17. He Told Me That He Loved Me

It has been almost a week since Jea arrived in Pennsylvania, precisely in Washington DC. The distance between Toronto and Pennsylvania takes up a full day. After using the ship, he was taken by a large truck to the FBI headquarters center as Jaehyun wanted.

Unexpectedly, it turns out that inside the FBI Office, there are several isolation rooms on the thirty-fourth floor, one of which is a temporary residence for Jea. Everything is available there, from breakfast to dinner, change of clothes, as well as a hot bath.

Jea was very afraid, because only this time he met face to face with humans this much. Moreover, their faces were all sinister. Impressed flat and too serious. Fortunately, there was one guy who was quite friendly there, his name was Mark.

"Hey, what else?"

Although a little surprised by Mark's sudden arrival, Jea tried to smile, "Nothing."

Though clearly before Mark noticed that Jea had been pensive in front of the window of his room for almost an hour. Whether more or not, the point is Mark has noticed the woman pensive for an hour.

"Then I have some good news for you."

Jea turned, "What is that?"

"You know about The Big J? Mafia is now the center of attention? He said, his face was similar to General Jaehyun."

Quickly Jea neutralized her surprised face. How not, Mark's words just sounded not at all funny and made him almost out of his heart, "Th-where did you come from?"

"One of the top intel trusts."

Then Jea closed her head. He chose not to talk much anymore, out of fear, he said something that was not important.

A buzzing noise accompanied by a few code breaks spoken by a woman interrupted their brief conversation. Mark looked at Jea briefly and patted her on the shoulder slowly, "Eager. Don't forget to eat and sleep enough. Your face looks tired."

Jea returned the smile with a little groggy, "I-iya, thank you."

The door to his room closed again. Leaving Jea in solitude again leads her to old dreams. Making the girl pensive, was Jeffrey okay there?

It's been a week, and he hasn't seen Jeffrey yet.

Wait— isn't this good? But why did Jea feel so longed for that low whisper? Why does it feel like he wants to feel back the touches that make his skin crumble amused?

Apparently, Jea's gone crazy like Jeffrey.

Every eight o'clock in the night, Jea wakes up suddenly. No, it wasn't planned at all. Jea herself did not know why. His eyes felt sunken, his cheeks also felt more thin than the previous one.

Jea got up from the bed, intending to wash away her hot body. Her footsteps led Jea into a small room that happened to be available in the room. Ah, understand, this is an isolation room.

The girl undressed her white dress limply, picked up the soap, and began to wash herself.

His mind was still ringing about Jaehyun's letter a few days ago. There, Jaehyun said that Jeffrey would not look for him. So Jea can rest easy while he's at FBI headquarters.

Of course, Jea also knew that Jeffrey would not come for him. Jeffrey wasn't that stupid to be caught raw and probably executed on the spot. Especially for a child like him.

Jeffrey's crazy, but not stupid.

After seeing the reflection of his innocent body through the mirror, Jea realized that the traces that Jeffrey left behind were still there.

His hand slowly touched his lips, recalling everything Jeffrey had done there. A warm kiss that feels so sensual.

Jea wrapped around her body with a towel and then came out of the bathroom. Her footsteps brought Jea closer to the shabby wooden cabinet next to the bed, wanting to choose clothes that looked almost the same.

Just as the girl wanted to take off her towel, a loud scream shocked her. Quickly Jea pressed her towel and looked timidly at the source of the sound, the window.

Just now that Jea wanted to shout loudly because he saw a straight man all in black entering his window, the man immediately placed his index finger in front of his mouth while removing the hat that had vaguely covered half of his face.

Suddenly, Jea widened her eyes in disbelief. His body felt like a new stone statue for corn. His heart is pounding violently. The girl looked unwilling to believe the figure in front of her at this moment. Jeffrey.

The man looked a little messy. No, it's a mess. Her hair was disheveled, as well as her clothes full of fresh splashes of blood. It looks like Jeffrey had slaughtered a few people first before entering Jea's room through the balcony of his room.

Wait, how did this guy get in through the balcony? His room is located on the thirty-fourth floor.

"J-Jeffrey? Is that you?"

His feet are wide. In the next second, Jea was already inside his warm embrace. Jeffrey felt so dizzy so busy inhaling the scent of Jea's hair that had always been his candle. He crazy. For almost a week, Jeffrey was crazy.

Almost every day he tried desperately to go to Pennsylvania but when he woke up the same night, his body was always back in Toronto.

He even killed innocent people, because his anger was unstoppable.

Everything kowtowed before the man as his gaze of guts could eradicate all the humans around him.

"Do you miss me, baby?"Jeffrey kissed Jea's forehead long enough. Until it felt, Jea was really afraid that her heart would really explode right then and there.

"I-I miss you too, Jeffrey."

Now, the man moved to kiss the pink lips that had driven him crazy for several days. Slowly, Jeffrey sucked gently on the lips, sipping them to cause a low chatter.

Jeffrey kissed his girl, this time not with lust and desire. Jeffrey just channeled all forms of his longing that was held up for so long.

"I want to kiss you gently, and I want to hold you forever like this," The hug tightened. That means that Jeffrey really doesn't want to lose Jea to the second one. Jeffrey willingly gives whatever origin Jea will remain beside him.

For whatever reason, Jeffrey is deeply in love with this girl.

The man smiled happily. Really, there was nothing happier for her than to be able to feel her whole body that could touch the girl's delicate skin.

In ten minutes, Jeffrey knew that FBI agents would come to this room and arrest him. Maybe he could have been shot dead here, too. Because Jeffrey had killed several FBI special forces who guarded the main gate also that had blocked him.

"Come, we're going, baby. There's no time."

Hearing that, Jea immediately let go of her embrace. No, it's not like Jea doesn't want to go with Jeffrey. Only, the girl suddenly recalled the contents of the letter that Jaehyun had given her.

It says Jeffrey will die if Jea continues with him.

Of course Jea doesn't want that. Jea will probably be the only human who doesn't want Jeffrey to die that soon.

"Darling? What are you waiting for?"

Jea's eyes flashed in confusion. He doesn't know how to. Until finally, Jea accidentally glanced at a carving wound around the man's stomach. Yes, wounds. Looks like an incision.

Cochava means star.

Cochava is the final name of Jea. And at that time, Jea just knew that the meaning behind his name is stars. But what makes Jea more surprised is, why did Jeffrey have to cut his own body to carve the tattoo?

"Jeffrey—"

The sound of noisy feet filled the hallway of Jea's room. Making the two then look at the door leaf that quickly crashed just like that.

Damnit. FBI agents have caught up with him.

"RAISE YOUR HANDS!" Said one of the men in black with a long shotgun in his hand. Sounds so jarring. Make Jea's hair bristles instantly.

Jeffrey just stared flatly at the troops who had already surrounded him with red lasers from their respective fire rifles.

In a hurry, the other agents immediately run a special operation to arrest Jeffrey. Five people had already held the man's body so Jeffrey could only let his hands be cuffed by thick iron.

And the only thing that made Jeffrey leave his body in custody was;

the man knew that Jea would be released from here if he was captured.

For some reason, Jea wanted to cry right then and there. No, rather— he's already crying. Slowly Jea walked up to Jeffrey despite being detained by one of the agents on the current mission.

Jea looked undaunted as she decided to walk up to Jeffrey. Because the girl could feel, Jeffrey's gaze was beckoning Jea to come closer to her.

When Jea stood in front of Jeffrey, the man smiled. With one movement, Jeffrey gently kissed the lips that felt wet with tears.

"You should know that, you will forever be my always," Jeffrey said last time before the troops stabbed him in the neck with an injection.
