25. The Dark Side Of The Moon

"... Miss Ana, back to Toronto."

Many times Jeffrey tried to digest what was the meaning behind the words. But in fact he returned to gripping. Why did she have to go home so soon?

The man could only stroke the top of Jea's hair slowly. I don't know— looks like Ana's return won't benefit her anything.

"Then, we go back to Toronto now."

It took me a few days to get back to Toronto. The city was still as dense as ever, nothing had changed other than a few small things that did not need to be noticed.

The buzz of cars is speeding up on one of the many streets of Toronto. The panorama around the buildings is still not much forgotten in the minds of both.

Toronto is the same.

Jeffrey started wearing black leather gloves again after putting a military headgear over his head.

Several times Jeffrey anchored the elusan on the skin surface of the back of Jea's hand. While the girl was just looking out the window, enjoying something that felt like a brief nostalgia.

Then Jeffrey thought of something about Ana. The woman should not have known at all about Jaehyun's disappearance. Because even though almost all Toronto residents know about the disappearance of Jaehyun, Jeffrey has deployed all the networks he has to cover the mouths.

So if in accordance with his plan until now, Ana still does not know anything. The woman only found out about Jaehyun who is now doing research outside Toronto.

"It's coming soon, boss," said Jungwoo, who was driving, scattering Jeffrey's daydreams instantly.

"I have to pretend to be Jaehyun for a while. You mind?" He asked quietly, accompanied by his low voice that sounded a little hoarse.

"Jea doesn't mind."

The woman smiled and said three words. Too confused to answer what. His mind was completely blank for some reason, he himself did not understand why either.

After the kiss, the car Jungwoo was driving stopped right in the yard of the house that they had not seen for a long time. It feels like it's been years.

A few seconds before Jeffrey opened his car door, he saw the girl next to him. Then he chose to get out of the car and walk into the two-storey house.

Jea follows Jeffrey after getting out of the car and thanks Jungwoo first. His eyes found out that Jeffrey had entered the house. To be honest, a little made Jea flutter.

After all, Ana was Jaehyun's wife. And Jeffrey's body was Jaehyun's body as well. They share the same feelings and thoughts. Will Jeffrey treat Ana the way that man treats her?

Slowly Jea peered into the house, not finding anyone there.

He chose to go inside immediately. His gaze revolved around, looking for the whereabouts of a pair of humans who were nowhere.

His eyes were slightly rounded when he heard a clear soft laugh that Jea had not heard for a long time. Ana's figure appears behind the living room, linking her fingers to Jeffrey.

Feels weird. Strange lights began to fill his entire body and mind. The girl's eyes could not escape the link of Jeffrey and Ana's hands. Really, I don't think Jea likes to see that.

"Oh, hey, haven't seen each other in a long time," Ana walked a little faster than Jeffrey, after the two met.

"H-Hello Madam," Jea slightly bowed her head which only replied to Ana's slow screech.

"Don't! I am nobody until you have to bow so to me," Ana then smiled and gripped Jea's hands.

"A-Ah, sorry."

The girl could only bite her lower lip slowly. His tongue was muddled, again feeling nervous and not knowing how to express his expression.

Jea's eyes accidentally met Jeffrey's. The man just fell silent. Not saying anything, not even a little smile.

"Then, what if we eat first? I haven't eaten with my husband in a long time, you want to come?" Ana asked then, making eye contact the two instantly severed.

It felt like someone was stuck in her chest when Ana recognized Jeffrey as her husband, and the man was not at all opposed.

"If it doesn't bother you, Madam."

Ana smiled broadly. The woman turned to walk over to Jeffrey and then kissed the man's cheek briefly, "It seems like eating three is also exciting, isn't it Jaehyun?"

Jeffrey then glanced at Ana who was sparkling. Making the man smile, displaying two deep dimples of his cheeks.

"Yes, but eating both of you is the most delicious," Jeffrey switched to stroking the top of Ana's hair and a brief peek at the woman's forehead, glancing at the girl standing not far from her.

The woman's body felt weak. His legs felt unable to support his weight at all. As much as Jea's energy tried to normalize his expression in front of the two lovebirds.

If he does not want to destroy Jeffrey's plans, he must maintain a flawless attitude.

Jea knows that everything is just a show, but why her feelings also can not understand the state of— and participate in the show as it should be?
