Chapter 41. Meeting an Ex

Jack and Louisa look very happy. Jack immediately informs his mother about Louisa's pregnancy. Louisa is now allowed to go home. Jack's been putting in prescription drugs and vitamins for Louisa. The woman was sitting not far from Jack's.

As Louisa was staring at her husband's back, she was surprised to see a woman hugging her husband tightly. Louisa stood up and pulled the woman.

"Hey, what did you do to my husband?" louisa was upset. The surprised Jack looked at him.

"Janice."

"Yes, Darling it's me."

"You know him, Honey?" louisa asked, she stared intently at her husband. Which woman is not jealous to see her husband being hugged by another woman and annoying her is her husband's ex-lover.

"He's my ex-boyfriend, first."

"Oh. Do you want to reminisce? I'll give you some time" said Louisa ketus.

Jack looked over and looked at his wife's irritated face. She smiled and hugged Louisa in front of Janice.

"You don't get jealous. He's just my past" Jack said. Janice furrowed her brows.

"Darling's."

"Stop called him Darling. He's my husband." Louisa looked at Janice sharply from behind her husband's arm.

Jack parsed his embrace and looked at Janice flatly.

"We haven't had any business in a long time. I hope you get out of here soon."

"I'm sorry, Darling. I want us to go back to what we used to be" said Janice shamelessly.

Janice was Jack's last ex before meeting Louisa. Jack decides on Janice because she's having an affair. He also actually knows that Janice is only using herself for her personal gain. That was why for Jack the woman was nothing.

"You're not kidding me, Janice. I'm married now. She's my future and soon I'll have a child. So don't talk about something you won't be able to get."

"Zorahi."

Jack takes Louisa's medicine and instantly pulls Louisa away from there. Janice continues to chase Jack, until they become a spectacle of some people who are there.

"Solve your business with him first. Remember not to be in physical contact with the woman. Or I'll cut off the part of your body touched by it."

"I don't want to. Leave him alone" said Jack.

"But this is so annoying. We become a spectacle."

Janice has caught up with Jack. He pulled Jack's arm. Louisa violently slammed into Janice's hand. I don't know where the courage came from, but Louisa suddenly became like a fierce lion.

"You're really shameless, huh chasing people's husbands?"

"I have business with him. It has nothing to do with you."

"He is mine, of course this is my business. Don't provoke my anger, Miss." Louisa stared intently at Janice, the woman felt a little intimidated by Louisa's gaze.

"Dear, stop. Don't serve. You and our future child should be healthy and happy. Don't think about this woman."

"Jack! You're so mean to me. I love you so much."

Jack smiled in anguish. "Love? What kind of love do you admire? A love capable of betraying for the sake of a project for his father? Or a love that secretly dates a friend of her own? Don't talk nonsense like you're the victim here. I've been quiet ever since because I'm still considering our friendship. So don't act like shit."

Jack pulled Louisa back gently and took her away from there. Janice no longer dared to follow Jack. He really has lost that guy now.
