"By the way, go back to the inn first." Li Hao stopped his steps as he said that.

Diao Chan and Wei Han stopped and looked back.

"What are you planning this time, Li Hao?" Diao Chan narrowed his eyes, looking at the young man with a suspicious look.

"It's nothing special." Li Hao lifted his shoulders, and again continued, "I want to buy a sword for the Tournament later and some other necessities."

"Oh, so..." Diao Chan nodded once and did not ask any deeper, "Alright, we go first."

Diao Chan walked back after saying that, as did Wei Han.

Li Hao watched them for a moment before walking in a different direction, when he had already stepped quite a distance - a middle-aged man had suddenly just appeared in front of him.

He is Jang's uncle, a confidant of Diao Chan's father.

"What's wrong?" Li Hao asked without letting out a surprised expression or anything like that.

"Just get to the point, who and why did you get to be with young lady?" uncle Jang asked, his gaze probing.

"I am Li Hao. We were just traveling companions, and I started meeting him when he was almost killed by bandits." Li Hao calmly answered him, he actually wanted to say that Diao Chan was almost 'disgraced', but it felt less ethical to say that to this middle-aged man in front of him.

Li Hao was not very aware of the nature of the person, if only he was the type of person who was easily offended then it was likely that he would be in danger despite giving an answer without a lie.

Uncle Jang slightly widened his eyes, he found no signs of lying in that answer.

It was quiet for some time, until Uncle Jang finally opened his mouth and said, "Alright, that's it. I'll find out your identity further, I hope you can work together not to tell this meeting to the young lady."

"Then.." Uncle Jang resumed his words, and this time a menacing aura was shown only to a Li Hao, "I'll give you the most painful death if you do bad things to young lady."

Some cold sweat instantly appeared on Li Hao's face, his heart pounding quite fast, "Sure..." Li Hao replied while trying to hide his fear.

Uncle Jang didn't say much anymore, when Li Hao's gaze was covered by a passing person - he had already disappeared without leaving a trace.

"Crowded.." Li Hao's voice trembled as he muttered that, he fell silent in place for a while before sighing deeply, "I'm sure he's a Nascent Soul."

Although it was a speech without proof, Li Hao had quite good instincts. His sense of staring at the middle-aged man was very different when he was dealing with someone at the Golden Core level.

"Diao Chan's background is fascinating, yes." Li Hao regained his composure, he smiled faintly before stepping back his legs.

......................

A few minutes passed, Li Hao finally found a place that sold a wide variety of weapons. He without much thought went straight in there, and found some people were looking around at various types of weapons that were plastered in glass cabinets.

Li Hao himself began to look at the weapons in silence, and there wasn't much time he needed until he picked up a silver-colored long sword.

The sword was plain and there was no luxury in its design, but Li Hao felt confident that it would be a suitable weapon for him in the Tournament.

"Very light..." Li Hao muttered softly as he swung the sword several times

A moment after that, a man in his 25s came to him smiling - he was none other than one of the servants guarding this place.

"Good morning, young master. Do you want to buy that sword?" The officer asked in a friendly tone.

"That's how much is it?" asked Li Hao curiously.

"The price is twenty gold coins, young master. The sword is called the Wind sword, named as such because of its extremely small weight and cannot be compared to a sword in general." explained the Servant without fading her friendly smile.

"Empiring... But it seems to fit me." Li Hao said honestly, "Where should I pay?"

When the clerk was about to answer Li Hao's question, a noise suddenly appeared not far from where they were.

"Don't make this matter complicated, I took this sword first... You can't snatch it." a young man who seemed to be Li Hao's age said calmly.

"Kukuku... That sword doesn't belong to anyone yet, it's for sale and I want to buy it now. Why don't you take it?" the other youth said in a mocking tone.

"That's funny, my cuckoo.... I wanted to buy it first, are your words not reversed?"

"Oh, then what? Want to determine the owner here?" the young man holding the sword gave off a four-star Qi Refinement aura.

"Heh, now you want to use violence after losing the debate? Alright, alright.." the other young man also let out a four-star Qi Refinement aura.

"Ekhm... I'm sorry to bother you, but this place isn't a place to fight."

Suddenly an old man in his 50s appeared between the two youths, a five-star Golden Core aura appeared a moment after he said so.

The two young men instantly pecked for a moment when the aura of the two of them was swallowed by the aura of the stranger.

The young man holding the sword instantly drew his aura back, and the same was done by the other youths as well.

"Oh, the two of you quickly understood." the old man chuckled slightly before taking in his Golden Core aura.

"My name is, Dang Yun. I am the owner of this shop. I've more or less known about the problems of you two, if you'd like one of you to lower your selfishness?"

"Don't want to." the two young men replied at the same time.

Dang Yun was silent for a while before letting out a long sigh, "Please cooperate, Young master. I'll give a discount for those who want to budge and choose another weapon."

"Although not, I first took this sword. I won't change my mind." the young man holding the sword in his hand said in a stern tone.

"Discounted? Alright, then, I want the sword." The other young man pointed towards Li Hao, or rather towards the Wind sword.

Dang Yun turned his head in the direction pointed by the young man and found Li Hao holding a sword, his eyes shifted to the nearby servants and making eye contact.

"Ah, it seems like you can't do that, young master. This customer is going to pay for it." The employee who had gotten eye contact from his superior immediately hurriedly explained.

"I don't care." the young man said indifferently.

"You seem to like making fire, yeah." Li Hao smiled faintly, then asked, "What's your name and where are you from?"

"Why are you asking?"

"No special reason. However, if you will answer - I will give you this sword." Li Hao raised the sword in his hand forward.

"Kukuku... Good. My name is Zhang Hai, I am one of the main disciples of the Black Skull sect."

"Black Skull? Otherwise wrong it was a ten-star Black Stream sect, yes." Li Hao stroked his chin with his left hand.

"Open your words... You shouldn't be worse than me, should you?" Zhang Hai smirked thinly

"Oh, you're right." Li Hao nodded slowly, and threw the sword towards Zhang Hai using half his strength.

Zhang Hai widened his eyes and did not have time to react, the sword scratched his cheek thinly and stuck into the wall behind him.

"Ah, it seems like my hands are a little slippery. I'm sorry, yeah." Li Hao smiled gently as he rubbed his palms gently.

"Kukukuahahaha... How interesting! What's your name?!" Zhang Hai was not angry at all, but he felt very happy as if he found something interesting.

"My name is Li Hao, greetings dear disciple." Li Hao cupped his hands, and just after that happened - a notification system appeared in front of him.
