Under Sun
13. His Cigarettes

Half-five in the afternoon, the two had only just arrived back on Toronto soil. Two and a half hours have passed since their return. There were not many things that Jea or Jaehyun did. Jaehyun with his usual busyness, also Jea who was busy cleaning the house even though Jaehyun was banned.

Jaehyun knew very well, if Jeffrey would be back soon. He doesn't remember how Jeffrey treated Jea or what the psychopath did. But from Jaehyun's observations on Jea, it seems Jeffrey did nothing strange to the woman.

This time, Jaehyun was grateful.

But even so, the man had to rethink how to make Jeffrey can no longer interfere with the existence of Jea. It was impossible if he had to isolate Jea somewhere certain. Handcuffing his own hands was also ineffective. Know where? I don't know, just the hunch.

“Master,” Jea suddenly popped his head out of the door, making Jaehyun turn to him.

“Iya, why?”

“Jea is done cleaning the room Mr.”

Jaehyun remained silent. He did not ask Jea to do it, even he seemed to forbid. But it seems Jea can be quite stubborn for this one thing. Now, an idea suddenly burst forth, making him think twice.

“Then you can go to the river behind the house for a bit? There are my shoes that are missing.”

Right behind Jaehyun's house, there was indeed a small river that was quite long. Not deep, but the flow is quite heavy.

Jea then nodded, “Good, Mr.”

“Dan—” Jaehyun hung up his sentence, making Jea who had already turned around, looked at him again.

“Cautious.”

Although Jea was silent at first, she immediately smiled as she realized that Jaehyun was worried about her, “Good, Mr.”

Door leaf closed. Leaving silence with Jaehyun who was making plans in the workspace. Jaehyun deliberately sent Jea to go to the river because as long as Jea was there, Jeffrey would definitely go look for the girl downtown.

Because Jeffrey, as he knew it, would never go around the house looking for something. After all, Jeffrey only spent at least an hour inside the house and would go downtown from the blurry memories of Jaehyun. Then, how can Jeffrey know about the objects around the house? Didn't we?

The only thing Jaehyun expected right now, Jeffrey wouldn't be able to find Jea for tonight.

【under sun】

His hands felt so cold, was it because tonight was indeed so much wind? Jea should not have come out wearing a thin white dress like this. But indeed from the beginning, Jea only thought if going to the back of the house would not be frozen as it is now.

His eyes narrowed as he tried to focus, with only one hanging lantern lamp with a dim candle in it, Jea walked down a small road to the river.

Next to her hand pulled the end of the dress, so as not to be trampled and dirty. Not far from his point of view, the river was already visible. Jea further slowed his footsteps as the small road became more slippery due to the wet moss. It was raining in Toronto.

The gurgling of water sounded louder as Jea was already standing beside the river. Slowly, he slightly bowed, looking over and over.

“Suatu Tuan where ya?” Ask himself when he never visited to find the item that was Jaehyun pinta to look for.

His footsteps further down the river bank. Jea wondered, were those shoes not washed away?

Not wanting to linger looking, Jea decided to immediately search the middle of the river because he was sure if there were no shoes on the river bank.

The girl took off her footwear, then slowly slipped the foot into the cold water. After placing the hanging lantern beside the river, Jea moved to pull her dress up to her thigh, so as not to get wet.

With such a slow movement, Jea began to browse the river while observing the surroundings. But all he found was rocks until the leaves were sunk on the riverbed.

Maybe it seems like he should ask Jaehyun first, where the location layout is more detailed. Jea decided to go back home.

But unfortunately, he had just turned his body, accidentally his feet stepped on a stone mossy on the riverbed. Make his body smeared until moist in the water.

“Ah..” The girl grimaced slightly as her body felt a slight pain. It was fortunate that Jea quickly restrained her body with her palm, so her hair was not wet.

But look at it now. His body was soaked. Especially dresses. Jea grumbled a little. Though from the beginning he had been keeping the dress and was very careful that he did not leave a speck of nodapun on the dress that Jaehyun gave him.

Jea squeezed the end of the dress. There was no other choice but to actually go home first. Just now that Jea wanted to get out of the river, her eyes peeked at the moving darkness.

Wait for.

What was that.

Jea's heartbeats are hunting when she realizes someone else is here. Or maybe...

Nope, no!

Jea shook her head quickly as the worst-case scenario greeted her. No, not the ghost he was expecting. Because humans are more scary than anything.

“T-Master...?”

“Master...? This Jea,” Jea slightly raised her echoing voice. His tone began to tremble, afraid.

His hands that had been cold from earlier felt even colder. Not only his hands, even his entire body was already frozen.

