The two of them no longer chatted any further because the chairman from the bureau decided to stop the break and continue the journey until night.

Not long after and the night returned, the guards then gathered and discussed about the shift division. This time, Li Hao got his second shift, it meant that he would sleep for five hours and wake up at midnight.

Li Hao immediately went to sleep after the shift division was over, inevitably sleeping in the camp because there were no trees around them and there were only countless grass burrows.

"Hm, the mission is still there and has not failed..." Li Hao said inwardly after lying near the campfire, "It is likely that the assault by the group will take place tonight or before we get to Luzin city."

Li Hao yawned casually, then circulated his gaze to find a comfortable position for him to guard. However, there was no time to step foot, there was a voice calling out to him and it was none other than We Chi's bodyguard.

"Of course around here." Li Hao immediately replied.

"Well, but yesterday you broke away."

"Then what do you want?"

"Hehehe... Wanna keep watch together? So we can talk until the journey continues." We Chi scratched his non-itchy head with a wide smile, "And I have two bottles of beer, you'll want to, right?"

Li Hao paused for a moment before smiling faintly as he nodded lightly, "Alright, come on."

We Chi became spirited and the two of them went to a place not too far from the campground.

After which, the two of them started chatting casually and in between We Chi took out two bottles of beer from her storage ring.

"For you!" We Chi reached out her hand that held one bottle of beer, and Li Hao immediately accepted it.

"What is all this for me?" Li Hao asked ascertain while watching the beer bottle in his hand.

"Yes, of course." We Chi gave a small nod, then opened the lid of the beer bottle and drank it.

Li Hao did not say any further, then opened the beer bottle and drank it. Unlike We Chi who spent almost half of it, Li Hao only drank a few gulps.

Only a moment after swallowing his beer water did Li Hao's head immediately buzzed so loudly that it made his body stagger. His eyes immediately turned to We Chi and found a sword in his right hand.

Not long after Li Hao learned that, four other bodyguards appeared and they surrounded him with their respective weapons.

"Basic bastard...! It turns out that you are the group that wants to kill those old men!" Li Hao exclaimed furiously, at the same time Killing Intent seeped out from his body.

The five bodyguards were so shocked at Li Hao's words, they looked at each other and all the attention was on We Chi.

We Chi who realized that immediately shook his head quickly, "No, not me! There's no way I'm telling you!"

"We talk about it later, now we have to take care of him" said the middle-aged man who had a cultivation base in the two-star Golden Core realm.

They turned their eyes back to Li Hao, and directly attacked the helpless one.
