Trip to Love (Jackson's Story)
Chapter 7. Come with Me

Louisa just woke up, but she didn't find anyone in there. Louisa looked at the ceiling of her inpatient room with a blank look.

"You're sober?" Jack just got out of Carlos' room Mario's dad. He asked for 2 bottles of Ace02 along with an injection device just in case they were already on their way later.

The plan tonight is also Jack will take Louisa away from the city for a while.

"Jack, do you think I should just give up on them? I'm afraid that what I'm doing will harm you" Louisa said without looking at Jack. He was still staring at the ceiling of his inpatient room with various thoughts raging.

"You'd better eat, it's almost night, after this I'll take you away, Louisa. I said I'd protect you. Whatever happens in the future is no longer your fault, but it's my decision."

Jack sat in a chair not far from the bed. He opens Louisa's dinner menu and helps arrange Louisa's bed so that the girl can enjoy her meal.

"Do you know why I helped you?" jack began the conversation. Louisa shook her head. Because the truth is, he doesn't know.

"I have a 16-year-old sister, and my sister and I love her very much. When I saw you hurt and passed out, I remembered him. My brother likes to fight and make trouble. Everytime and everywhere."

Louisa smiled bitterly. It must be nice to have a brother like Jack, but in fact he doesn't even know where his two brothers are.

"Your sister must be very lucky to have a brother like you. Not like me. I don't even know where they are now."

"You have a brother?"

"Yes, I have two older brothers. My father took them away when he separated from my mother. He didn't want to take me because my father thought the girl was useless" Louisa said with a bitter smile. Jack clasped Louisa's hand unconsciously. He just wants to strengthen Louisa. Jack felt sorry for Louisa. It must be very painful to accept that fact.

"Don't look at me like that, Jack. The look in your eyes hurt my pride a lot."

"I'm sorry, Louisa. After this we leave here. The sooner the better. Now finish your food first. I'm going to take a shower waiting for you to finish eating" Jack said, standing up as he tucked his backpack over his shoulder.

"Have you eaten, Jack?"

"It has. You slept long enough. So I ate first." Jack answered while walking to the bathroom.

After the bathroom door closed, Louisa smiled faintly.

At 11 p.m., Jack actually took Louisa away from the hospital on a campervan. Louisa's condition was quite good after getting an ace02 injection.

Louisa sat down next to Jack. He was really fascinated by a car like that house. Louisa sat sideways facing Jack.

"You're not sleeping?" jack asked, honestly he was uncomfortable being stared at by Louisa.

"I just woke up from my sleep, Jack. I'm not sleepy at all. Am I bothering you?"

"No. It's not. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel comfortable looking at me all the time like that."

Louisa laughed, Jack immediately turned his head and was stunned to see the laughter of Louisa who was so beautiful.

I'm sure there's a lot of women staring at you like me, Jack. I know you must be very popular with girls."

"Your guess is just right, it's just that they're not looking at me as close as you are" Jack replied, his eyes still focused on the streets that were starting to seem lonely. Louisa laughed again.

"Where are we going Jack?" ask Loiusa. He feels Jack's campervan has started to leave San Francisco.

"See, maybe to Los Angeles or to the important Long Beach we're a long way from San Francisco. As I searched for information on Zeus's mafia organization and what business he was in."

"I'm sorry if I interrupted your vacation."

"It doesn't matter, but you don't think it's free, do you?" jack asks Louisa.

"What do you want from me? Obviously you know, you're picking up a tramp. I don't have anything to please you."

"Later if your problem is over, I'll just express my wish."
