Trip to Love (Jackson's Story)
Chapters 16. The Hospital

Jack looked extremely angry when he saw a middle-aged man pull Louisa violently. He immediately stood up and pulled Louisa. Jack does not expect Louisa's disguise to fail to fool Louisa's stepfather. He means he has to try to find another way. However, right now he just wants to focus on saving Louisa from his unscrupulous father.

"Take my son off" said Louisa's stepfather annoyed.

"Who are you? He's my brother."

"She is my daughter. Give him back."

"Where's the evidence if she's your daughter?"

Louisa was really scared. He has no good memories of his stepfather. Louisa was beaten before being handed over to Zeus and Lucas.

Louisa also does not want to continue to depend on Jack, but she has a major trauma. He could not fight his fear.

"As long as I respect you as a parent. You better get out of here."

"What can you do?" ask stepdad Louisa to scorn Jack. Jack smiled in anguish. If he doesn't remember this is Mario's father's hospital, he'll definitely make a fuss there.

"You'd better go" said Jack bluffing. Without Louisa's stepfather knowing, Jack immediately aimed at something from the clock on his right wrist. Shortly after, Louisa's stepfather's body fell helpless. Jack asks the nurse for help and then while some nurses are busy taking care of Louisa's stepfather, Jack immediately takes Louisa to Jean's room.

Jack just barged into Jean's room. Luckily none of the patients were being examined by Mario's brother-in-law. Jean glares in annoyance when she finds Jack acting disrespectful.

"Jack what are you doing? Can't you knock on the door first?"

"It's very important, Jean. I'm sorry I've been so disrespectful."

Louisa was still dazed. He was silent when Jack sat him in the chair. Jean approached Louisa.

"What's wrong with you, Louisa?"

"He met his stepfather. I just want you to check it out and make sure it's in condition. I'm afraid he's sick. His face is so pale."

"Louisa did you hear me?" Jean shakes Louisa's shoulder. Louisa was immediately shocked.

"Sister Jean." Louisa immediately hugged Jean's stomach because Jean was standing next to her. For a moment Jack and Jean let Louisa cry, shedding all the feelings in her heart so that she was relieved.

Jean rubbed Louisa's back gently. Jack looked with pity at Louisa. That girl must be feeling scared right now. As Louisa's cries began to subside, Jean unraveled Louisa's embrace.

"Did your father hurt you?" ask Jean.

"No, but he said he was going to give me back to Zeus. What am I supposed to do now?"

"You don't have to do anything. You just have to trust Jack. He can definitely help you escape the shadow of Zeus and the others" Jean said.

"Is it okay? I'm afraid it'll get Jack in trouble for helping me."

"Alright, I'll check your wound first. Later after this we think together steps that you will take in the future."

"Jean, I'll leave Loui for a minute, I'll check her father's condition" Jack said. As the man stood up, Louisa held Jack's hand.

"J_ack, be careful."

"Surely." Jack ruffled Louisa's hair gently and then immediately left Jean's room.

Without any intention of buying time, Jean immediately examined the wound on Louisa's shoulder that should have dried up. Jean tries to suppress Louisa's wounds. The girl looks ordinary.

"Hows it? Does it still hurt?"

"No, Brother. It's not too painful."

"The stitching wound has closed perfectly, Louisa. Next you must be careful. Don't get hurt again.

"Surely, Brother. Thank you." Thank you."

Jack took care of this and that. He asked the hospital to keep whatever information they knew about Louisa. Jack is also forced to contact Carlos Mario's father to get permission for it. After that, Jack immediately returned to Jean's room after seeing Louisa's stepfather had been handled by the hospital.

Although his self-examination was complete. Louisa remained in Jean's room because she was afraid to get out of it.

"Sister, I'm sorry, but can I stay here until Jack comes?"

"Of course I can, my patients aren't too much these days. So I have plenty of time to keep you company" Jean said. Louisa nodded in relief.

Not long after, Jack came in. He went straight to Louisa. Jean smiled, she recognized Jack's eyes for Louisa. It is not a look of pity but rather a gaze of affection or perhaps also a gaze of Love. Jack's eyes sparkled brightly when he saw Louisa.

"Jean, how's the wound?"

"The wound is closing well. It could be said that she was fully healed, Louisa also did not feel any pain when her wound was pressed."

"If so thank you. I'll take him away soon. Don't you see there's a difference between Louisa before she goes undercover and when she goes undercover like this?"

"Louisa has a very pretty face let alone her eyes. Even though she's undercover I feel like I can still recognize her."

"If so, I'll be more careful when I bring him out. Thank you Jean." Jack takes Louisa to the hospital.

Throughout the journey Louisa was just silently pensive. Jack wouldn't bother him. Maybe Louisa needs time to calm down.
