Chapters 17. Sabotage
The next night Zeus got a call from Joel, Louisa's stepfather. The man said he met Louisa. It made Zeus happy, because he felt he had a clue.
Zeus then asked his men to hack the CCTV in the hospital that was mentioned by Joel. Zeus was very impatient and the news had reached the ears of his son Lucas.
"Why didn't you tell me if you got information about Louisa?"
"I'll let you know if I've confirmed it, Lucas. I don't want to give you hope."
"At least talk to me about this!" grunts Lucas upset. He participated in observing the work of the IT team of his mafia group. His eyes continued to stare intently at the monitor which featured numerous hospital CCTV shots.
Lucas clenched his hands, hours had passed, but none of his men had seen Louisa's sighting. He's sure someone's helping Louisa, but who? She had even read Louisa's entire background and no one had the potential to help her.
"Aren't you guys working?" lucas sarcasm. Lucas' men who were observing the monitor screen immediately stiffened. It's not their fault. They've tried their best, but it looks like someone has sabotaged the hospital's CCTV.
"CCTV in some hospital locations seems to have been sabotaged, sir. Here's a picture of Mr. Joel's arrival. She said that shortly after she met Miss Louisa. However, there is absolutely no sight of Miss Louisa. It even seems like this tape has been cut a lot."
"I don't want to know, you guys should be able to recover that footage today as well."
An irritated Lucas immediately kicked the table nearby upside down. Zeus only shook his head at his son's extremely uncontrollable emotions. He really hopes that Louisa can be found soon so that her son can be calmer. Although he actually wanted to kill the girl for taking his things away.

Meanwhile, in Jack's apartment. Louisa just came out of the bathroom. He's better now and since his wound has healed, then there's no reason to laze around. Louisa went straight to the kitchen because it was about time for lunch.
Louisa opened the refrigerator and pulled out the meat, she also found mushrooms and some complementary vegetables. Without waiting for more time, Louisa began to season the meat with salt and black pepper. He cut the vegetable very skillfully and toast the vegetable until it withered and browned. Louisa intended to make a steak simple and easy.
Jack who sleeps on his stomach on the couch wakes up while smelling Louisa's fragrant cooking. Jack stretched his muscles for a moment, then got up to Louisa.
"What are you cooking?" ask Jack. However, Louisa's reaction made Jack laugh out loud. The girl's eyes glared at Jack while holding his chest. He seemed to be too serious about cooking to the point of surprise when Jack greeted him.
"You're cooking while daydreaming?" jack asked with half-painting eyes.
"I'm not daydreaming, I'm just so focused on cooking that I don't hear your footsteps, Jack. You almost gave me a heart attack."
"What's with your face, Loui? Why are you being so moody?"
Louisa looked up and smiled. He shook his head. "It's okay."
"Are you sure?"
"Very sure. Just wait there, it'll be ripe soon."
"I'm so hungry, Loui. Is your arm okay?"
"Yes, this is so much better, thanks to you. Thank you, Jack."
"What are you saying. No need to thank me."
"Alright, I'll pull my words again if that's so."
Jack just smiled, he chose to obey the girl and sat in the dining room that was directly connected to the kitchen.
Louisa serves 2 plates of meat steak at the table along with her vegetables. Jack stared at Louisa's cooking with interest. He held the fork and knife.
"Hopefully it doesn't disappoint" said Jack. Louisa puckered her lips.
"You're a bitch, Jack."
"I'm just teasing you, Loui. You explode so easily."
"Jack, what if my stepfather reported the incident to Zeus?" louisa asked while putting on a serious face.
