Under Sun

Under Sun
24. Forever Will Be Mine

Crete, Greece.

Too hot and too hot; a situation where some people prefer to be under the roof, protected from the existing sunstains. But some humans decided to have fun with the sun, as did Jeffrey and Jea who are now staring at the waves from a distance.

"Would you like to swim?"

Jea turned her head, looking at Jeffrey with sunglasses perched on the man's nose.

"... No."

"Why?"

Then a few seconds passed, leaving Jeffrey still waiting for an answer to be thrown from the lips of the woman beside him, "Jea can not swim," Cicitnya— almost inaudible.

Jeffrey smiled wryly. His fingers gently combed the slightly scattered strands of Jea's hair. The wind likes to act on the girl.

"I can teach you, whatever it is. Including swim—"

"— and the correct way of kissing."

"Jeff!" In one move, Jea had pinched hard Jeffrey waist who was leaning his body on the car door.

Two dimples of his cheeks were immediately visible when laughter adorned his face, his shoulders trembled slightly because his laughter was quite booming not far from the beach.

"If so, will you go there?" Jeffrey pointed to a small, self-contained building in the middle of the beach.

Then the woman nodded. A smile on Jeffrey's beautiful face. His dense hair was swept here and there, along with the blowing of air that was becoming more and more.

Both of their hands are tied. Walk slowly along the soft sand grains that line the second step.

It is the only coffee shop available around here. Small, yet looks so comfortable to look at.

The tosca-inked door with transparent glass was something that first greeted Jea and Jeffrey. The two of them went straight in, then found two young servants smiling kindly at them.

"Welcome. Can I help you?" Greet one of the tall young men first.

Jea's gaze swept across the country, finding the reality pleasant if this place would be memorable for him. Unique architecture with the impression of an old house. Like the '50s.

Even a few meters from their footing, Jea could see the back door of the coffee shop that was wide open, showing a glittering panorama of the sea, not forgetting along with some humans who were relaxing there.

"Two white flats on the other end of the table" Jeffrey pointed to the still-empty table outside that back door.

"Okay sir, please wait a minute."

Looks like Jeffrey can tell right away that Jea really likes this place. Jeffrey again commented on the smile when the girl had already passed first, leaving her still standing where she was.

Jeffrey walked in the footsteps of Jea who had been sitting himself on one end table bench. His hands were waving with a big smile. Wait, Jeffrey hopes no one saw Jea's behavior just now because he didn't want any other rivals to kill him.

"You likey?"

Said the man after sitting himself in front of Jea. Then turned to look at Jea who was now closing her eyes tightly; lamenting how the wind gently stroked her skin that could be reached.

It seems like today Jeffrey can't count, how much he should smile because of Jea. Jeffrey really adored that woman.

Slowly, Jeffrey's hand moved stroking Jea's cheeks that looked slightly red— probably due to the hot sun today.

The fingers were comfortable, soft, and what Jea really needed right now. His fingers moved to attach the strands of his girl's hair behind his ears.

Then Jeffrey softly whispered, "Today you're beautiful."

Again Jea again cringed. Wait— something is wrong? From then on the woman did not think, actually what was stuck in her mind.

Well, to be honest, Jea was certainly still confused and wondering about the matter a few days ago; about Jeffrey with great fear in that dark night.

Jea almost died of worry, he almost wanted to ask a thousand questions about the incident, but I don't know— Jea seems to know if it is not a good thing to talk about.

But now he has to deal again with a pile of absurd thoughts. Why did he feel that Jeffrey felt so familiar?

Wait— don't get me wrong. Jea did feel comfortable with the man but there were some sides that he found behind the figure of Jeffrey and it felt so familiar and.

Like, Jea had met the man before the bloody night before. When Jeffrey slaughtered the entire Collins family and met him.

A thought that is beyond reason.

"You why? It hurt?" Jeffrey who had noticed Jea's unusual behavior immediately asked.

Because ever since they left the beach, Jea seemed quieter than usual.

Jea turned her head quickly, her eyes opened wide— a little surprised, "Ah? E-no."

Then Jeffrey frowned, "You—"

The sound of a walkie talkie signal that sounded loud enough to make both of them look at objects located on the dashboard of Jeffrey's car.

"A moment," Jeffrey grabbed the object and pressed the black button next to the walkie talkie.

"Sorry boss, there's something I have to report."

The man's brow was clinging, Jungwoo's voice just sounded more serious than usual, "Say."

At first it sounded quiet. Not a word came out of there; jungwoo. The man was silent in a thousand languages. Whether deliberately to make Jeffrey angry because Jeffrey most do not like to be made to wait, or indeed the problem he wants to talk about is too difficult.

"... Jaehyun's wife has gone home."

The car Jeffrey was driving stopped suddenly. And fortunately Jeffrey's left hand who was holding a walkie talkie was swiftly holding Jea's body beside him so as not to stumble forward.

"What do you mean?"

"... Miss Ana, back to Toronto."