The black shadow walked closer and closer in the darkness of the night. It was vague, but it seemed like Jea could figure out who the human behind the shadow was.

A tall man stopped his steps exactly five steps from the riverbank. His dark eyes looked at Jea who was still trembling in the river. Both silent. No one said a word, nor any other movement.

Jea knew clearly that it was Jeffrey. With only the capital of moonlight, Jeffrey looks so handsome even though viewed from afar.

Jeffrey moved to sit on one of the sizable rocks on the riverbank. His gaze remained the same, so calm. Or should you say, so unpredictable?

The man smokes the cigarette butt in his left hand. Then, he breathed it out slowly. His eyes remained fixed on Jea who did not also come out of the river.

“Why not get out of there? Need me to pick it up?”

Quickly Jea shook his head, then he walked until he successfully reached the riverbank. Now, the girl was standing next to Jeffrey who was still sitting.

The tip of the cigarette lit up red as Jeffrey sucked it back in. For a moment, Jeffrey stared fixedly at the body-wet Jea. The man's gaze descended on the body that was clearly imprinted behind the dress. Makes Jeffrey feel the fog.

He chose to throw his cigarette butts half into the river when he felt that Jea was frowning because of the smoke that Jeffrey had caused, and then stood up.

“You are deliberately wet-wet let me touch ya?”

Jea shook his head quickly, “E-nothing, this is because Jea had fallen in the river..”.

Jeffrey grinned, “If so, let me change your clothes. How?”

As Jea turned his back, how could Jeffrey say such a taboo?

“Tapi—”

Jea had not had time to continue the barrage he said, his body was already floating in Jeffrey's sling. Of course make the girl strangled in shock, “J-Jeff, where are you going?”

“Home us.”

After Jeffrey made his point, the man immediately left the river and the lantern that Jea had placed there.

His hands felt wet, even Jeffrey also knew if the black shirt he was wearing was also moist because it came into direct contact with the wet body of Jea. But he doesn't care. The thing he avoided the most at this time was not his wet clothes, but Jea's body that would be sick if too long outside at night.

Jeffrey closed the door as he sat Jea in front of the fireplace. The girl's body was still wet, so Jeffrey decided to look for a change of clothes first.

The man again came closer to Jea who was rubbing both palms in front of the hot fireplace. Although, Jeffrey prefers to take his other shirt because he himself does not know where the other Jea dresses are.

“Sini.”

Jea turned his head, looking at Jeffrey who was already sitting on a wooden chair right in front of the fireplace. Jea, who had been sitting on the red carpet, walked up to Jeffrey.

“Sitting on my lap,” Jeffrey patted his thigh, hinting Jea to sit there.

Doubtful, Jea obeyed Jeffrey's just now. Makes the master grin winning.

The two were silent, leaving the sound of wood burning in the fireplace and the thumping of a tight heart. Neither Jea, nor Jeffrey.

Slowly, the hands began to take off one by one the buttons of the dress that Jea was wearing. No rejection, no idea why. Maybe because she's used to Jeffrey's behavior.

The man's eyes still clashed with Jea's. Impressed worship. Jeffrey adored the girl who was sitting on his lap.

The hand began to stroke Jea's bare shoulder with a motion so slowly, it made a little amused.

Jea could look directly into the dark net of the red-bouncing fireplace glow, if Jeffrey hadn't let go of his sight earlier. It was as if if Jeffrey glanced at the others, the girl would disappear instantly.

“Are you touched like this as well as other men?” Jeffrey drew his lips closer and peeked at the wet shoulder.

“T-no.”

“Are you kissed like this as well as other men?” Jeffrey moved around kissing Jea's cheek long enough.

“That, not really..”

Jeffrey then smiled, “Have you ever shown your body like this in front of other men?”

This time Jea nodded in response. Embarrassed, the girl averted her eyes when she also realized Jeffrey was the first man to ever see his body without clothes.

The burly hand turned to hug Jea's possessive waist. He kissed her many times Jea's cleavage was plastered in front of him.

Jea held Jeffrey's shoulder slowly, feeling very embarrassed.

“Call out my name, baby.”

“... Jeffrey.”

“Yes, i'm yours.”

Jeffrey moved to kiss Jea's lips slowly.*********** as he had done. His hand pulled the nape of the girl to get closer.

Jea did not refuse when a statement of fact burst into her mind; if Jeffrey's kiss was that warm.

“I am not a good man for you—”

“But if you like, driving through the night with the window's down, make some trouble in the street, burn out the money, or punch some brats in the face—”

“—I can be the boss for you.”
