Trapped In The Cultivator World
Controlling the Flow of the Qi Ball In One Try

Li Hao then bandaged the wounds on both of his hands using the bandages given by Weng Gu's previous uncle. After which, he put on a wide smile and said excitedly, "If I can already control Qi perfectly, then my strength will be much more increased from now on!"

"Uncle said that if I wanted money, I only needed to hunt wild animals and sell them in fancy restaurants. The higher the cultivation base of the animals I sell, the more expensive the selling price will be."

"If I had known this before, I would have brought the nine wolf corpses. My sword is also left there, so I can't hunt for the time being..."

The look on Li Hao's face became limp, he still walked leisurely towards the direction that uncle Weng Gu was pointing at.

After some time, the weather that had been sunny now became dark like it wanted to rain, seeing it made Li Hao panic a little because he was still in the endless grasslands.

"Will I be safe if I stay here when it rains? As far as I'm concerned, people could have been struck by lightning if he was out in the open like this."

When Li Hao was busy thinking about it, he was completely unaware that from a distance a person with a horse was approaching him.

Li Hao only realized this when the person was less than a hundred meters away, he just looked at the horse approaching him in silence.

"Who are you?" Li Hao asked warily as the horse stopped nearby.

A young man who seemed to be his age descended from on a horse, he opened his caping hat and put on a thin smile, "Greetings to Dao friend, my name is Tang Ling, my name is Tang Ling, I'm here to ask you something" he said, cupping his hands.

Li Hao slightly tilted his head before allowing Tang Ling to ask.

"Do Dao's friends know the nearest town around here? I've been traveling for two whole days, but I haven't found a city or a village."

"Ah, you want to find a city..." Li Hao nodded in understanding, he then glanced at Tang Ling's horse then asked, "I'll tell you the direction to the nearest city, but may I make a request?"

Tang Ling narrowed his eyes slightly when he found out Li Hao glanced towards his horse, but he was unwilling to deduce anything just like that and asked politely, "What do you request, Dao friend? As long as I am able, I will definitely fulfill your request..."

Li Hao smiled happily then said as he pointed towards Tang Ling's horse, "Let me come with you on a horse to the nearest town!"

"Well..." Tang Ling was slightly startled before returning a faint smile, "If that's all your request, I can fulfill it, Dao friend."

"Hehehe... Good, then let's go."

Tang Ling nodded, he put on his caping hat back then got on the horse. After which, he approached Li Hao and asked the young man to go up.

......................

During the trip, Li Hao did not say too much after he told her his name, Tang Ling was also the same and he just rode his horse in silence.

"Friend Dao, do you know how to control the energy in the body?" Li Hao asked, he called Tang Ling as Dao Friend because the two of them were both on the cultivator's path.

"Hm, don't you know that?" Tang Ling felt astonished, with Li Hao's current cultivation level he should have been able to control Qi even if it was only a small part.

Li Hao himself smiled bitterly before shaking his head slowly, "I have no teacher who can teach me..."

Hearing that made Tang Ling a little surprised, "Are you a wanderer who is not in any shade?" tang Ling asked curiously.

"That's how... Both of my parents have died, and the village where I live has been destroyed by a group of beasts." Li Hao replied lying.

"I'm sorry to hear that..." Tang Ling said in a soft voice, "Then, do you want to be a part of the sect I occupy? It's just that I'm not sure you're acceptable to be a disciple there, since my sect is an 8-star sect. But you don't have to worry, I'm sure I can make you one of the workers there."

Li Hao raised a slight eyebrow when he heard all that, didn't this Tang Ling look down on him a little? Though he only wanted to seek a little enlightenment about controlling Qi.

"Looks like it wasn't necessary, friend Dao. I don't intend to be under anyone's auspices, I just want to adventure in this vast world without any restraints." Li Hao refused while giving his reason.

"Ah, so, yes..." Tang Ling paused for a moment before answering Li Hao's previous question, "Qi is actually not that hard to control, you just need to let it go with the flow."

"Following current?"

Seeing that it made Li Hao nod his head in understanding, he then tried to do what Tang Ling did despite knowing that both of his hands were currently still in an injured condition.

Whooosh's.

A ball of Qi appeared in Li Hao's right hand, unlike before this time his Qi was following the flow as exemplified by Tang Ling.

"I can! I can!" Li Hao exclaimed enthusiastically, a wide smile engraved clearly on his face as he could do such a thing in one try only, "I thought doing this would be difficult, it was not at all."

Tang Ling herself who had watched him could only be shocked in silence, she did not speak at all but she was thinking about the talent that Li Hao had, "This one... Was he indeed unable to control Qi before? But, it's hard to believe that in the first experiment he managed to do what I'm describing..."

"Is he really talented or deliberately playing tricks on me?" Tang Ling dissolved in his mind, he gasped as Li Hao held onto his shoulder.

"Friend Dao, did you hear what I said?"

"Ah, sorry... I was daydreaming just now. What did you just say?"

"Thank you, Dao's friend. Thanks to you, I can control Qi well..."

Hearing Li Hao's heartfelt words stunned Tang Ling, he paused for a moment before asking, "Was it thanks to my direction just now, you were able to control Qi well?"

"Yes, Dao's friend. It's all thanks to you." Li Hao replied quickly with a wide smile.

Tang Ling smiled and said, "Good then..."

......................

In less than an hour, Tang Ling and Li Hao arrived at a small town surrounded by wooden walls.

"It looks like this is the city that uncle was referring to." Li Hao said inwardly.

When the two of them were already not far from the city gate, Li Hao directly descended from the horse.

"Thank you, Dao's friend. Thanks to the ride you gave me, I was able to get to this town in a much faster time than expected." Li Hao slightly lowered his body as he said that.

Tang Ling smiled faintly and said, "We're both benefited here, there's no need to feel awkward."

Li Hao smiled in response, as he wanted to say something Tang Ling preceded him first, "By the way, what do you want to do in this city?"

"Ah, that... I might find a job to raise money to buy a sword, after which I'll hunt and sell my game at the restaurant in town."

"Hm, so that's your goal..." Tang Ling stroked his chin before taking out a piece of gold coin from the empty air.

"Take this and buy clothes and swords to hunt." Tang Ling extended her hand to Li Hao.

Of course Li Hao immediately rejected it subtly, he did not want to have much debt of gratitude to others.

"I give you this money sincerely, accept it..." Tang Ling insisted on giving the money to Li Hao, but the young man continued to subtly reject him.

Tang Ling let out a long sigh and then said, "Rather than you wasting time working in order to buy a sword, you better receive this money of mine. If someday we meet again, you can give it back..."

Li Hao pensively heard that before a sigh came out of his mouth, "Alright, I'll take it. Thank you, Dao friend." Li Hao finally accepted the gold coin, "Then let's go inside the city together..."

Tang Ling smiled happily and he nodded his head, "Come on..."
