Li Hao and Zhang Hai walked out of the room, the two of them instantly found Dang Yun and a few others chatting to each other.

"Young master... Are you two..." Dang Yun felt a little worried that if there was a grudge between the two of them, fearing that his shop would be linked in their quarrel later.

"You take it easy, old man! We won't make any further trouble." Zhang Hai smiled widely-his mood was in good shape at the moment, "I'll pay for the Wind sword, but give it to him." Zhang Hai held onto Li Hao's shoulder as he said that.

"Ah, well, young master. Anything else?" Dang Yun asked carefully.

"I want to find another sword again." Zhang Hai quickly replied.

Dang Yun nodded in understanding and did not say much anymore he directly asked them to follow him out of there.

......................

After Zhang Hai paid the Wind sword and gave Li Hao 500 hundred gold coins, he immediately picked the sword and paid for it.

The two of them were then escorted out of the shop by Dang Yun, it seemed that the old man wanted them to leave immediately from there.

"Hey, Li Hao. Are you really a wanderer?" Zhang Hai asked to be sure.

"Yes, why is it?" Li Hao slightly tilted his head.

"Come into my sect! I'm sure the Elders will like you!" Zhang Hai made an offer while smiling widely.

"I refuse." Li Hao without much thought immediately rejected the offer, before Zhang Hai responded - he first explained the reason why he had refused.

After hearing that explanation from Li Hao made Zhang Hai sigh resignedly, "If you enter the sect you will be able to gain even more! But, yeah, that's it... It's your decision." Zhang Hai shook his head softly as he said so, it was actually a pity that a talented figure like Li Hao was left to it - but he could not force it any further for fear that their relationship would become awkward.

"Although I don't belong to any sect, I'm sure my abilities won't be inferior to those of you geniuses in this generation." Li Hao said casually as well as confidently, as long as there was a system by his side-being the strongest person in the Heavenly Mainland might not be just a mere dream.

"My nails... You're so confident." Zhang Hai chuckled, then said, "Then, we've got it here. My friend must have been waiting for me a long time."

"All right, see you. Thank you for the prize." Li Hao waved his hand while looking at the young man walking away from him.

"Damn! Next time, I'll win it!" Zhang Hai replied with a high tone, even so there was not the slightest bit of anger in his words.

"I'll look forward to it..." Li Hao muttered softly, and naturally would not be able to be heard by Zhang Hai.

Before returning to the inn, Li Hao stopped by a place selling storage rings. The reason for buying a storage ring was so that he did not attract attention if he took out a weapon from the Inventory.

The storage ring was only for diversion, but Li Hao would use the ring to store the corpses of the animals he hunted.

After buying a storage ring that was 5x5 in size, Li Hao returned to the inn where he had been overnight.

Geck...

Geck...

Geck...

Li Hao knocked on one of the doors of the room on the second floor of the inn, and not long after a beautiful woman opened the door.

"It's over?" Diao Chan confirmed, he immediately realized that Li Hao was using a silver ring on the index finger of his right hand, "What is a storage ring?"

"Yes..." Li Hao gave a small nod as he stepped inside the room.

Diao Chan did not ask any further and then closed the door again after Li Hao went inside.

"Hm?" li Hao's brows slightly raised as he found Wei Han cultivating on the floor, he could see surges of energy seeping out of his body, "It seems like he will level up in a moment, that includes fast..."

"Since this city is densely packed with Qi, it is easy for an early Forging Qi to rise to the next star." Diao Chan explained in a soft voice.

Li Hao nodded once and then lay down on his bed

"You don't want to cultivate here either?" Diao Chan asked as he sat on a different bed.

"During the trip you were, too, but why do I feel like you're getting stronger every day?" Diao Chan looked at Li Hao with a probing gaze.

Li Hao chuckled softly before replying in a haughty tone, "This is how the life of a genius, lazy even though it still has extraordinary abilities."

"Tsk, brag on your life." Diao Chan became lazy and turned his gaze in the other direction.

"Where there's a prank, that's the reality." Li Hao snorted softly after saying so.

Diao Chan was too lazy to respond to that and changed the subject of his chat, "Among by the way, did Uncle Jang come to you?"

"Uncle Jang? Your father's confidant?" Li Hao asked, pretending to forget.

"Yes." Yeah." Diao Chan nodded once.

"No..." Li Hao answered briefly so as not to harbor suspicion.

Diao Chan did not react much when he heard the answer, he then woke up from his sleep and came down from the bed and began to do the lotus position which was located not far from where Wei Han was.

"I'm going to cultivate, so don't disturb." Diao Chan said as he stared intently at the young man lying on the bed.

Li Hao himself only raised one hand as a sign of his assent.

Next day.

The sky looked dark and the cold atmosphere was able to pierce human skin, Li Hao with Diao Chan walked out of the inn and went to where the Tournament registration was opened.

Although the opening of the Tournament registration was still four hours away, Li Hao decided to come early. The reason, he is quite sure that the registration will be very crowded considering the slots are limited.

"Unusually, somehow today feels very cold..." Diao Chan rubbed both of his palms, he felt his body shiver slightly.

"really? Just normal, no." Li Hao slightly raised both of his hands forward, he was quite sure the cold wind this morning was as normal as ever, "Why don't you use Qi to ward off the cold?"

"I've done it, but it's free... I still feel cold." Diao Chan replied quickly.

Li Hao's eyebrows slightly shriveled, his steps halted and he held onto Diao Chan's shoulder so as to make him stop.

"What's wrong?" Diao Chan furrowed his brows, staring at the young man nearby with a look of astonishment.

Li Hao did not say anything and he pressed his right palm against Diao Chan's forehead.

"Eh... What's?" diao Chan's cheeks flushed slightly.

"You have a fever." Li Hao muttered as he sensed Diao Chan's hot body temperature, "His temperature is quite severe, you should rest."

"Well, I feel like something's weird..." Diao Chan would have been aware of the peculiarities in his body condition, but he did not think too much about it and just kept quiet.

"Let's go back to the inn..." Li Hao immediately invited Diao Chan to return, but the woman firmly rejected him.

"I won't be back before I sign up!" Diao Chan said in a slightly high tone.

Li Hao paused for a moment before sighing deeply, knowing that Diao Chan was a stubborn woman he would not try to persuade her.

"All right, hold my hand." Li Hao reached out his right hand and made Diao Chan startled.

"What do you want to do?!" diao Chan asked as he tried to hide his nervousness.

"I'll use the fire element so you can feel warm."

"Ah, so..." Diao Chan nodded in understanding, then held onto Li Hao's right hand using his left hand.

As the two joined hands, a thin layer of red started to cover each side of their bodies. At that moment, the chill that enveloped the two of them slowly began to be replaced with warmth.
