Trip to Love (Jackson's Story)
Chapters 12. Leave Me Only

Louisa woke up and just kept quiet. He doesn't want to disturb Jack's sleep. The girl looked at the campervan ceiling with a blank look. Louisa felt that if her condition continued, she would definitely make it difficult for Jack. And he doesn't want to be Jack's burden in the future.

"What are you thinking, Loui?"

"Go back to San Francisco and leave me here, Jack."

"Why?"

"I've been troubling you enough. I don't want to be the one who doesn't know. You've been so good to me. I don't want to trouble you anymore because I don't know when I'm gonna be like that."

Louisa spoke while enduring the tightness in her chest. Jack could feel the girl's breathing starting to get irregular. Jack instead loosened his arms, but instead pulled Louisa's body to be more immersed in her arms.

"Don't say anything that doesn't suit your little heart. It's so torturous, Loui. I promised to protect and protect you. So whatever your condition is I will always be by your side."

"Why are you so good to me, Jack?"

"I don't know, Loui. I feel like you really need protection."

"Jack ...." Louisa could no longer speak. He grabbed Jack and sobbed. Jack smiled faintly and rubbed Louisa's head.

"Oh, Loui. You're so crybaby."

"Since I felt like I had no one in the world I've been trying to hold everything to myself. So now that you want to be my back, you're gonna see this more often."

"I'd rather you be fierce, Loui."

Louisa chuckled even though her tears were still flowing. He even rubbed his face until his snot stuck to the shirt worn by Jack.

While they both enjoyed the beautiful moment, Jack even banned the remote window curtain until now they both saw the sun that was setting in the middle of the ocean.

The night came. Jack made a bonfire and rolled the cloth over the sand. It's a full moon tonight. Many young couples do the same thing they do. The difference is they do not bring Campervan, but they set up tents around the coast.

"Jack, if one day you feel like I'm being very troublesome. Don't hesitate to say it. I'm gonna get away from you. I don't want to burden you."

"You're really chatty, Loui. Instead of you thinking of things that are not, you should just think about your health. Recover yourself, then I'll teach you basic martial arts and shooting techniques. You have to master all of that. If one day I'm not around you, at least you can protect yourself."

Louisa fell silent, she interpreted Jack's words with her narrow thinking. His face suddenly grim. He stared at the bonfire in front of him without answering Jack's words.

Louisa recalled her two brothers' words before they left her.

'Loui, you need to start taking martial arts courses. Don't be bullied. We will not be able to protect you forever. You should be able to fight and fight people who dare to underestimate you.'

"What's wrong with your face? Why are you suddenly so grim?" Jack looked at Louisa with an intense gaze.

"I just remember what you said was exactly the same as what my two brothers said before they all left me."

"I'm not the same as them. I'm not leaving you. I just want you to learn just in case."

Louisa turned her head and looked at Jack who was smiling gently at her.

"Are you always nice to every woman you meet Jack?"
