Virginia, America.
05.23 Pm, Central Intelligence Agency.
Along the long hallway, the sound of the clattering of shoes knocking on the marble below was heard killing the silence quickly. The troops tasked with guarding each cell door with weapons that were in every hand of the humans seemed to bow their heads slightly in honor of the majestic figure who was walking haughtily through door after door ironwork.
Several people were seen following in the footsteps of the old man, down the silent and gloomy passageway. Precisely in front of the last cell— exactly the end cell, all the footsteps were silent.
"Open," said the old man quietly, making one of the guards guarding the cell immediately obey orders and opening the heavy iron door.
After the door opened, things remained the same; making silence the main lead.
Mr. Jung then entered after he cleared a glance. His eyes glanced at a man sitting at the end of the room— bowed his head with a drooping body.
The old man's eyes glanced at a woman behind him. Then make the woman immediately ordered the existing troops to prepare for alert.
After remaining silent for a few seconds, Mr. Jung turned to move closer to the near-death body at the end of the room.
The old man squatted a little, trying to equalize his height to the prospective interlocutor, "Jaehyun— where Jaehyun?"
Nevertheless, Jeffrey was still unmoved. There was no desire to answer that question. I don't know, his mind feels empty. Blurry views. His body was numb.
Even to listen to a word from the old man who was disguised as his father was no longer able to do.
Mr. Jung rose from his position while smiling faintly, "What do I expect from a human who almost died like you?"
A few seconds were missed without a sentence. Now it could make the old man a little angry.
"You deaf?" His words were loud, filled the entire room, accompanied by a kick that was quite pounding Jeffrey's bare stomach.
The pale dry lips finally let out a rough groan. His pair of eyes were now moving glances at the figure standing looming in front of him.
Netra Jeffrey widened when he realized who the figure before him was. Sontak made the man let out the rest of his energy that had been drained to shout loudly— cursing the name of the Soviet political elite without hesitation.
"DORNE! GO!"
Jeffrey almost went on a rampage again, before at last the troops ordered by Mr. Jung immediately restrained the man's body. A nurse who was seen hastily entering the cell immediately injected a sedative into Jeffrey.
"Printed. What demon child are you? You haven't eaten for five days, and you can still go berserk?" Mr. Jung is full of sarcasm. So the old man chose to sit on an iron chair which was only about eight meters from Jeffrey.
The man's hand has been gnawed, ever since he constantly hurt his own body the last time he was brought here. And that was a month ago, right after the departure of a woman named Cochava.
According to an explanation from one of his subordinates, Jeffrey often hurt his body with sharp objects. He had even punched broken glass in his stomach. And that is normal considering Jeffrey must be forced to hurt the only human being who becomes his obsession.
Jeffrey's face grew thinner, probably because he always refused to eat, before the officers finally had to inject a sedative on him.
"Why do you have to eliminate Jaehyun? Is it because of that girl?"
Again, that question was not addressed by Jeffrey at all. He looked back at the marble floor below him with a blank look.
Mr. Jung frowned dislike. For whatever reason, he really wants to kill Jeffrey now, "I never want to have a kid like you. And you should still be playing your role as Jaehyun, forever. I'm sure you yourself know, your existence as Jeffrey is rubbish. Aren't we?"
The pair of human lips around the two men could only fall silent. Not daring to say anything but listen to the word-for-word roar played only by Mr. Jung himself.
To be honest, the old man did not expect that Jeffrey would come back. What he thought, the development of Jaehyun's character in the man's mind had gone well.
From the beginning, his only child was Jeffrey, and his son was indeed cruel. The embodiment of the real devil.
Eliminating the lives of many people is his hobby to have fun. But since the tragedy a few years ago, Jeffrey began to suffer from a mental disorder where he believed he was a good man.
Therefore, Jaehyun existed.
When Mr. Jung wanted to throw his son away, Jaehyun appeared among the commotion that Jeffrey had made. Makes the old man quite happy and hires several psychiatrists at once to take care of his son.
Errata, the old man did not want to take care of Jeffrey, but rather killed Jeffrey's existence and replaced him with Jaehyun.
"You must be an Jaehyun. And that's absolute. Your choice is twofold; to become an Jaehyun and return to normal life, or to remain Jeffrey and die" said Mr. Jung, who rose from his seat. Seemed fed up when his words were absolutely nothing that Jeffrey was talking about.
Mr. Jung moved towards the iron door of the holding cell. Followed by several troops who had already accompanied him.
Now in the gloomy room it leaves only a silence between Jeffrey and a woman who has not yet left the room.
The woman walked over to Jeffrey. Staring at him a little pity and stroking Jeffrey's hair softly, "You know what it's going to end up like? You knew right from the start that living with that woman would kill you?"
Jeffrey did not answer. But slowly his head was raised, displaying a pair of black eyeballs that looked dim.
"Sorry Jeff. I had to do this," added the woman again, now staring at Jeffrey sedu. Really, if he is not one of Mr. Jung's subordinates, maybe he will not force Jeffrey to do a false scenario in front of Jea and make the relationship between the two become destroyed without end as it has happened until now.
All Ana knows is, Jeffrey's crazy. He can kill anyone, go anywhere, and do anything he wants.
But one thing he had to realize; the shadow of the old man would never let Jeffrey go.
Because the truth is, Jeffrey's life is in the palm of his own father's hand.
