Morning is still bright. The sun is still up as usual. A beam of light stealing in through the small vents gradually began to wake the girl from her sleep.
But one thing needs to be realized; everything is clearly different.
Jea's eyes that seemed to swell slightly narrowed, barely able to open both eyes as the dim light began to gnaw at the entire inch in the room.
His head ached, throbbing strongly. Maybe because he could just fall asleep when the night was almost light again.
Slowly Jea opened his eyes, not poking into the statement if the eyes were still puffy. His fingers slightly squeezed the white blanket that felt cold.
Today is the day Jea has decided to leave. Completely gone— left everything that has happened up to now.
At the end of the room was already lying a black backpack that was not too big. It only contained some clothes that he had bought himself and also food supplies.
Jea just doesn't want to mess with Jeffrey's life anymore.
His footsteps began to tread on the floor that really felt cold. The scarf he wrapped around his neck still seemed unable to fully warm the tiny body.
Jea moved to sit in front of the dresser. Staring at his reflection in the round mirror. No more smiles there. One of his fingers touched those pale lips, stroking them slowly.
Perhaps, Jea shouldn't think about the man to the point of harming herself. But what does he have to do when the first priority in his life is Jeffrey?
As much as possible, Jea smiled in front of the mirror. Convince yourself that everything will improve. Because at every opportunity, Jea can always rise again no matter how the world breaks her body.
Jea then took a white coat lying on the nightstand and put it on as fast as lightning. His feet moved again, walked towards the room and picked up the black backpack.
His eyes looked at the clock that was clanging on the wall. An hour later, the car he was supposed to be riding would leave for the destination he was heading to.
Quickly the girl came out, slightly widening her steps towards the main door of this house.
That morning the house was quiet, of course. Keep in mind that Jea decided to leave the house in the morning like this because Jeffrey and Ana were on a short trip to Brampton. I don't know, he didn't want to explore more in the reason why the two went there.
"Are you ready?"
A young man turned his big motor back on and glanced at Jea as she emerged from behind the cream door.
In return, Jea simply nodded. He immediately rested his body on the back seat when Jisung's head hinted that he would no longer linger spending their time and immediately sat in the passenger seat.
"Hand," Jisung said again, making Jea directly hold both sides of the man's waist.
And without further ado, the motorbike immediately drove rapidly splitting the streets that were quite quiet.
To be honest Jea was lucky because last night, Jisung accidentally visited the house when Jeffrey was not there. Making himself and Jisung reunited in a situation that had never been prepared before.
And the thing that makes Jea more surprised is when Jisung immediately offers a ride for him. Even Jisung also advised himself to leave immediately.
For Jisung himself, living under such circumstances was no different from suicide.
So, Jea just agreed to all the advice Jisung gave her. Even the woman was still inexhaustible why Jisung wanted to trouble himself just to help himself who was nobody in the genealogy of the man's life.
The distance from Jeffrey's mansion to the train station that Jea wanted to ride was not too far away. It only takes twenty minutes by driving normally. But because Jisung is not one of them, then they can arrive at the station within fifteen minutes.
"thank you. Jea no longer knows how to say thank you to Mister," Jea said the first time after fifteen minutes of silence together on the trip.
"I told you, just call Jisung. Not Mr."
Nervously Jea nodded clumsyly, "Ah— sorry."
A few seconds Jisung finish to look at the pale face of Jea who had come down from his motorbike. Jisung shook his head slowly. How could his general who he believed would not do such a bad thing be able to do something like this?
Jisung turned to remove the black scarf he was wearing. Slowly, the man wrapped the scarf around Jea's neck which was already wrapped around by another scarf.
"J-Jisung?"
The man glanced at Jea at a glance, then gently patted the scarf that the woman was wearing— so that at least the snowflakes were no longer stuck there, "Be careful. You know you can call me anytime."
Afterwards, Jea fell silent. Along with Jisung who returned to advance his motorbike left a fairly solid place.
Fifteen minutes from train to Greater Sudbury. Jea had to prepare herself immediately so as not to be left behind by the carriage. Considering the swarms of humans around it is very crowded.
His two cold hands tightened his grip on the long brown skirt he was wearing. I don't know why, he was feeling so nervous at the moment. Is it possible because in reality Jea has never faced the world herself?
The human crowd still made him afraid and nervous. But she knew there was no other choice.
"Jea."
His eyes slightly moved to and fro, looking for where the familiar voice that had just mentioned his name came from.
The two netra fell right on a tall man standing among the human crowd. Suddenly, making his body suddenly kelu— frozen in place.
The man with his black leather jacket walked over, as if splitting the crowd that was teasing him. Getting closer to the point that Jea didn't know what to put up the man's nose.
"Jea," Call her again. The voice was echoing, sounding the same, sounding warm.
And it made the girl not know what to do.
Jeffrey breathed out slowly as he managed to reduce the distance between the two. Make their contrast height difference visible instantly.
His slightly disheveled black hair made Jea know, if the man was in some hurry to get here.
"I just want to tell you something."
Both of Jea's eyebrows began to link when Jeffrey finally touched it. Wh why? Why should it be now? Why would Jeffrey have to explain everything he did when Jea decided to leave?
But even so, the girl kept her lips tightly closed.
For a few seconds, the two were silent to each other. Both Jea and Jeffrey, none of them seemed to chant the words first. Until the end of the situation, Jeffrey again decided to continue his words.
"Sorry."
The two black eyes were clearly staring at the goal on the pair of Neutra Jea who also returned her gaze. Sendu, and sayu. For some reason, Jea just wanted to hug the figure of the man before her now.
Because the woman knew, her gaze never lied.
"Yesterday, I'm not ready to tell you this. I know you want to go now. But before that, I want you to know that we have to stop here."
To be honest, Jea had guessed that that was what would come out of the man's lips. But for some reason, hearing it directly still made his chest hurt. Carefully Jea tightened her fist, resisting the turmoil that almost escaped from her eye patch.
"I love you. And that's fact. I don't want you to leave without knowing that. But you should know that I can't leave Ana either. I realized that she was still a legitimate woman to be the wife of this body. I also have to be in charge—"
"— because in social status, I'm also her husband."
For a moment, Jea closed her eyes. His head again throbbed irregularly as the words pierced him so forcefully.
There is nothing wrong with that word. All that was wrong was her and the naivety she had until this moment.
But no matter what, no one can help him. Because in reality, the heart of the woman has fallen for all the advantages and disadvantages that exist in Jeffrey.
Jea tried many times to calm her slightly unreasonable roar of breath, "Then let's just end up here, Jeffrey."
The man's face faintly smiled faintly, "Sorry that I suddenly changed and said nothing to you. I'm sorry for hurting you."
As vigorously as possible, Jea tried to return the smile, "May Jea hug Jeffrey for the last time?"
Jeffrey was at first in his place. Silenced in a thousand languages before finally he grabbed the body of the girl who felt a little quivering.
Jea was crying in silence. Unplanned, the tears again soaked his cheeks that he fell right on the black leather jacket Jeffrey was wearing.
In the crowd, Jea and Jeffrey were silent in a silence that only the two understood. The girl trembled as Jeffrey's hand stroked his back.
"Next time, don't expect more from anyone. Hope will keep us breathing just to kill us in the end" Jeffrey said faintly. Making the girl in his arms more and more feel broken into pieces in a variety of flavors that only he felt himself.
Jea loved Jeffrey, and so did the man. But when the two are confronted with a reality that can no longer be ignored, the only decision Jeffrey can make is to let go of the girl.
