Na Ming

Li Hao widened his eyes when he found a beautiful blonde girl lying on a bed made of bamboo.

"It's pretty..." Li Hao subconsciously said so shortly after seeing her.

"Many say that, hahaha.." old man chuckled.

Li Hao turned his gaze to the old grandfather who was next to him and asked, "Is he really your grandson?"

"Not 17 years ago, grandfather accidentally found it near the beach. It was still not a year old, and he was placed in a wooden box that had quite luxurious carvings." the old man replied, then let out a long sigh, "In one look, once, grandpa knew that Ming Na was a special child. Her eyes were beautiful green and hair was blonde, her parents definitely had a great background."

"Did grandpa ever try to find out his real parents?"

Ming Na looked at Li Hao without diverting him for a second, then she looked back at her grandfather and asked the purpose of the young man who looked his age coming here.

"Rest for a while, Na'er. Make sure the medicine works well." the old man smiled gently as he rubbed his grandson's head.

"Yes, grandpa." Ming Na gave a small nod, then looked at Li Hao and thanked him regarding the healing pill.

"No problem, I also got a place to stay last night here." Li Hao gave a small nod, then went out of the room with the old grandfather.

After getting out of there, the old man rolled out some carpets on the floor and said they would sleep there. Li Hao certainly did not mind him at all considering that he lived here for free, he would also leave this village after finding out the exact route to the Otherworldly Cave.

Li Hao and the old man slept on the same pedestal while having a small chat, and as time passed the old man fell asleep while he was still awake but with his eyes closed.

Ming Na exhaled her breath slowly looking at it, then with a tiptoe started to exit the room and towards the exit of the house.

Li Hao who was still awake but with his eyes closed clearly knew it, but he did not open his eyes or ask where he had gone when it was already midnight.

After Ming Na came out of there, only then did Li Hao open his eyes and wake up slowly. He stood up, then came out while trying to hide his presence without using a mask.

"Sword...?" Li Hao raised his eyebrows when he saw Ming Na was walking out of the village while holding onto something covered in black cloth.

After following Ming Na for quite a while, Li Hao realized that they had been near the shore. There, the beautiful girl stood right in front of the boulder and then opened the black cloth that enveloped the sword in her hand.

Ming Na started to swing her sword and hit the boulder, supposedly doing so could make both her hands ache but her face looked flat as if she was used to it.

"Well, I'm not really surprised. When I first saw her, I accidentally saw her palm filled with calluses. "Ouch, uncle! You two had too much to drink, let's go back to the village chief's house." the young man who was with the two middle-aged men looked troubled, he was also worried that these two uncles were acting out of his control, "You, can you please get out of here? My two uncles are drunk, I'm afraid I won't be able to control them."

Ming Na stared flatly at the young man before exhaling through his mouth, whereas not long ago he was practicing the sword but was forced to leave due to their arrival.

The young man who was restraining the other middle-aged man immediately exclaimed loudly when he saw her.

When chaos began to occur, Li Hao who watched from a distance would inevitably intervene. He walked leisurely without concealing his presence, and therefore they immediately realized it after less than a hundred meters away.

"You..." Ming Na was surprised to see Li Hao's whereabouts.

"Who are you?" the middle-aged man furrowed his brows, he became wary as he saw that the cultivation base of the newly arrived young man was an 8-star Golden Core.

The middle-aged man who was embracing Ming Na fell silent for a moment before letting go, while the beautiful girl immediately ran slowly with the sword in her hand and hid behind Li Hao's back.
