problem must be solved in you. Let none of you attack their members anymore."

"But they attacked us first!" Beni.

"Yes, um." Agree with one of them. "We must avenge him, Wanto!"

"Yes, we're attacking them!" Support the other. Immediately a black aura exuded from their bodies.

"They attacked you for taking revenge on their friend!" Said Mr. Wanto. "If you take revenge, they'll get revenge again. Want to keep doing that until when? Until you're all treated at the clinic? Until one of you dies?"

The eleven teenagers were silent. They know the consequences, but they won't be able to calm down when one of them is seriously injured. They realized the fights they had been doing were completely useless. But after their friend got hurt, they couldn't stop. They have to pay it back. Solidarity is wrong.

"We won't use weapons." Saying Beni slowly.

"You're still unconscious?" Ask Mr. Wanto who is starting to lose patience. "You're just ordinary people who have one life! Wanto could be killed today!" Continue with watery eyes. "I don't want your parents to feel what they are feeling right now! Do you want your parents to worry?"

They were all stunned by the words of Mr. Wanto. They did not expect to see a sturdy man who had always looked tough was shedding tears with a trembling voice. The image of their parents in the same position immediately entered their minds. The emotions that emerged from it instantly faded their black aura.

"You won't attack them again!" Firmly Mr. Wanto after rubbing his face. "This matter must be finished in you! For Wanto!"

"We promise we won't attack them first." Preliminary Speech. "But if they attack first, we have no choice but to retaliate for martial arts." Further. From his attitude and words, that Youth was the calmest and brightest of them. No wonder he was such a leader to his friends.

After noticing the faces of his son's friends one by one, Mr. Wanto said, "Om grateful because you have quickly brought Wanto here. But you can go home now. You have to go to school, this is your last year, don't skip a lot, don't let your parents down."

Afterwards Awal asked his friends to go home while He and Beni would stay a little longer to see the state of Wanto. Obviously his friends refuted, but Awal still forced them and succeeded.

"Why ban them?" Beni asked after the nine friends flocked to leave the Clinic on their bikes.

"Too much, too noisy." Early Sahut. "We were almost expelled by the security guard. We could be expelled." Reciprocity. Then with a serious expression he added, "In addition, if they see the current state of Wanto, it could be that their emotions rise and become angry again."

"You want my fists to be donated to your hull?"

"Ah... Not so!"

The structure of the rectangular White Cotton Clinic building surrounds a spacious courtyard in the center. Entering the Clinic from the front, on the right side is a check room with waiting chairs lined up in front of it and a medicine/pharmacy room where patients take medicines after being examined by a doctor. On the left side is the registration counter and the ER Room. Wanto who fell asleep with an infusion hose attached to his hand is now lying on the bed in the ER Room with his mother who is sitting waiting near the bed.

Early and Beni stand outside the Room, watching their friend from the translucent glass. You could say I intervened in their tragedy. Grief and worry were clearly sculpted on the faces of the two young men. Feelings of helplessness from being unable to get the person they care about to heal immediately. I don't know why I feel the same way.

When Mr. Wanto drove Awal and Beni to the parking lot, they met two young people who looked familiar. One of them was thick and the other was tall with hair that was as thick as a broomstick.

"January!" Exclaimed Beni who immediately lunged and grabbed the collar of the Ijuk Youth shirt. "You're using a knife! It's your fault!" His roar was full of anger along with black aura coming out from his body.

Rightly what Early said, after seeing the state of Wanto and coincidentally meeting the person they thought stabbed him, it was enough to instantly increase Beni's anger.

Although he was upset, but Awal could hold back. "Let go, Ben!" He held his friend.

Beni remained clutching the collar of January with a hateful gaze.

"We promise not to attack first!" Early remind.

"Damn!" Beni was forced to remove his hand from January and took a few steps back in annoyance.

"You're the one called January?" Ask Mr. Wanto.

"Yes." Yeah." January nodded in a calm manner even though his earthquake friend was already agitated.

"You stabbed Wanto?" Ask Mr. Wanto more firmly.

January did not answer. He looked directly at Mr. Wanto who looked at him sharply. In a quiet voice he said, "Do you believe I told you that it wasn't me or my friends?"

"Don't believe!" Beni Sambar. "If it wasn't you, it would be your friend!" The accusation.

"You got that knife, right?" Ask January. "Try the DNA test that's there. You won't find my DNA or my friend's. Only your friend's DNA was impaled."

Beni immediately glanced at Awal, as well as Mr. Wanto.

After seeing the reaction of his silent interlocutor, January turned to his friend and invited him to enter the Clinic.

"Where's the knife?" Ask Mr. Wanto after January left them.

Early invites Mr. Wanto to approach his bike, Beni follows behind. Then Awal opened his motor seat which contained a lump of cloth in his trunk. The beginning swiped the top of the cloth to the side and revealed a blood-stained blade wrapped in it. The knife used to stab Wanto was indeed secured by Awal with his own jacket.

I'm not interested in that knife. Since what Januar said was true, it was likely that there were only Wanto's fingerprints there because the piercer was wearing gloves. So, I followed her in January and her friend entered the Clinic. They stopped at Daisy Room 2, one of the many rooms on the right side of the Clinic overlooking the central courtyard. I was a little surprised as they knocked on the door of the room and the one that came out was the glasses girl who had previously stolen the Early hearing and the others. As soon as she saw January, the girl immediately closed the door again.

"She!" Call January. But the door was unmoved in the absence of an inside word.

"Jan..!" Call the big one while grabbing January's shoulder. "He's still angry. Let's just go home." Bring along.

After a moment of silence, January nodded and walked away.

I'm curious about the human condition being treated in Daisy Room 2. So I lowered my energy so that my feet that had been climbing the ceramic floor had now penetrated through it by a few centimeters to tread the ground under the floor. Then I walked straight through the door into the room. Inside there are two beds facing each other. One bed was empty, the other bed lay a young man with an infusion hose attached to the back of his left hand and a bandaged head. The glasses girl was sitting on a chair near the bed to look after him. As I approached, I found out that the man was asleep quite soundly looking at the fine snoring coming out of him. And I also recognize this young man is a victim of the brawl in the field.

As I watched the young man on the bed, I was drawn again to different places and situations. I walked quickly to the side of the wheeled bed that was pushed by two men in nurse clothes. The young man with the bloodstained head on the bed was the same young man I saw in my other vision. The young man who smiled as he showed the T-shirt with the logo of the Two-wheeled Gang and the one lying on the asphalt. The nurse stopped me and another young man in front of the ER Room.

Another young man wore an open jacket that showed a T-shirt with the logo of the Two-wheeled Gang inside. His face that looked very worried was bruised on the left cheek and right temple. This young man wearing a batik-patterned headband was a human I had never seen before. Then he looked at me and pointed behind me. As I turned around, I could see a girl with an annoyed look walking straight towards me. The girl was wearing tight black jeans and a black white varsity shirt. I've seen him before... It's the same girl I saw in my other vision, the girl sitting with the bruised face and watery eyes. Now the expression disappeared completely, changing with an angry annoyed look. And as he stopped in front of me, his right hand moved swiftly to the side of my face..

"Plakk!!"

The slap of the Girl returned me to reality, back to Daisy Room 2 at the White Cotton Clinic. The young man with the bloody head and the girl who slapped me, somehow they connected. And for some reason even though I didn't know them, I kept getting visions of them. That vision is still ringing in my head, and I need a diversion.
