Li Hao halted his steps on the last rung of the stairs before entering the fifth floor room, he opened the inventory and took out a Qi recovery pill.

Without speaking a single word, Li Hao immediately swallowed the pill and continued his steps into the middle of the room. There, he circulated his gaze with great caution and then realized that there were no more stairs leading to the next floor.

"Huh...? Why isn't there?" Li Hao furrowed his brows, and when he wanted to say further, his intention was undone because a great tremor had suddenly occurred.

Li Hao strengthened his grasp and exactly a hundred meters from where he stood, appeared a blood-red portal. In the next second, there was a foot coming out from behind the portal and appeared a two-meter-high human figure with a body filled with wounds.

"Kuahahaha... I finally got out of that dark place! Bebass!"

The figure laughed out loud as if he was celebrating something and his laughter slightly made Li Hao's eardrum hurt.

The sound of laughter did not last long after the figure that had just come out of the portal realized Li Hao's whereabouts.

"Hoo? Apparently there's a human here." the figure smiled broadly, "Who are you, human?"

Li Hao did not reply but instead immediately shot forward at high speed, he immediately launched a streak of attacks.

"It's not polite..."

The figure fended off and dodged Li Hao's successive attacks. After receiving all those attacks for a while, he started to counterattack using his sword Qi creation.

The two of them began to exchange attacks and give each other wounds, both of them were so serious that they destroyed the room on the floor.

Li Hao continued to attack the figure with all his sword skills, despite having exerted everything but he was still unable to dominate this fight.

"You're strong, son. But, your opponent is me!" the figure exclaimed loudly, and his sword Qi let out a hot blaze, "Die!"

When the sword Qi was swung vertically, the flames shot out and formed a giant bird.

Li Hao who saw that instantly created a protective layer on his body as well as launched a Star Puncture attack. The explosion occurred when the two attacks clashed against each other, a shockwave was created until it made Li Hao bounce far back.

"Keugh!" Li Hao spat out a spurt of blood from his mouth, "Damn it! The shock wave was so hot, my skin was burning!"

Li Hao felt tremendous pain throughout his body, despite already protecting himself with the Qi layer but the impact he received still remained.

"You think that fire was a normal fire, huh?! It was hell fire! Kuahahahahaha.." a figure who looked like a human yet not a human slowly walked up to Li Hao, "Look... You love your life, don't you? Then let's do a question and answer session."

After saying so, the figure halted his steps exactly a few meters in front of Li Hao. He smiled widely, then placed his sword Qi blade onto his shoulder.

"First of all, where are the two of us? I don't feel any other presence here at all."

"Before I answer, I want to ask. Who the hell are you?"

"In this situation, you dare to ask?!" the figure raised his voice before chuckling, "Alright, alright... I'll give you a chance to know my great identity!"

"My name is Dam Yuen! People know me as a Killer Devil! Cold-blooded! The bearer of death!" the figure puffed out his chest as he said so, his tone sounding arrogant but also proud.

Li Hao who heard that actually wanted to put on an expression of disgust, but he held it back so as not to provoke his anger.

"Don't tell me you live in the Heavenly Land?" Li Hao asked and put on a face as if he had heard his name.

"Hooo! Heavenly Land, huh? I haven't heard it for a long time, but unfortunately I wasn't born there. I was born in the Ancient Land, a land filled with many strong people!"

"No more questions from you, now it's your turn to answer my questions." Dam Yuen's countenance turned serious, "Where are the two of us now?"

Li Hao swallowed his saliva and did not directly answer the question, he actually wanted to lie but considering there was an ability that detecting lies made him undo the intention.

"We're in a closed Pocket Realm, looking at the structure of this place I'm pretty sure we're now inside a tower." Li Hao replied without having to tell him that this place was a dungeon for him.

For now Li Hao would be friendly as if he had lost, he would buy time as long as possible while waiting for the pill effect of Qi recovery to finish working. Keep in mind, the current Qi in his dantian was regenerating, of course it was completely unaware by Dam Yuen because Li Hao had disguised it as much as possible.

"Pocket Realm, huh?" Dam Yuen muttered as he looked into Li Hao's eyes, "It seems like you're not lying. Then where's the way out?"

Li Hao shook his head slowly before replying, "I don't know where the exit is because after I entered this Pocket Realm, the portal that brought me disappeared without a trace."

Dam Yuen did not take his eyes off Li Hao's eyes, and he was at least quite sure that the young man did not lie for his answer.

"How long have you been stuck in this Pocket Realm?"

"It's only been a day or so, I've been struggling to finish off the monster from the bottom floor." Li Hao pointed towards the stairs, "And this place is the top floor, I thought that by finishing you it could get me out of here..."

"So that's why you attacked me all of a sudden?" Dam Yuen asked, while Li Hao only gave a small nod.

Dam Yuen seemed to be thinking hard, then turned his gaze towards the blood red portal that became his exit from the dark place that locked him away.

"If there's no way out of here, what's the right"

Not yet had Dam Yuen finished his words, he immediately spurted out a spurt of blood from his mouth as a sharp object pierced his stomach.

"B-bastards..." Dam Yuen glared at Li Hao who pierced his stomach using a sword.

"Unfortunately you underestimated me too much..." Li Hao raised the corner of his lips, then immediately manifested the Qi present in the Night Demon sword into a lightning element.

Zraaash!

Dam Yuen further widened his eyes when he felt a high-powered electric shock, he tried to move but his body felt extremely stiff.

"See you, nice chatting with you."

Slaaash!

Li Hao swung the Night Demon sword up vertically and split the Dam Yue half of the body in half.

Not long after Dam Yue's death, a black aura that was so thick came out from his corpse and then was absorbed by the Night Demon sword.

Li Hao who witnessed it immediately smiled faintly, and he was a little surprised as all his injuries including the poison in his left arm began to recover.

"It turns out true, the souls absorbed from the goblins have been depleted and cannot be used as fuel for healing..." Li Hao muttered, "For the time being I can conclude, that the new ability of the Night Demon sword can heal all of its user's wounds."
