After setting foot on the second floor, Li Hao immediately observed the surroundings and realized that the room on the second floor was the same as on the first floor.

Not long after getting there, hundreds of creatures suddenly appeared and they were all familiar looking creatures in his eyes.

"Goblin...?!" Li Hao was surprised to see what appeared was a small green-colored creature, "What the heck! Aren't they monsters that usually only exist in the magic world?!"

"Fuckin' goblins, I'll kill you fast."

Li Hao was sure that the aura was not Qi or any other type of energy because he did not feel any changes to the Night Demon sword.

Somehow Li Hao thought that the blackish-red aura was a form of the Goblins' souls. If that was true then the question was, why would the Night Demon sword absorb their souls? Moreover, why did his sword not absorb the souls of the skull troops he had consumed while on the first floor.

After thinking with a cold head, Li Hao managed to deduce some things that he thought made sense.

"The new ability of the Night Demon sword after its evolution is likely to be to absorb souls, but I still don't know its usefulness after this sword successfully absorbed the souls of living beings. And also, the skull army on the first floor is not a soul-possessed creature, so the Night Demon sword did not react after I finished them off."
